The two threads that will bring the cast together are the arrival of Mubarak at the city gates and the characters converging on the sacked trading caravan, so anyone who is involved in either is prepped to meet the crew, both will end up in the same situation. Though if neither seems like a good fit/you don’t think your character would have a reason to be interested in either then I can use my god-like powers to bend the world around us and we can work out a more tailored introduction

I'll be writing a new post soon. It's mostly reactionary, but I thought it would be worthwhile to provide an alternative perspective on the events at hand.
