@JPJ4USA

At a time when the country is facing an unprecedented threat from a proto-nuclear power in the Middle East, a dirty fake news rag decides to churn up court cases from the 1990s in a twisted, poor representation of the facts to try to attack a Republican presidential candidate. There are far more important things on the nation's minds than an unfortunate episode at Triple C, but if the whole story is desired, then the whole story will be heard.

I only became the CEO of Triple C in 1990, after the death of my father. The system he operated did not meet the standards that we come to expect now, but the machine and culture at the company ran without any meaningful input from me. It wasn't until the crisis emerged that it came to my attention, and I was prompt in dismissing the managers responsible for disreputable practices at Triple C.

It was a painful episode for all involved, not least myself having to view my own father through the lens of a bad businessman, but I am proud for being able to respond to the crisis at the time, and make necessary improvements. I make no apology for petitioning to have the case sealed. Why? Because I wanted to protect the jobs that make the backbone of the West Virginian economy. She took a breath. This was not the plan at all, letting Richardson off the hook in the second debate, but if Paulson wanted her strategy to work, she might need it.

Porter Retail, Fort Worth, Texas

Porter got ready, ready for his last bout in Dallas. This was the fourth place he had visited in Texas. It was highly evangelical, another place which could be courted to keep pushing turnout high for himself and downballot candidates. The time was now, and Porter knew it.

He went to Fort Worth, handing out pamphlets, encouraging his supporters, and cleared several hours in his schedule for it. He had kept on going, hoping to ensure he won the state. He talked at length to people about the importance of moral government, continuing to nail in what he perceived as the positive moral character of himself.

Porter used every tactic he could to emphasise the need for moral government and for moral leaders, as unlike him, Prendergast and Richardson all had supposed moral failings that, whilst Porter did not need to mention, people would think of without necessarily him getting any flak if they found it offensive.

He kept on pushing on for the next few hours, spending his last days in the Dallas area to win over the citizens of Fort Worth and inspire more to go out and canvass for him, whether on the telephone, on the internet or on the streets...

Porter Retail, Abilene, Texas

Part number 2 - at the buckle of the Bible Belt. Abilene was a city, relatively smaller than the rest, but it was seen as a haven of evangelical Christianity, having 3 evangelical religious universities despite its population of 116,000. People considered it the buckle of the Bible Belt, albeit Porter saw Nashville as more fitting of the title. He marched along, wearing his grey jacket, pressed and cleaned, off to meet more people.

And so he did. He kept on going, knocking on every door. He had hoped to talk to as many people as possible - as was the definition of retail politics - and he did so accordingly. He took to his job with enthusiasm and stamina, ready for the long day ahead in order to ensure that his ally won. He knew he needed to do this for his campaign. It was of the utmost necessity that he did this, even as the debate grew nearer.

Speaking of the debates, Porter also continued to read up on the tactics of debate, watching online instructional, reading articles, doing whatever he could to prepare for the debate ahead, which he saw would make or break his campaign. He had his staffers who were back in Mobile conduct large trawls of research from all across the internet and in articles, ensuring to quote scientific studies or trusted institutions whenever possible, in order to lend Porter an air of credibility. They also did psychological analysis of the other candidates, ready for a full debate prep when he came back in.

But he wasn't coming back in, at least not yet. He knew that he needed to keep going, and so he did. He knocked on door after door, talking to all sorts of people. This was a particularly evangelical city, so he continued on his usual platform, encouraging his supporters to donate, to turn out and to canvass - whether on the internet, on the phones or on the streets. He also drew their attention to the call centres, which his campaign set up, ensuring to recruit as many people as possible and increase retention levels.

He kept on going for some more time, keeping his spirits up and encouraging others to go out themselves, sign up for Reddit, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, and to follow/subscribe/join the Porter camapign subreddit/Youtube Channel/Facebook/Instagram account. It was a way of being able to push an agenda. He also encouraged people to talk about it with their family, ready to keep expanding his base of supporters.

He then continued, driving on to Waco, ready for some retail...

Porter Retail, Waco, Texas

Waco was his next section. It was yet another growing evangelical city in the heart of Texas, along with Temple and Bryan. He had just arrived from Abilene, a place many saw as the buckle of the Bible Belt. He had arrived in Waco, conversing with supporters along the way, handing out pamphlets and generally encouraging people to turn out. He went on to go on the main event: the actual door-knocking. The door knocking was mostly to keep turnout and morale up: he could achieve much more with the call centres, but this was a rather primitive way of doing it.

