The Forward Party appears to be generating traction on social media. It is possible they are able to obtain ballot access in a not insignificant number of states. As you know, the Libertarians and Greens combined last election gained around 4% of the vote. In addition Arnold Wolf only won Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin by a combined tally of less than 100,000 votes. His margin of victory in these states was exceeded by the total number of Green votes in these states, making it likely that Green vote splitting could of cost Diane Clifford the election. It is highly possible that the Forwards may gain enough votes to throw the election in those states to the Democratic nominee, assuming he does not pull from them as much. I was wondering if the Republican Party or your campaign has a plan in place to discredit the Forward Party and Johnathan Wilson among the Republican base to ensure he does not create vote splits among enough of our base to cost us swing states and key Congressional races.

TO: Senator Colbert
FROM: Governor Richardson

The first part of the plan is to not allow them to gain traction in the first place, we also don't know if they will take more votes from us or the dems anyway. We have preliminary ideas that we are developing to take them on but we are in the research phase currently... the party didn't exist a few months ago we need more data.

Nate Richardson
Cheshire County, New Hampshire
December 17th, 2019

After burning plenty of jet fuel the Richardson campaign returned to New Hampshire once again. They began the day at C&S Wholesale Grocers in the town of Keene, where he spoke with the management and the workers there about their economic situation and how it could be improved, as well as the customers going up and down the aisle. After this he did a brief interview with the local print paper The Keene Sentinel, and an interview with the WKBK 1290 radio station. Keene was a college town and he spent the majority of the day more or less circling the college and visiting the various small businesses reliant on the college in the town. Breaking up the retail visits to small businesses were two small group meetings with faith leaders, one at the United Church of Christ and another at the local Mormon Church which he had built a strong relationship with elsewhere in the country. He switched to residential retail from 3:30pm to 6:30pm and then ended the day with a townhall at Keene State College.

The Richardson campaign team in Cedar Rapids focused more than usual on disaster relief considering the recent devastating flooding in the past decade and Richardson’s own prominence and expertise handling disasters and the most recent set of Hurricanes which saw heavy news coverage. The Czech Village was the primary target for today’s retail visiting and speaking with the Czech heritage Foundation and touring the National Czech & Slovach Museum & Library to show respect for the cultural heritage of many Cedar Rapids residents and acknowledge the importance of tourism to their city. He also visited the Czech Cottage, Sykora Bakery, and White Lion Treasures which were all Czech themed and emblematic of the city as a whole. Following this visit he also visited the African-American Historical Museum and spoke privately with local African American Leaders about their concerns and made them feel heard. The retail for the day was mostly focused around Collins Aerospace, the city’s lead employer and supplier of aerospace and defense products. Richardson campaigned in the area focusing on his industrial plan and desire to take on China which would require a focus on the tech and industry which was so vital to the Cedar Rapids economy, it was an additional bonus that Collins Aerospace was headquartered in North Carolina and that he had ties to the company going back decades. After residential retail Richardson held a townhall at a local school gym.

Greenville County, South Carolina
December 19th, 2019

Nate’s day in South Carolina began with a visit to the historic Simpsonville baptist church where he spoke to churchgoers and clergy about upcoming Xmas preparations and “community values”, and how he could support efforts to build up communities like theirs. He also visited some of the rougher neighborhoods in Simpsonville which had a significant crime problem, he spoke with communities at length about their concerns around crime and jobs while discussing the potential impact of his own plans on communities like theirs. While most african americans in this community couldn’t vote in the republican primary it still showed he was ready to take on crime and engage with diverse communities. The afternoon was spent in Mauldin, starting in the Golden Strip Career Center which was a vocational high school. Richardson lauded the high school and pledged more funding to vocational and trade schools like this one to better prepare people for in demand jobs. He spent the day with working class families in the city, visiting local businesses from auto shops to restaurants and grocery stores and spoke with workers about how to best support them and what they needed. After his residential retail he held a town hall at one of the many vocational schools in the city.

Nate Richardson
Pinellas County, Florida
December 20th, 2019

The campaign in Florida had changed significantly after the drop out of Prendergast and Nate’s campaign had totally reorganized itself and its schedule to account for the new reality. Today that meant visiting Pinnellas County and specifically the suburbs of St Petersburg. The county was known as a moderate republican stronghold which had become increasingly disillusioned with the party in the Wolf era. Richardson was a bridge between traditional conservatives and Wolfists, and while not publicly styling himself as such, privately his inner circle began describing it as ‘reform conservatism’. The Richardson campaign essentially operated in an arc around St. Petersburg’s urban areas, going from North to South and following the half crescent of suburbs around the city. He also visited Jabil Circuit, Tech Data, and various industrial companies where he highlighted his industrial plan for the country. This suburban blitz was broken up with a sobering and respectful visit to the Florida Holocaust Museum and said off the record to a reporter “We need to remember the reason I don’t have a few more relatives…” In the evening after the laser focus on the suburbs he gave a townhall at a local farmers market.

Nate Richardson
Duval County, Florida
December 21st, 2019

Jacksonville was possibly the most visited city for Nate’s campaign beside those in the first 4 states, he saw Duvalle County as key to both the primary and the general. Today he would be hitting the area once again but would be focusing on the Jacksonville Beach area. He began with retail at Naval Station Mayport speaking with military families and small businesses reliant on the service members economically before heading to more touristy areas around Atlantic Beach where he emphasized his experience helping the tourist and beach communities in North Carolina, which he repeated at Neptune Beach and Ponte Vedra Beach. By the evening he arrived in Baldwin and held a townhall at a local club with a large auditorium.

There has still been no explanation of why the DOJ intends to narrow its charges against former Senator Luke Hawthorne, and true to form there has been no explanation of the recent news regarding former Representative Jamison Marsch.

The intentional silence from the DOJ on the decision to drop charges against two corrupt politicians is deafening. Perhaps AG Michael Jones is protecting his fellow Republicans? Or perhaps this corruption goes higher up than the DOJ wants to admit? It is time for the House Judiciary to subpoena the AG!

@RoughriderGovernor
There are some very legitimate concerns that even some very crazy Democrats are raising about why charges are being dropped. If they are innocent, and they got investigated, and they could not find any crime it is obviously a very good thing. I hope that it is due to that, rather than some very nasty reasons.

@RoughriderGovernor
Why are we spending so much on foreign aid?? I had very strong conversations with Sec. Porter and he tells me that so many times the foreign aid goes to some very nasty people who use foreign aid to do some very nasty things. The billions and billions of dollars that we go to buying off dictators could go to so many good things like rebuilding our own infrastructure!

The US can no longer afford the deadweight of Europe! They must spend 2% of its GDP on defence!

It’s time for politicians to put the needs and rights of working Americans ahead of corporations and trade deals that sell out jobs to overseas nations. If I can ask one thing of the new administration, it’s to focus on American jobs and families over foreign trade.

The Republican Party faces a crisis ahead with the current state of affairs. A pathway should be cleared to allow RICK TAWNEY to run for re-election as the natural successor to the Wolf Presidency. Then, in between a flight from Iowa to New Hampshire just after New Year's, she arrived promptly to meet with Senator Derlinski.
