Weapons: Kyoshi Armor, Wakizashi , Dagger, War Fan, retractable round shield

Biography: Born in the town of Gaoling, Koyi was a member of the prestigious and wealthy Beifong family. Being the youngest of 7 children and a girl on top of that she was likely to inherit next to nothing from her parents, so she had a great deal more freedom to choose her lifepath than others in her family.

He uncle was a traveling merchant and at the age of 12 she went with him on a journey through the Earth Kingdom, where she explored and met countless people and began to teach herself earth-bending. After a year of travel she arrived at Kyoshi Island and became enamored with the order of warriors there. She decided to stay there rather than continue her travels, staying for 6 years as a member of the order.

After 6 years of training and honing her martial arts she went through a bad breakup with another of the Kyoshi Warriors, this combined with her natural wanderlust made her leave the island and travel once again. After 2 more years of wandering she found master Jiang Kun who lived in Omashu training alongside other earthbenders such as the future King Bumi of Omashu.

After 10 years she was proclaimed an earthbending master at the age of 30. She tried a hand at teaching herself but once again became restless and started wandering once again, learning new bending techniques and martial arts while working as a mercenary and warrior for hire. Never evil or malicious but frequently staying in the grey area morally, she was an earthbending master but certainly not a hero. As the fire nation invaded she looks west to defend her nation.

Exactly, the Iron Fan is also based on the Japanese marital art of Tessenjutsu rather than the Kung Fu of most avatar martial arts. So i'd like to use more Japanese style weapons considering thats where she learned to fight