Speaking of the phone banks, he had once more encouraged people to sign up for them, or otherwise volunteer, either to canvass in person or to join the social media presence of the Porter campaign. He needed this win, and so did other downballot candidates, which is why he kept on going. Of course, this wasn't all just for himself, he also used the time to promote support for downballot candidates. He answered hard questions, continuing the air of ernestsness of his campaign.

He knew that talking about himself, and his policies, would too lend a boost to his campaign: he had predicted a decent swing in Texas, which was the second-largest state of Super Tuesday, along with increased donations due to not just support, but also due to increased enthusiasm. In fact, this is what it was about: boosting enthusiasm. It was about boosting the spirits of as many people as possible. His campaign was one that ran on high enthusiasm, despite low polling numbers. Of course, he hoped the debate would change that, of course, but the reality of the situation was as it is in the present, not the future. The future didn't matter right now, only the reality of the situation right now, and the fact that he needed to win.

It was a constant push, as Porter had to balance the amount of people he saw and the time he spent with them. He had hoped to whip up more support for him, talking with passion, warmth and honesty, as was his usual style. He had also worn his grey jacket, hoping to ingrain it as a symbol of himself. He needed to not just stand out, but have a firm identity. This style, and the jacket, both did it. It was a decent-looking jacket, too, and the reason that he picked it out.

This was about popularising himself and assisting downballot candidates, and about nothing else. He had an eagle eye focus on the present, one that he maintained as he went on to Temple, the next town on the list...

Porter Retail, Temple, Texas

Temple was yet another growing evangelical middle Texas town, which he had hoped to target, as usual. Temple was relatively small, at around 76,000 people. it was smaller than both Waco and Abilene, which made it less targeted by other candidates, but Porter himself knew that it is was worth it. Every vote was necessary in such a tight race, and Porter was doing all he could. He expected himself to keep marching despite the debates nearing. The clock was ticking and he saw the time.

The time was now. The time was now to act, and so Porter took to the task with the same passion that he had with all the other retail politics events. It was one canvassing event after another, but he could do it. It was a majority female town, so he took to the streets with one of his main policies, one that would be sure to snatch some votes from Prendergast and Richardson: anti-pornography. He talked about banning the PRODUCTION of pornography - a point he emphasised when questioned.

He put this in line with his social conservative ideals: overturning Roe v. Wade, Obergefell v. Hodges and Windsor v. United States. For the closer-to-the-border cities, such as Houston and later San Antonio, he would emphasise border controls less, but this was one of the last cities (bar Bryan) where he did so. He talked about sex trafficking, child slavery and drug cartels crossing the border, making the border security issue less about racism and more about national security, something he hoped would neutralise him with minority voters, even if only to a small degree.

Speaking of national security, Porter also emphasises this part of his campaign, stating his loyalty to the country and talking about how the world was getting more dangerous, and about how a strong, moral government was needed to defend against the new threats of the world: ISIS, China, Russia...He talked about the need for a strong military, and strong foreign interventionist policies. America needed to protect her sons, and Porter conveyed that too.

He also talked about the need for someone with an extensive military and foreign policy background to defend the country. He talked about not only his extensive military background in Iraq (both in the Gulf War and in the the Second Iraq War), in Somalia (UNOSOM II, where he got his Medal of Honor and where he got much of his recognition through the film Black Hawk Down), Afghanistan (where he worked with Coalition Forces) along with the extensive cooperation with other NATO states during his time as Secretary of Defence.

Porter Retail, Bryan, Texas

Bryan. The last of the three middle-population evangelical towns. It was yet another relatively small town, with a population of 85,000. Still larger than Temple, but much, much smaller than Fort Worth, Dallas, Houston or San Antonio. Porter once again arrived there, first rounding up whatever few volunteers he could get, and giving them a motivational speech, some pamphlets and shaking their hands. It was short, it was swift, and yet it increased morale significantly, at least in his mind.

