Hypolite slept as his driver drove up to the Holland residence,

"Sir, we have arrived" The driver said as he opened Hypolite's door.

"Oh yes, thank you!" Hypolite replied as he placed his Arnold Wolf hat upon his head. The driver shut the Limo door as Hypolite walked up the steps and rang the doorbell at the home of Governor Elect John Holland.

Holland saw the car drive up to his house and set down his tea. He waited for the doorbell to be rung until he opened it.

"Gaspard! It's nice to see you." He held his hand out for a shake and invited him into his abode.

"Hello, Mr. Holland!" Hypolite shakes Governor Holland's hand as he steps into the home "What a lovely home you have here!"

Holland saw the car drive up to his house and set down his tea. He waited for the doorbell to be rung until he opened it.

"Gaspard! It's nice to see you." He held his hand out for a shake and invited him into his abode.

"Hello, Mr. Holland!" Hypolite shakes Governor Holland's hand as he steps into the home "What a lovely home you have here!"

"Thank you!" Holland smiled and guided Hypolite to his living room. He sat down in his chair and motioned for the senate candidate to sit across from him. "Would you like any tea or anything else?"

"You went to space, I swam a few times a week," Jillian smirked, "I'm certain you're in better shape than me."

"The road is no good for your health, corn dogs and beers are all fine, except when had at every event in a day, in a week," she said, "then it upsets the balance of things. I'm glad you mention the Presidential Race, I can't imagine I'm the first to seek your counsel."

“Space is about survival, smarts, and quick senses...much like politics eh?” she added with a smile.

“Ah yes, I’ve met with Diane Paulson thus far. A very nice friend of mine. Though I’m sure you’d have something to add to who she is to you. But please, enough of my rambling, what were you seeking from me?”

"Your support, join Eleanor, help elect a woman, a pragmatic, realistic, candidate to the Presidency," Jillian didn't mince her words, "we both know Levi Murphy will never win the White House, and would probably go wherever McGovern went. While Mike will compete in Arizona, and Florida, but he can't win the rust belt with his record. I'm the only candidate in the field who can bring an end to the warring Progressives and Moderates for the interim, expand the map enough and appease working Americans we're not going to dock their healthcare and guns in one single day."

"Thank you!" Holland smiled and guided Hypolite to his living room. He sat down in his chair and motioned for the senate candidate to sit across from him. "Would you like any tea or anything else?"

"Why thank you Governor Holland, I would love a cup of tea. I haven't drank anything since I left that Campaign Speech, I hope I'm not inconveniencing you any by coming here." Hypolite sits in the incredibly comfortable chair across from Holland.

"Thank you!" Holland smiled and guided Hypolite to his living room. He sat down in his chair and motioned for the senate candidate to sit across from him. "Would you like any tea or anything else?"

"Why thank you Governor Holland, I would love a cup of tea. I haven't drank anything since I left that Campaign Speech, I hope I'm not inconveniencing you any by coming here."

Holland nodded and brought Hypolite a cup, pouring some tea into it. "You can just call me John. I'm not quite Governor yet." He chuckled a tiny bit and sat back down.

"So what did you wish to discuss with me? I'm gathering it has something to do with your Senate race?"

"Why thank you Governor Holland, I would love a cup of tea. I haven't drank anything since I left that Campaign Speech, I hope I'm not inconveniencing you any by coming here."

Holland nodded and brought Hypolite a cup, pouring some tea into it. "You can just call me John. I'm not quite Governor yet." He chuckled a tiny bit and sat back down.

"So what did you wish to discuss with me? I'm gathering it has something to do with your Senate race?"

"Yes, you see John. I'm not the young man I used to be, don't get me wrong, I can still outrun an old man with a gun, but I haven't Campaigned in about nine years, so I was wondering if you could send an endorsement my way. I can still rally the citizens, I can still get the republicans behind me, but I'm just a bit concerned about the democrats coming to get me. You had a good bit of the vote which proves you appeal to both Republicans and some Democrats, and I think that democrat support could help me a hell of a lot." Hypolite sips his tea,

"I know the ways of the government, I was a senator and a representative for many years, but up until recently the far left was more moderate and not as Far. I I just think that it would be in both yours, mine, and the peoples best interest to team together."

Randy Cramp Announcement Rally

The stage was set. The lighting was positioned. Randy did not think that he'd be doing this for a second time this year. Originally, his plans were to run for the House or hold on a little longer and hope to get a Cabinet position in a Republican Administration. But the events that transpired in Texas were far too great and a new opportunity revealed itself. Frankston Senior announced that he would not contest the next election, leaving it an open seat. This changed Randy's course of action altogether, and with the announcement of Frankston Junior, it was a prime opportunity to announce. The campaign had looked into Frankston Junior, despite his youthful vigor, the campaign was looking forwards to tearing him apart. Like they did to Brookshire, but this time Randy has greater name recognition, grass-roots support and fundraising ability. All of these thoughts raced through Randy's time as the lights of the stag shone ahead. He started the walk to the stage. The campaign song blasted from the stereos as he took front and centre on the stage. Randy waved out. He was wearing plaid, jeans, a belt and boots, looking the real Texan part.

