After doing some thinking, I think our best bet is probably to assume (Not-John McCain) died earlier, allowing the governor to schedule a special election for 2018 rather than 2020) which a Democrat won.

Unfortunately this means no Arizona senate race in 2020.

I’m open to other ideas.