He was nearing the home stretch, and he could feel it. He took a short rest at a local hotel, and then kept going on. He ensured that he did the campaign speedily, but also deeply. He talked, for the final time, about the need for border control. Building the wall would make thousands, perhaps even tens of thousands of construction jobs in Texas, along with more in the supply chain and in the border patrol afterwards, along with keeping Texan families safe.

He once again emphasised the need for border security, talking about his usual points: sex trafficking, child slavery, drug cartels. He talked about how more people were enslaved than ever, and how he would do his best to combat child and sex slavery, both in the United States and internationally. It wasn't an issue many people cared about directly, but it was one with significant shock value. After all, who could support children being taken into slavery to be sold off as prostitutes?

Porter talked about these issues with sensitivity, as he knew that the shock value might turn against him if he did it too brazenly. He also brought an air of honesty, of sincerity to the conversation. It was a very sensitive topic, yet one that could register outrage if applied in the right quantities. He tried to be as cautious about the issue as possible, trying to justify the issue to those who were even immigrants themselves: this wasn't about xenophobia, he said, it was about keeping our children safe.

Porter, continuing to try and seem genuine, also sampled some local cuisine, and talked about his plans to cut corporate tax for small businesses, shifting the burden to large businesses. He talked about how he worked for the people, and that he was their candidate. And so were the other downballot candidates too. He did this not just for himself, but for the same downballot candidates too.

He then marched on, ready to go to his penultimate destination - Houston...

Porter Retail, Houston, Texas

Houston was a much different place than Dallas or Fort Worth - it was much more diverse, and as such he generally took a more cautious approach, even when talking to white evangelical voters. His rhetoric was much more calm, yet still remaining warm and ernest. He seemed more reasonable than passionate now. He had, in fact, out of strategic reasoning, dropped the border issue entirely, choosing to focus on socially conservative policies instead, such as overturning Roe v. Wade, Obergefell v. Hodges and Windsor v. United States.

He talked at length about how abortion and gay marriage were immoral, along with pornography. He had extolled the virtues of his allied downballot candidates, and had talked about both his moral character and his policies, encouraging everyone he met to vote for downballot Republicans . He talked about how they a loyal public servant, dedicated to helping the United States, as Porter was too. He had talked about how he had dedicated his life to upholding the law, to upholding morality.

Houston was particularly important, as it was a large city of 2 million people, yet still highly evangelical. Porter stepped away from issues of race, and entered a social conservative stance that even some minority voters could agree with. Of course, they probably still wouldn't vote for Porter himself, but he had hoped to build some level of warmth in order to ensure they don't turn out in droves in either in the general.

Porter had kept on marching, still eager, still enthusiastic. He had kept on building the spirit throughout his campaign, hoping to snatch a few votes whilst he was in town himself. He met with supporters too, and local supporter groups, rallying them in favour of him. This was, by far, the most important event of the election. He kept it about moral issues when in Texas, hoping to reel in more and more voters. Of course, his white-working class base up in the Midwest don't care about moral issues, but these people did.

It was this crowd of evangelical Christians and white Catholics that Porter hoped to keep on impressing, spending several hours in Houston, marching through the streets with his allies, encouraging people to support the Porter campaign, whether by volunteering or by donating. He had also reeled in people to go on YouTube, Facebook, Instagram and Reddit in support of Porter, as he got ready to march towards the final destination, and one of the most risky...

Porter Retail, Austin, Texas

And time for the final stretch, which was the one that, as Porter saw it, would reap the least fruit, yet still be worth it in the end. It was a booming, yet slowly Hispanising city. Churches were struggling to keep pace with population growth, and like Waco, Temple and Bryan, it was a heavily growing evangelical city. Porter had gotten ready, as he was eager to finally finish off his time in Texas. He had worn his iconic grey jacket, as usual, ready to finally finish this thing off for good.

He had marched into the city, giving out pamphlets to as many people as he could, along with talking about the issue. For a short time, he had set up a stall in the middle of the town, where people could approach him. It wasn't done for very long, but he did get several questions, and he answered them in the earnest, warm tone that his campaign had been doing for retail events much of the time.

As usual, he had avoided race issues, as it was a diverse city, after all. He had mostly talked about the immorality of abortion, of gay marriage and about the destruction of the American family. He had talked about how the nuclear family, the cornerstone of American society, was falling apart, and about how the country needed to restore traditional values in order to achieve the American Dream, prosperity and happiness once more.

