The City of Draken Falls
population 187,900 citizen

Draken Falls, established 1827, after the Great Awakening, the point in history when the human race were shown the trust, the Veil'force' which had fog the mind of man to the truth of the supernatural.
finally fell. After the prosecution of several races they created Draken Falls. A place were all were welcome human or others.

But the races of the veil were not easily welcome in the world at large, several clashes all eventually trigger the Shadow War of 1902-1911. Eventually a peace was settle, a global declaration was established, All races were to be welcome into society, provided they have establish proof of society.

Now it is modern day 2020, Draken Falls is in the midst of a election of a new Mayor, several candidates have entered only leaving just 4 for the citizens to their new leader to lead them to another era.

Draken Falls Info

1. With the infusion of technology and magic, Draken Falls has become one of the most technological advances city in the world.
2. It has its own congress, known as the Council with deals with laws and affair of the supernatural community.
3. Several of the top Supernatural company have their HQs in Central Crater(Draken's Downtown, also built in an 15 mile wide crater of unknown origin.
4. The are many embassies the supernatural race representative, to makes sure all citizens of all races were treated fairly.
5. Draken Fall is appropriately 25 sq miles large

The Races

Draken Falls have several different races inhabited within its borders, and the known races are as follows:
Humans- humans have existed since 100,000 years ago, they are the dominant race on Earth as well as calls Earth their realm.

Elves- Hail from the realm of Alfheim, they are vary in size most tend to stick with their own. They are good with magic and most live in the elven district of Freyr

Orcs- There is an old tale that the Orcs had from Alfheim, but when ones of their progenitors became corrupt with dark magic the Orcs were born from his spilled blood from the Dark Elven war. They are mostly a proud warrior most joining the Orcus Corp a mercenary group that takes contract all over the world.

Drawves-

Dragons- Giant Flying Lizards, although if they hear you say that they will kill you. They are premitted to be in their old forms in city limits, but many can have a human form for easy maneuverability throughout the city. Many come from many cultures around the world.

Angels- Come from Heaven, though many stay in Heaven having a few on Earth for its defense and a representative of YWHW.

Demons- Come from Hell, many come to do business in Draken Falls, mostly illegal.

Gods- Gods are the oldest race, with many of the Parthenons being thrown in the winds after the explosion of the Abrahamic religions. Most make their home in Draken Falls, many trying to find ways they can recover followers, though few succeed. Though their are rumors of 'New Gods' taking their place in the world...

Other- There are many other races that existed though as it currently stands the 8 have official registered with the city.

Abilities: Magic User, master of spells and arcane magic, though due to previous run with the law in his youth his powers have been dampened
Personality: A bit brash, and headstrong. He has a bit of a rule breaker mentality, that has mellowed somewhat in his growing up in the past few years. But that doesn't mean he still don't see the rules as something that doesn't need to be challenge from time to time.
Bio: Conrad was born in Draken Falls and he had a lousy life because of it. His mother died in childbirth and he was raised by his neglectful father. And in his angsty teen years joined a gang, known as the Tarot, although he owes his life for giving him a better life, he knew eventually that they would cost him his. In 2014 he was caught during a museum heist gone bad, and was easily sentence to 5 years in the Vault and dampening of abilities though branding. After serving his time he managed to live a somewhat life on the straight and narrow as he helps run a bookstore in the east end of the city, called the Lost Library.

Might be interested in this one, altough I didn't do any rp on nationstates before (I am familiar with rp in general tho). Are there any specifics for dragons or is it OK so long as it isn't a completely invincible behemoth with nuke breath?

Referring to other rps I participate in? I've been on a few discord rps and have read some other rp posts on this forum. I might have difficulty always writing such long posts as on here especially since English Isnt my native language but with enough time between posts, as is usual on here from what I've seen, I can most likely do it. Regarding dragons, I was asking if there's anything specific about the abilities, size and other features of dragons or if I can define everything for my character so long as it is within reasonable power limits and doesn't contradict anything stated In the top post.

Ah well I encourage people to do their own thing. I mean I do have a canon of sorts but it very malleable

Bio: Born Nathaniel Johnson to a middle-class family in Virginia in 1846, Nero sold his soul to the devil at 17 in exchange for surviving mortal wounds sustained during the Battle of Gettysburg during the Civil War in 1863. He eventually allowed himself to be turned into a demon after relinquishing his soul in 1933 and is currently engaged in various business ventures of dubious legal status in Draken Falls including nightclubs, strip clubs, escort agencies/prostitution, money laundering, loan sharking, protection rackets and gambling dens. He adopted his current human-passing form in 2014, which is his favorite so far as he considers this his most attractive body yet thanks to a little cosmetic shapeshifting.
Side notes: He's bisexual and drives a white Rolls-Royce Phantom.

On the subject of Gods, do you follow the Rioridan School of thought, Whereas the Gods, such as Greco-Roman, Egyptian, ect have always been around due to Western Civilization rather than being worshiped, or the American Gods School of thought, where a concept like, say, the internet, cars, drugs, anything modern can be a "new God". Basically how screwed are the Gods?

This looks pretty interesting. Though, I'm wondering if hybrids would be allowed, or if you have to pick just one race? Because I have an idea for a character whose character would kind of revolve around him being a hybrid

Its more of a mix between the two. The old gods have existed since their inception, and still do.But some modern concepts have become gods not all but big ones like internet, money, technology have

Hybrids are allowed.

Well thanks nice to see you again its been a long while!

Not sure if I'll be able to join this but I have an interesting character idea forming. Perhaps an angel who's a police officer or even the chief of police, since they probably have a rather 'lawful' nature. Might need some background as to why they're working for the police department and not exclusively (or perhaps not at all) as a holy messenger or whatever.

Your character could be a fun foil for my demon mobster. As for the background, being a cop would be an excellent cover to blend into the human world at large.

Tarnen, I retconned my app just to make the character more interesting, so if you feel the need to re-evaluate it/my involvement go right ahead.
