An alt-hist (Alternate History) roleplay with me, Hypercapital as the OP (Original Post)
It's also my first time OPing, btw.
Backstory:
Although the USA is in the title of the RPG (Roleplay Game), it's actually not an America-centered roleplay. It's a sandbox, meaning that I expect a variety of countries, weird countries, interesting countries, and a variety of ideologies. (color-coded on purpose)
The ideologies may vary from Technocracy to Anarchism (and also note that there's many styles and versions of Anarchism, like Anarcho-Syndicalism or Anarcho-Monarchism and also sister-ideologies to Technocracy or other ideologies, though I don't expect players to have nations that fully encapsulate their ideology.)
An example being Quebec from a roleplay I was in; Quebec essentially was a Technocracy, though it also had Technocracy's sister-ideologies, like Anarcho-Transhumanism, Transhumanism, Futurism, and etc. Quebec also focused on the struggle or concept of "Legalism v. Vigilantism" and "Technocracy v. Environmentalism" but also "Elitism v. Antiestablishmentarism."
I also don't mind if people made up their own ideologies, or tried new and interesting things. Afterall, this is not a realistic roleplay or a strict roleplay. Be creative and have fun (yes, I know that last part sounds Cliche. I had to say it, though, since some rps seem overly-stuffy and strict or TL:DR)

Religion(s): State-sponsored Atheism, Matriarch Worship (which may also make this a Theocracy technically)
Appearance (of both HoS and HoG, optional): Long, jet-black hair, rosy cheeks, freckles, blue lipstick, ribboned hair, short yellow dress, blue flats (Her Brilliance Flora Fabulini)
History/Bio: After the Roman Empire, Italy grew dissatisfied with both the concepts of Democratic-Republicanism and Imperialism/Expansionism, so they changed to non-traditional ideologies and Systems-of-Governance. One of these systems-of-governance/ideologies was Matriarchy; having a skewed, female-led society and nationstate. Italian Feminism is an extremist feminism seeking to form a Utopia that's "girls-only" or gender segregated. (think like irl RadFem but also think of the Amazons/Wonder Woman or other Matriarchal societies, though this is way less idealistic compared to the latter thought)
I will be laissez-faire w/ Numbers (like GDP/Economical stuff or Population, as it is possible to have a pro-natalist state and whatnot; think how Afrobian ((Africa + the Arabian Peninsula)) countries are third-world irl but have a mass of people, or think China, Bangladesh, Pakistan and India, since "population explosions" happen.)

Ideology: Democratic-Republicanism, Armed Republic

History/bio: Colonized by the Dutch Empire in the early stages of colonization, Patagonia first started-up as settlements and villages but the Dutch got richer and richer off of America's resources and decided to fully invest in their American colony. Patagonia fought off the Amerindians and other European colonizers, then growing happy with being under the rule of Holland since the monarchy was fairly Liberal.
They fully emerged themselves in Dutch culture, but one of the kings decided that it was finally time to give the Patagonians their independence.
Patagonia set-up a Democratic Republic, free militias, essential acts (think the Mayflower Compact, Magna Carta or the US Bill-of-Rights) and a first-past-the-post voting system.
The Patagonians continued their ties to the Dutch, as-well-as acting like a big brother to the other American nations (think the Monroe Doctrine or how the US, Brazil and Mexico act dominant towards the rest of America)
Vibes: Depends. The year/era/timeline is also unimportant, as I am treating this as free-floating.
(I say the vibe depends, cause the RP has no set vibe, like Noir, Cyberpunk, Fantasy, etc. If you want to be dark and edgy, then you may! If you want to be happy and cheery, then that's all you!)
Technology level: Also free-floating or lopsided (you may rp your country having a knight-based military or a Halo-styled Marine Corps or even both at the same time ((Anachronistic militaries and scenery)))
Miscellaneous: OP has prima facie (first pick; first choice) and may also rp secondary/additional nations, or unpicked/made countries (like if the game is lacking a China player or a France player, then I'll boot-up a France app and play.)

Country name: American Republic

Ideology: Democratic-Republicanism, Anticommunism, Francophilia (pro-France), Hints of Technocratic Republicanism, Frontier State (another term for Manifest Destiny or being a nation of explorers and conquerors)
Land/map/Geography: USA minus Alaska plus Canada (minus Western Canada/Canadian Cascadian areas) plus Baja California, Cuba, the Bahamas, Fiji, Micronesia, both Samoas, and Haiti, also Puerto Rico and all other US island territories.
Head-of-State: President Tulsi Gabbard
Head-of-Government: N/A (VEEP position left vacant during Gabbard's run for the Oval Office), US Cong. acts as the HoG.
History/bio: Most of US history, minus Russia's selling of Alaska, the Great Depression and other financial/economical disasters, Clinton and everything after Clinton (like Bush, Obama and now Trump; nameless presidents filled-in those spots.), US wins the Cold War like normal but Korea is reunited and Vietnam is Democratic. Gabbard won the 2020 Democrat Race and was able to unseat the incumbent President.
I also forgot to mention that Haiti stayed occupied by the US after the 30s, and Congress voted for Haiti to be kept into the Union since they feared a third-world country so close to them (since it'd ruin the US' reputation), Micronesia was a part of the US irl but left around the 80s or 90s, but this time, Micronesia became a full territory and then received Statehood, as Congress wanted another Australasian US State. US-held Samoa consisted of both American and Unamerican Samoa this time, Canada besides its west is a result of the US fully winning the War-of-1812, and Cuba stayed a US territory, then got elected into Statehood. Baja California was a result of the American-Mexican war.
The flag and name were results of the Founding Fathers (and this time, not having so much Anglophobia.)
Religion(s): Secularist, Atheist state (full separation of Church and State unlike irl US being Secular Christian)
Appearance: Tulsi looks nothing like her rl counterpart. (Blonde, pale, a flair for wearing red, and sandals/flip-flops with a bag always on her shoulder.)

Black turtleneck, very short skirt, barefooted, hair in a medieval-style bun, bandages on her forearms (also Tally; alternate outfit)
History/bio: Hard to actually begin, as England was rumored to be Londonium, the former Capitol and place of residence for everyone of importance. Londonium expanded subtly until it grew to encompass all of England. Princess Diana had faked her death (and instead of being the Princess of Wales like irl, she was the Duchess of Cornwall and reclaimed the title of "Princess," not knowing what happened to her Family.) and made a union between England and Cornwall.
There also was a "Union-Between-families" though Diana was too young to not know what the Union fully was. It was thought that the Union was between Spain, Portugal, France, Monaco and Brittany's royal families, and that it was very secret. The Union continued, and Diana continued to have her Princessly powers, as although they were a Republic, they still felt the need to keep the family but place-in checks and balances so that the family never overstepped the Democratic authority.
Minarchism and Feudalism worked, as all power/gov't in the country was decentralized, but the First Minister (Tally Nelson) didn't fully organize everything under an Emperor or Jarl but organized a shared power between Diana and her family and also the First Ministership.
Religion: Anglican Church, Pagan sects, Atheism and Agnosticism
Country name: Russian Technate

Appearance:
History/bio: Russian Empire, Alaska is given independence, USSR forms and Monarchists flee to Alaska or the US, Cold War happens, USSR collapses, Russian Republic is established, Alana runs as President, takes over, transforms Rossiya into a Technate and declares herself "Empress" and the last of the Romanovs.
Although "Yeltsin" is her surname, she is unrelated to Boris Yeltsin.
Also note that w/ the AESI and Allied Front's liberating of Europa, Russia swooped in and took the Slavic lands. Now, they're a superstate.