He frantically kept going, hoping to swing as many votes as possible, not just for him, but for downballot candidates. He also talked about the porn ban, and about the danger it posed to the community and to children. He talked about how it was addictive, about how it destroyed marriages, families, communities, and was a symbol of the moral decline of American society. He was very strong on the issue, yet still calm. He talked about how he would ban the production of pornography if elected President.

He also, once again, extolled the virtues of moral government and moral leadership, talking about how he had fought for his country, discussing his time in the military, and talking about how such experience made him suitable for commander-in-chief. It was a very important thing that he did, allowing him to point out his clean record, compared to Amandagate and Prendergast's shadiness.

He also talked about his morality, about how he dedicated his life to serving the public, about how he dedicated his life to serve America and uphold the law. He also talked about how he was a defender of moral values, and one with a clean record, juxtaposed with the perceived moral failings of other candidates.

It was a long day, but Porter, at about 10pm, had finally finished, ready to take a long rest at a local hotel room, reading himself to sleep, before getting back to Mobile, fresh to prepare for the debate.

Just sad excuses coming from Governor Prendergast and his terrible attacks on the environment and against workers! Instead of hearing out his own miners, his own constituents, his own people, he talks up and down about Iran. Second Amendment March
Diane Paulson Speech

Diane Paulson was very, very excited. The electric energy of the pro-gun crowd had her revved up to bring in her pro-gun message for the people. Though Diane would stay brief and refrain from campaigning as much as simply pushing her agenda, she knew that this speech would kick off her appeal to America’s large bloc of single-issue gun rights voters.

”Just last month in Tennessee, the right to bear arms SAVED the life of a Nashville woman and five little girls. If Democrats had their way when it comes to your gun rights, six human beings would have died that night. A violent criminal broke into a mother’s home while her daughter was having a sleepover with friends, and the mom stopped him in his tracks with a shot that put the intruder in the hospital.”

“No party can claim to be the party of women’s rights without being the party that defends a woman’s right to bear arms. If Democratic Gun-grabbers had their way, five little girls could have died. No graduations, no weddings, no birthdays for them ever again. No starting a family of their own. Only death and misery at the hands of a monster. But a strong, gun-owning mother proved the value of the right to bear arms that night. Gun rights are paramount to our existence as a society, and without them, we will perish.”

“Gun restriction and prohibition is a threat to American life in so many ways, and it’s imperative that we not only STOP Democratic measures to take away guns, but also FIGHT BACK and expand gun rights.”

“Gun control is a threat to national security. The ‘militia’ referred to in the Second Amendment is the militia of the people, and the armed populace of the United States is intentionally granted this right to defend our national security. With tensions growing with Iran and around the world, it is so important that we uphold the right of the people to arm themselves. We have the greatest military in earth to protect ourselves, but the second line of defense, especially against terrorist cells in the United States, is the armed people.”

“Gun control is a threat to public safety. For every violent incident that gun-grabbers want to cite in their totalitarian quest to compromise American freedom, there are countless instances of responsible gun owners PREVENTING violence from happening. From the gun owner who stopped a mass shooting in a church in Texas, to the woman who protected her children from a home invasion as I mentioned above, it is clear that law abiding citizens should be able to defend themselves with guns.”

“Violent criminals don’t give a crap if a gun is illegal, they’ll still find a way to kill. While violent crimes are a problem, gun control is not a solution.”

“Gun control is a threat to individual liberty. As the honorable and decent gun rights advocate Mark Allen once said quite eloquently, the first domino to fall in the collapsing of our rights by an authoritarian, totalitarian government will be the right to bear arms. An unarmed populace has NO GUARANTEE that any of their other rights will be honored. There’s no enforcement there, a hostile government can do what it wishes if the people it governs cannot defend themselves.”

“I’m fed up with wishy-washy RINOs voting for Democratic gun control. And I’m fed up with others who only give a silent vote against gun control. It’s NOT a time for cowardice in the face of the ugly, despicable big government attempts to take away your gun rights. We must FIGHT BACK!”

“The way I’m fighting back is through BOLD pro-gun legislation. I have two bills in the docket in the House, one to extend concealed carry reciprocity to all states that honor the right to defend yourself with a concealed handgun. And another that REPEALS the unconstitutional Hughes Amendment, the exact law that Mr. Mark Allen was unfairly arrested on. The Hughes Amendment bans certain classes of guns in entirety, and gun bans are certainly unconstitutional.”

