OOC: We are in the middle of the Napoleonic Wars, in which we are at war with France. The Battle of Trafalgar was literally a few months ago. And warships did lay-over in foreign countries in peacetime.

IC:

The Minotaur and Sprite were heading for Bilbao, which was a friendly port to them. There, the ships would be repaired, the crew would blow off some steam, and maybe some new recruits would get picked up.
