Does resettling ruined former settlements (Fornost, Annumimas, Tharbad, Lond Daer, Framsburg) provide any form of bonus to settlement speed or requirements or stuff?

For the IC raiders, yes.

OOCly it's great as you and Isengard get someone to play against while Gondor gets someone to coordinate with.

Oh absolutely - wonderful for me, not so much for Gwynric on the ground.

Big G, when I fix my app on Sunday night/Monday, I'd love a quest, if you have time to prep one. Or maybe give me a clue on the faction boons.

And do you have a preference if I make a character app for dain or not?

I really don’t need characters for factions.

The bonuses I’ll TG you once everything else is done, based on your history (or, well, predetermined since you are applying as a canon faction).

I have a question so I don't stuff up in an application for this:
what is the territory? Is it literally that of Earth?

This is Middle-Earth.

And we're playing Middle-Earth Third Age factions.

I made a post, but I would like confirmation that I did the recruitment and force deployment correctly. Also, I am guessing my quest is to establish a settlement in The Angle as any other would elsewhere. Should consider Elven values for that? or should I use Dúnedain?

The values for settlement establishment are the same across the board.

1.000 Elves to make a settlement in 6 months.

Dunedain count as High Men so as 0,5 Elves towards that count.

If you have less than an amount equal to 1.000 Elves, building the settlement takes longer.

I would note, mainly, that you could recruit 12 Elves, not 11 - Imladris is, after all, a Tier II settlement, not a Tier I.

Totally up to you. It'll build equally quickly either way, but obviously you'll need to commit less aggregate numbers with Elves instead of High Men.

Yo G-Tech...the Gladden Fields and the Dead Marshes are not the same.

One's west of the Anduin and north of the Emyn Muil while the other's east of the Anduin and south of the Emyn Muil.

And shouldn't the Morgul Host not be bearing the skull moon of the Morgul Vale?

Ah, right.

As far as I'm aware, the Orcs of Minas Morgul itself would have born the skull moon, but the host emerging from the Morgul Vale in general would not - they are, after all, largely drawn from Mordor proper, and Tolkien only makes mention of the Morgul-sigil being applied to the guards hailing from Minas Morgul, not the vast legions in the Pelennor, even though that host marched from the Morgul Vale.

Hmmm, true. On the Pelennor Fields there was no mention of the banners Frodo and Samwise saw.

Roger, roger then.

When aiming to construct trade deals (as per Rhun's faction buffs) with others; is it expected I send an in-person emissary or should a missive suffice?

Are there also constraints on alignment, or does any faction work?

Totally up to you as a RPer on both counts; I’m not placing mechanical restrictions anywhere I can avoid them.

Then I shall do a mixture of both; Mordor and Dwarves get emissaries, anything beyond that gets a letter.

Apologies, but I am still out of town. I expect to be back within three days, at which point my application will be my first priority. However, if that’s too long, then I don’t want to clog up space in the RP, and will step aside if needed.

No need to worry about that - I'm happy to hold the spot for you. If you don't mind, however, I'll also put up a brief post for Rohan, since our Dunlending player is waiting on a response. Nothing that will harm you, just something to move his plot along.

The age of men is over... the time of the Orc, has come.

Let's see. I have Orcs open in Moria, the western White Mountains, Ered Mithrin, the Mountains of Rhun, Angmar... that's probably about it, unless you want to pop up somewhere particularly fun.