“The time to fight back is NOW! Thank you for coming out to the Second Amendment March, and standing up for YOUR rights. As one of the most devoted advocates for gun rights in America, it warms my heart to see so many people passionate about their Second Amendment rights. It’s time to say enough is enough to the Democrats on gun control, it’s time to take our country back!”

Dayton For President Retail & Rally
August 17th to 18th, 2019
New Hampshire

There was a need to maintain Dayton's rising support across New England and frankly, she was the only major candidate could had established a true foot hold in the area. For that reason, there was an immediate reason to help visit New Hampshire in the signature event. She was also invited by several local officials and there was a reason to heed the advice and calling of her local supporters in the state and region. For that reason, she came to the town's Old Home Days, specifically in Londonderry and in Nutfield. She arrived to begin reviewing the celebrations, joining in a number of cheers and sidelining parades, taking pictures with supporters and making sure to work the crowd during the event. She held her special Drinks with Dayton event both nights too, reserving sections of local pubs and breweries to speak to voters and outlined her political plans, though making sure to not overwhelm them, keeping everything light in terms of the holiday's spirit. She also made sure to tout her own political experience and made sure to set herself aside as a person who had accomplished things, pointing to her record as a reason to support her. As the following day celebrations continued, she also made time to address a crowd that she had rallied for a brief speech and stump on a stage decorated with patriotic designs.

"Hello New Hampshire and hello Londonderry! Local leadership here has never been stronger, I'm amazed at the strength our party has right here, right now. But our national leadership, that’s a different story. We can’t keep stumbling along with a President that decides things on a whim. Rather, we’re ready to give this country a shot at getting back on track! When looking to the future, we must remember the lessons of the past and of the present. As a Senator, I have taken these questions in hand, I have asked these questions, and I too have tried to answer these questions by writing legislation, by standing for American values. And the one question I keep getting asked that I’m still figuring out is how I believe the United States will look in future. I mean, take a glimpse at the history of Virginia's history, a state in the footsteps of Presidents Washington, Jefferson and Wilson. Three Presidents, Three Virginians, three Americans, all who presented such radically different ideas and all who were able to work within tough political climates. Sound familiar? Take Washington whose greatest idea was creating honesty and compromise in government, in this more than two-hundred year old American Experiment, in our United States.”

But now, the honesty, the truth, and the compromise in this country have been eroded in favor of belittlement and bigotry by our leaders. By our President. The future of the United States is now in our hands once again. Our future could be exciting or scary, hopeful or uncertain, bright or dark. Our future could be restoring the home of the brave and land of the free or repeating the mistakes of the past once again. Today, there are those who believe that the only way forward is by looking to the past, a past full of segregation, poverty, and war. But these are not real ideas or solutions that can solve our actual problems right now. The future of our United States is in our hands, it is in the hands of voters, of citizens, of all Americans. President Johnson spoke of a Great Society, President Kennedy inspired service above self-enrichment and President Roosevelt gave every American a New Deal.”

“Their ideas guided our nation, they fought for those ideas in the arena of ideas, not an arena of soundbites or personalities. It is in that history that I am reminded of the spirit of the American people, a spirit that to this day is the reason why we are a hardworking, just, and mighty people. I believe the time is now to put fairness first. Every American child born today, tomorrow or whenever should not have their fate decided by the mistakes or triumphs of their parents! It is unfair that multimillionaires buy their children’s admissions into Ivy League schools while those all other Americans must work hard to earn their keep! It is unfair that your zip code can determine your life expectancy! It is unfair that our veterans return to find themselves ignored by a system designed to prioritize their concerns! It is unfair that workers live paycheck to paycheck while CEOs accept bonuses to the tune of millions! It is unfair that voters can be packed into districts diluting their voting power!”