"Howdy, Texas! Howdy, Fort Worth!" He waved his arm in the air. On his shirt there was a Wolf 2016 Pin and an American Flag pin (more importantly). "The Liberals though they got rid of us, didn't they," Randy joked to the crowd. It responded gleefully in response. "They though that I - we - were gone after the jungle primary results, just a hair short of beating the biggest loser - Karen Brookshire - they thought they'd never see us or hear us again. Oh boy, how that got that soooo wrong!" The crowd cheered. "Now we're back, twice as big, twice as strong and twice as determined to fight and win for Texan Values: from the right to own a gun, to protecting the rights of the unborn, defending Christian rights against the Liberal Courts and putting a plug in the destruction of our industry. I'm ready to be your next Senator, Texas, all I need is the backing of you all to win the primary - then beat back whatever the loony Democrats throw at us this time!"

"First of all, let me address the elephant in the room to y'all now. I extend my thoughts and prayers to Senator Frankston who is facing some very difficult medical difficulties at the moment. I'm sure God is looking down on him at this moment and his service to Texas has been very appreciated. Trust me, Washington D.C. is going to hear the voice of Texas once again, like it has with Frankston representing us - if not louder. I'm an advocate, I don't pipe down when the bosses tell me to. They may tell me where to sit in the Senate, but ain't nobody tell me where to stand, that's for sure!" The crowd cheered. "The only people that can tell me where to stand are the people of Texas, all of y'all, our values, our principles, the good old Southern hospitality!"

"I'm not much into losing, really. When I run, I run to win. The same old politicians are lining up once again to anoint the candidate of the elite. They're already all lining up behind the baby Frankston, like they lined up behind Biggest Loser Karen Brookshire. It was probably staged, as soon as he walked onto the stage with his nice suit and combed hair the Governors immediately endorsed him! A bit suspicious, but they're already chosen their candidate. But Texas, I'd prefer if you made your own mind, and not fall for their tricks in electing the un-electable candidate. I've never met this young Frankston, he's probably nice in person, but is he going to lose the general? YES. Y'all, he is going to lose BIG. He's going to lose our amazing evangelicals, the guy is not going to win our Hispanic communities, maybe he'll do well in the suburbs - probably NOT. We don't want Texas to lose again, and we're going to win."

"What we need to be doing is simple. Getting what President Wolf ran on done. We've got to build the wall. We've got to defend the rights of Christians and protecting the constitution. I'm going to fight against any and all attacks on our second amendment rights, that includes their proposal to ban guns. In fact, we need to start teaching safe gun practices in schooling and begin to train and arm our teachers properly to defend our kids. We need to be supporting our police, increase funding and get more police on the ground to protect our communities from criminality. We've got to make sure the new radical measures towards abortion are squelched immediately! No more baby-deaths on our hands, no more baby-deaths in Texas or the entire country. Suraj Shah is all about that ... and sadly, he's our Senator, no thanks to Biggest Loser Karen Brookshire. That is why we cannot go back to electing these 'moderate Republicans', more like Red Democrats who lose our safe Republican seats!"

"Let's not forget our great Hispanic communities. The Democrats like to talk about them as if they own them, but they're not yours! Our great Hispanic communities in Texas are very evangelical, care about God, faith and country as I do. They do not like the fact that abortions are happening right across this state and country. They do not like the crime is allowed to run rampant by Democratic Mayors and Congresspeople. We're going to run a campaign for our evangelicals, for our conservatives, for our Hispanics, for our farmers. And we're going to WIN TEXAS. Thank y'all, see you around the state."

The Office of House Minority Leader Volker, Cannon House Office Building, Washington D.C.

After seeing the statement off to be issued to the media by his office, Volker sat in his chair for a brief moment as his mind drifted to the following year's House elections. Shortly after, he picked up the phone on his desk, usually he would never call his wife during the day, what with the two of them being flooded with work quite often, particularly within the past year. However, he thought it necessary to as a result of the day's circumstances. Consequently, the Congressman dialled in Torrie's cellphone number as he waited for the call to go through.

Two staffers immediately nodded at their boss and departed the room as soon as her phone had rung. It was her personal cell and unlike other calls, she has immediately stopped what she was doing to answer. Both of those details, while perhaps minor to others, had quickly been learned by her staff as meaning one thing: Thomas Volker was calling. And unless they wanted their futures jeopardized, they did not want to be caught eavesdropping on the powerful GOP couple. Torrie finally answered the call once her office door closed with a thud.

“Hello Thomas, everything alright?”

“Have you seen the recent news on Congressman Patrick? The man has just left the House Republican Conference.” Thomas said, his voice for the most part being predominantly plain with only a small hint of disappointment in his tone.

"If things go the way you say they will, with your support and Jillian’s in helping clear the path for me to the Senate seat right here, then I think that you can count on my support. Obviously I’d like to probably talk to my team before actually doing anything just yet since they deserve a say. And I hope that those who endorse me will have their promises honored to a degree to help them stay comfortable in crossing the threshold to endorsing Jillian in return. I want to look out for my people Tim, I’m sure you get that. But I think you can depart today to Washington with some good news for her. Though I’d love to have her call me too, especially in regards to figuring out a timeline.”

"That's perfectly fine, Martin, perfectly fine," Tim said with a smile, feeling like the chief reason for his mission had been at least partially achieved, "take your time, weigh your decision. That's what I did. And I'm sure that Jillian will also speak personally with you and give you more details. I just wanted to drop by to see what you're thinking, given we come from similar places, ideologically speaking."

The rest of the evening went by nicely; true to form, Dr. Spellman was an entertaining man to chat with, and after a few drinks and cracking some jokes at some other candidates' expense, Tim was ready to depart. "Well Dr. Spellman, it's been a great night, thanks for inviting me to your beautiful home. I've got a flight back to D.C. early tomorrow, before my return to Iowa, so I better get going."
