We need to move quickly to keep up with the pace of player actions

I support this, 1 day=3 weeks is way too slow and might hurt the RP.

Ditto

Thanks, rom!

Okay, so 1 day = 1 month. Got it. Might want to update the OP post with that information if not added yet.

Perhaps a bit of an arbitrary question - but we are assuming that the geopolitical landscape of NPCs is roughly equivalent to 1700?

Presumably so, with the accretion of Britain not actually caring that much about America, because the prussians are the ones with a holding.

Ah, I see. I was just curious, since some conquests in, like, Southern Germany/Czechia should probably actually be facing some modicum of resistance from the extant nations, no?

Particularly Austria and Bavaria, since these two actually stood a chance against the Prussians if united. And I don't see how can Lichtenstein be expanding so quickly without any semblance of resistance from the bigger German nations or the Swiss Confederation.

I forget this. Plus we got to Prague, but not really much else.

I have resistance from them. But, if I can't expand, then that just stymies my plans.

I’m not actually going to Austria, for that reason.
I would lose. The Czech, not so much.

@Greece, we use messengers to send messages for faraway/official use at this time. I'm not sure about using pigeons to send messages if they even exist at this point of time but even if they did, it would be used for short ranges. Telegrams are invented in 1800's.

Using pigeons was viable, but telegrams did not exist for a century and a bit.

The British Army still uses pigeon carriers in WWI.

Ditto for the Americans.

BTW How’s it going in Jamaica?

I haven't wrapped it up yet, but since I wrote it days ago it's safe to assume the Americans has taken Nassau and is heading to bulid a fort in Jamaica now.

I believe it's currently something like 1 day = 3 weeks or something, so 3/4 days

yes you can, but there are also other difficulties.
your sailors would have caught scurvy because there isn't vitamin c, and they would be lacking from sea sickness.
an attack with all of your troops properly healthy, would take until Wednesday/ Thursday

Great work on the map. If it's possible, though, can you slightly edit it to give me Israel too so that there is a land connection between Egypt and the rest of the Empire? Probably a mistake on my part, since when I said Palestine I was using the medieval terminology to refer to the Israel/Palestine modern region as a whole. Thanks in advance. :) :)

While you're at it could you please add me (Hungria) to the map? Thanks. Here is the territory updated for the second week.