“It is our responsibility to put fairness first! Fairness in opportunity, fairness from the beginning, fairness for every American. That’s why I’m running for President of the United States, so that together we can speak up, and so that together we can put fairness first! Because when this campaign first began, it was on my kitchen table in Virginia. We knew we'd face headwinds, we knew we'd have ups and downs but we could have never predicted having support from every state so soon. But we proved ourselves wrong. Now, we do have supporters in every state, volunteers in every state and fellow Americans who believe that the next Generation of Americans deserve Fairness First. Fairness not in outcome, but in opportunity. Every American deserves the opportunity to succeed by their own merits, not by the credit cards of their parents. We are the richest country in the world but the fact that ordinary Americans are being squeezed for every dollar is wrong. The fact that millions of Americans cannot afford their life saving medicine, the roofs and walls of their homes, or barely attend their schools shows that this current administration has no aim, no goal and no objective. I say, let's give it a goal!”

“We used to wage Wars on Poverty not on the Poor. We used to measure our success by the fortunes of the most unfortunate, not the chances of the lucky ones. I don't believe that ending poverty in our lifetimes, in our United States of America, is impossible. I don't believe less pay in the pockets of working Americans should be accepted as impossible. No! I believe this can all change, that we can all make this possible. So join me, join my campaign, and together we can deliver Medicare for All who Want it, we can deliver affordable college now, we can deliver a better minimum wage, and we can put Fairness First!"

"Because when they ask you, what do you look for from your country, the answer should be simple. That this country preserves justice, empowers millions and represents ordinary Americans. That this country stands by its promise it may two-hundred plus years ago to be a government for the people, by the people. We are a campaign that exists off of the support of ordinary Americans. The receptionist working long hours, the factory worker aching for retirement, the student just wanting their degree, these are all components of our movement, our strength. A movement that isn't around to steal opportunity, but to allow it to flourish. I’m here to attain one simple goal. The humble goal of putting Fairness First. Fairness in healthcare, means medicare for all who want it! Fairness in education means expanding the option of college to all Americans not just those whose parents have the right numbers in the bank. It means freeing a generation to unleash their potential from the beginning. It means giving every student a world class education from day one!"

"When we pledge a promise to put Fairness First, it means delivering fair opportunities for success to farmers from Texas to Kentucky! It means delivering the option of affordable healthcare to every American in every state! It means looking after roads in the heart of Atlanta while giving attention to roads from here, in New York City to Des Moines. All of America, all of every state, deserves our attention and those of you here today are people who fundamentally believe that we can have a better America. The other party has spent its time dividing America, first with an unjust anti-women abortion banning streak, and now by allowing radical, bigoted voices into their primaries. But let’s clear up the blame right now. Because the issues we face today are because of the obstructionist incumbents, like the healthcare and education laws that our current President and this Senate tried to repeal, like the common-sense gun reforms that this current President and this Senate ignored, and like a voting right’s bill that the President himself vetoed all in a desperate bid to continue voter suppression to help his party.”

“But this party, the one I stand by, the party of Jackson and Jefferson, of Roosevelt and Kennedy and Johnson, of Carter and Clifford and Baharia, has always made the biggest difference in the lives of the American people when we led, not by polls, but by principle; not by calculation, but by conviction; when we summoned the entire nation to a common purpose, a higher purpose. That’s the party America needs us to be right now. A party that offers not just different policies, but different leadership. A party that doesn’t just focus on how to win but why we should. A party that doesn’t just offer change as a slogan, but real, meaningful change, change that America can believe in.”

“Putting Fairness First needs us to explain not how we'll make it law, but why we should. Delivering fairness requires the first change to come to how we choose our politicians, preventing politicians from carving out voters to secure their own futures is the first step. Because voters should choose their elected officials, the politicians shouldn’t be choosing their voters! It’s why I wrote the FAIR Act to start a conversation and start a change. But that’s just the first step. From there, introducing ranked choice voting like in Maine for all federal offices, is the next, to ensure that all voters can feel represented and have faith in who represents their community. Only after we fix the system can we even stand to deliver affordable college as I did in Virginia, or deliver medicare for all who want it, or offer all Americans a fairer minimum wage and square trade policy. But I can't do this alone. Its why I'm thankful to have the support of so many Americans from those in the Big Apple to those who grow apples."

