+++Criminal History: Some early run-ins with disciplinary actions at school, usually from fending off bullies and the like. Sometimes she just gets into trouble. No serious criminal record.
+++Military History: None
+++Abilities: Increased agility, ability to make a very loud "bark" as silly as it sounds it has been known to unnerve some people. She can make rather large leaps into the air or across gaps. Increased night vision ability.
+++Skills: A tech and gear head with the ability to repair and build mechanical and electronic things. Some martial arts skills but not many given she's never had any formal lessons or training, mostly just imitating what she could snoop on or teach herself. Good athleticism in general sports.

Her mother an ER nurse and often working odd and long hours meant she was usually on her own most times and made a bit of a strained relationship between them. No knowledge of her father, not sure if he's a deadbeat who left because he couldn't hack it or simply she came from a one-night-stand; honestly she's never had the courage to really ask or dig deep further, fearing the truth.

Everything is technically good, however I would prefer a longer bio. ACCEPTED either way.

+++Abilities:
- Book of Legends - The Book of Legends is a powerful magical artifact that enables its inheritor to channel different powers through it, usually one or two at a time. Where this Book came from is not exactly known. One could trace its history throughout various sources; though many would challenge the truthfulness of those sources. What can be known is sketchy at best.
What is a fact is that this book is not like others. While other books are chosen by the reader, the Book of Legends chooses a person to inherit its gift. There is no underlying motive for why it chooses individuals. Some inheritors in the past have not been exemplary in any fashion. Some have been downright cruel. Others have been noble. It is a mystery that has not been solved and may not be.
When Ty Kendricks inherited the Book of Legends, it claimed him for its exclusive usage. That means, others are not able to channel the abilities from this Book that Ty can. If taken out of Ty's possession or used by anyone else, the Book of Legends appears to be blank. Writing or scribbling in it will disappear, however. It is impervious to burning, warping under water, ripping, and other forms of destructive treatment. It may mystically return to Ty if out of his possession for some time. However, it may also decide to choose a new inheritor. Some previous inheritors have called it fickle.
- Those aren't just kids' stories - Using the Book of Legends, Ty can manifest one or two abilities at a time based on a character in the story that has been brought up. When this happens, the story book opens to a story and usually displays a picture of a character in the story, that gets translated into a supernatural ability that Red can do. Quite often he's surprised by what this allows him to do.
So, for example, if the storybook brings up the Three Little Pigs, Ty may just be able to manipulate straw and hay, using it to build barriers, burying people in it, or flinging the straw as if they were sharp projectiles. But, if the storybook brings up the fairy tale of King Midas, Ty might turn things to gold. But he doesn't really know what story or character is going to be coming up when he flips to a new page, so he can't plan to just become something. It's quite random, actually.
Ty retains the one-two abilities until the next time he flips to a different page in his storybook, even if the storybook escapes his possession.
The effects of individual abilities vary. In the examples above, barriers constructed by straw manipulation would last five minutes past the time the storybook brought up another story. But cuts and impale wounds caused by projectile straw would be as any other normal wound and would need to be treated accordingly. In the case of the ability to turn things into gold, in the case of a King Midas type, what had been turned into gold would last permanently unless it had been living; then it would resume its normal life unharmed five minutes past the time storybook brought up another story.
+++Skills: Driving; Motorcycle riding; Some basic repair skills; First aid; Tying knots; General Computer usage and internet familiarity; making fake I.D.s
+++Code Name: Red
+++Psychological analysis: Kind of laid back. An extrovert, Ty likes socializing, alcohol, parties, but more for the social aspects.
+++Occupation: Ty worked part time at an Italian restaurant. Since he moved to NYC he has just been getting settled and hasn't gotten another job yet.
+++Biography: Ty Kendricks still doesn't know how he came to inherit the Book of Legends. It's not like he was hero material. Growing up in Omaha, Nebraska, Ty was coasting through life. Sort of thought he might go to college, but more because he'd surely have friends going wherever, or could meet girls. He had no major in mind and no real plan for what he was doing afterward. Just living in the moment, not planning, and not really making anything of his life.
And then, at a smoke break at work, there it just was. A strange book, which was shuffled under some crates by the outside door of Sal's Italian Restaurant where he worked. And it was as if it was pulling at him. Like some kind of Star Trek tractor beam, making complete unawareness turn into a small curiosity, which grew into a compulsion to take. When he did, it stopped the feel of pulling, and instead, felt like Ty had owned the book all his life. Like it was a part of him. For it was.
He didn't open it then, waiting until he got home from work. Back home, when he opened it, the book spoke as if in a trance-dream. Or rather, it communicated by Ty absorbing its information as if he was practicing osmosis. It "told" him that it was no ordinary book. But the Book of Legends was one name it had gone by, one name out of a legion of others, and that Ty was its new inheritor. The Book would help shape and sculpt Ty to be the image it saw for him. But, it would always come at a price. (So far, the price has not been made known to Ty. He wonders if the finished product of him being a hero, is the price the Book of Legends has in mind.)
After that, the book turned to a random page which featured the story of Little Red Riding Hood. A white crackling energy from the book flooded into Ty, and filled him with abilities he had never known. With it, he could move silently and had an increased agility. This was helpful, because by this agility, Ty saved two of three members of a family from a speeding car out of control. Astonished at what he had just done, the people who had seen Ty in this way freaked out and captured the whole scene on video. Because he was wearing a Huskers hoodie at the time, and because the video had captured Ty saying the phrase "Red Riding Hood," the video was posted with this miraculous yet troubling new abhuman the media now called "Red." The agility and silence faded away after a few days. It took awhile for Ty to figure out his ability was channeling from the Book of Legends, and transferring the energy of the book through the lens of the character it chose for him, in essence giving him differing and seemingly random abilities.
His life pretty much over in Omaha, there was no way Ty could stay and his parents were greatly afraid what would happen either to him or to them if he stayed with them. Ty's life took a decisive turn when his parents sent him to the Academy for his protection and guidance. He's been here for several months now.

DENIED. Whether magic actually exists in this setting is something I haven't decided on yet, but the problem with this app remains that the setting is a school for X-Men style mutants exclusively, and as such they'd have no real reason to admit Kendricks, whose powers come from a magic tome.