“Putting Fairness First isn’t just a slogan either. It’s what led my message during my first terms in Congress, it’s what led me to become Governor of Virginia. It’s why I'm a Senator fighting for Virginia, why I’m running for President, and why I’m championing this positive vision for Johnson City, for Kingsport, for Bristol, and the state and country as a whole. There's no doubt that the next few weeks and months will prove pivotal. In my time in the House, I’ve emulated the values that Americans believe in, values like empathy, diversity and sincerity. Compare that with the unintelligible babbling from those across the aisle and it's clear who should serve as our country’s commander-in-chief. We've all seen the despicable rashness of bigoted candidates and we know we can represent a different side of that coin, of that America. Together, we can present a better America, we can be a voice for this diverse country, we can make our present day the emblem of the next generation of America. Pragmatic, sensible change that makes healthcare accessible to all of us, that makes our suburbs and schools give every student the opportunity to succeed.”

“I have delivered for Virginia. And I know we can deliver for America. In fact, I characterize this entire campaign as one built around on our shared dream of a better America. Republican or Democrat, we all agree the healthcare system needs fixing. We all agree that schools need improving. We all agree that our trading relationship worldwide does not work for all Americans. We all agree that not enough of us have a secure, good paying job. We all agree that roads, bridges, and buildings in all fifty states are in a desperate state of inattention and disrepair. We all agree that every American deserves the opportunity to flourish, to excel, to build a better life for themselves and their families. That is the goal I am committed to. The goal of building jobs and opportunities for all Americans, not just the wealthiest 1% of us. Of ensuring that nobody goes bankrupt because of medical bills. Of making sure that no students are disadvantaged because their parents lived two suburbs over where the schools weren't as good, or because they couldn't afford textbooks or materials. Of keeping the promise that no teacher forfeits any part of their salary to offer classrooms scissors and pens.”

“That goal is not some far-fetched dream of think tanks or hopeful aspiration held by some, but one we all share. It was espoused by President Roosevelt in the wake of the New Deal. It was reiterated by Senator Ted Kennedy’s fight for affordable healthcare for all Americans. It was repeated by Martin Luther King, and some decades on, is the fight we continue today. The fight to eradicate all that disadvantages Americans but their own fighting spirit and merit. We cannot claim to be the Land of Opportunity, if that opportunity can be yanked away from you by your ZIP Code, or your employer slashing your healthcare. We cannot be the Home of the Brave if we cower from science and the truths which permeate. In this election there is but one pursuit. A better America. Too many Americans work casual, insecure jobs which pay barely minimum wage. Too many Americans are struggling with medical bills. I have not given up the ghost on better schools for all. Better hospitals for all. Better jobs and opportunity, for all. An America where we finally put Fairness First! Thank you so much New Hampshire and happy Old Home Day!”

As Dayton finished her rally, she allowed local politicians and others to speak too in the spirit of helping show her commitment to the down ballot races and not just the presidential race. She returned to the day's festivities and rubbed elbows with regular Americans, speaking to them kindly and only bringing up the race when she wanted to do so. She also made the rather uncomfortable visit to a local service in the town and made sure to catch a number of church goers as they left. Dayton then also made sure to focus on working class individuals, visiting a number of booths set up by local businesses as well as making sure to just outright focus on small businesses too. And for the few college aged people and families with older kids, the senator focused on her education plan to pitch to them. As the celebrations wrapped up and her own retail could not be extended further given that this was first and foremost a holiday, she retired on the last day back to a plane and ready to hit the campaign trail again.

@JPJ4USA

Attacking mining on bitter, ideological grounds is the preserve of Democrats like Abigail Winthrop.

I shouldn't be the story today. The story today should be how our country has been attacked, yet again, by a vicious foreign aggressor that needs to be stopped. Sadly, the news media, corrupt as it is, has got its priorities back to front. Makes you wonder if American Sentinel is really all that American when it comes down to it!

Spellman, fresh from visiting Caroline Simone in the morning, arrived to meet with the fresh-faced primary challenger. She seemed nice and progressive, yet it was hard to shake off who her partner was and it raised doubts about her true progressive nature. He stepped into her office and awaited to be led into her office.

Tracey appeared out of her office and proceeded to walk over to Spellman.

"Mr Spellman," she said as she raised out her hand. "So glad to finally meet you. If you follow me, I'll take you back to my office and we can chat in there." Tracey said as she began to lead Spellman into the smaller backroom office. She indicated to a seat for him to sit on while she went on to her cupboard filled with unbranded drinks.

"Do you want anything to drink?"
