Obviously I don’t support that it’s just the way it is, unless...” He paused. “There was a way to make the ticket more appealing to Ohioans.”

"Language is fine, Senator, this is all too serious for us to be concerned with our manners. I'd rather you were blunt with me." She smiled softly, listening to what the other with a nod. "You want me to put a good word in with Jillian to pick you for the Vice Presidency, I take it. Aren't you worried that your seat would end up in the hands of the GOP?" This wasn't meant at all as an attack, just a neutral question. "What do you think about Murphy's chances?"

She asked.

"I'll make myself available to you somewhere nice and industrial then." There was an audible grumble when he heard what Richardson had said though. "I've made no secret of my disapproval of Lilyana's performance as Chair of the Republican National Committee, but I've otherwise been a staunch advocate for women in the party. I worked my ass off for Misra in Kentucky and he was a no show. I've always tried to be there for you. I've stuck up for Merriam against Burgun's infantile sniping. I endorsed that fucker and even now, he tries to tamp a nail in my foot." Shaking his head, he exhaled sharply. "Sorry. But no, I don't think women belong in the kitchen. Well, I mean, if they want to go there, that's another thing, but I'm really quite liberal at heart about the subject. Republican women are the future of the Party, Eliza. I mean it."

“It was depend how much of an asshole the governor is.” He joked. Right now Jack Vichter is running to become Senator. I’ve endorsed him and I know he’s a real fighter for Ohioan workers. Obviously he’s not running for my seat but he’s still running to secure a seat that frankly, I think he’ll win depending on the top of the ballot. I don’t think the Governor could insult the people of Ohio that blatantly and appoint a Republican right after the people of the state elect a Democrat. But then again, when have Republicans cared what the average person has to say? Anyways, I think Levi has a strong chance in the general against either candidate. Him against the Secretary would likely be a tossup but he would kill Richardson easily in the state.”

"Make no mistake, Senator, I'm convinced the Governor would appoint a Republican in your stead. But obviously I want us to take the Hawthorne seat, no doubt about it." She hums softly, nodding in understanding at what the other had to say. The factfinding was useful. "So you're not at all of the opinion that our candidates have any particular and obvious weaknesses? There's no doubt in their ability to stay the course?"

Day 2 of Hypolite Gaspards Mass Campaign Tour

Bossier Parish, Louisiana

Hypolite Gaspard
February, 2020

Image

Hypolite Gaspard, after a wonderful rest, went back on his Mass Campaign Tour around Louisiana, he ended up in Bossier Parish where he gave an enthusiastic speech.

"Hello, Bossier Parish! Wonderful to be here with all y'all fine folks. I've just left a local church, a wonderful pastor, and a wonderful congregation. I just wanted to say that I've got a plan, I've got a big plan. I tell you this because recently my campaign has been criticized for being all yap and no bite. Well here is my yap and bite when it comes to crime. Criminals have a choice, they have a choice to do good or bad, and they should have consequences." There was applause here,

"These criminals, like the one executed under Governor Misra, have a choice, they don't have to murder, they choose to. Should these criminals be allowed to go free to the public? To roam the streets, and prowl at night looking for their next victim? I say NO! The people of Louisiana say NO! I will never support ending capital punishment or the death penalty."

"Democrat Washington Elites don't care about the common man, they aren't thinking of the common man when they oppose capital punishment. Common folk, like you or me, are afraid of those criminals who rob, mug, and rape our wives, our children, and hurt our families. I'm sick of people saying, "We don't need guns, they cause so much death and destruction." and at the same time they say, "We don't need capital punishment or life sentences, we need to help criminals." AS LONG AS these criminals who murder, rob, rape, and mug, are allowed to go free, I will have my goddamn gun by my side to protect me and my family!" There were many cheers here

"If the Democrats would've let Wolf secure the Border, we wouldn't have as many druggies roaming our streets. Secure the border, bring more jobs, secure our nation and we'd be fine! How come Democrats don't want to do that? They don't want to secure our nation. If they did they would've let Wolf do what he wanted, in the interests of all of us. Some people don't have fancy homes with security guards like Crazy Karel, people like him ain't got no need for a weapon, he got people to protect him!" Many boo's came here,

"I know right? Do you have someone to protect you? The police can only do so much with the so little funding that they were given under President Baharia and Governor Long. The Democrats had a shot at fixing our country and they BLEW it, I ain't got the slightest idea what makes them think they can do any better with Bad JuJu Jill who put her state in debt, or Loco Levi, who's as nuts as a chipmunk." There were laughs and applause here,

"Let a REPUBLICAN lead the country and continue Wolf's legacy, let a REPUBLICAN get into the Senate and help our president fulfill his promises. Some might ask, "Hey HG, what makes you better than your opponents?" I say this, I've got a family, I've got a True Conservative outlook on things, and I'm a God-Fearing Catholic." There was much applause

"Can my opponent say his Rosary prayers? No. Can my Republican tell y'all what he's done in the past to help out the nation? No. Can my opponent, honestly, show his Legislative History? No. The people of Louisiana, know me. You know me, I campaigned here back in the 1980s and I won. Why did I win? Because I am a True Conservative, a True Southerner, and a True Louisianan. Remember that when you go to the polling places, and cast your ballots! Thank you, Bossier Parish, and God Bless! Take care!"

“I’ve met with him. He’s fairly solid, talks good on trade and preventing future wars. His main opponent as of now is literally partially behind the Iraq War. I’m fairly confident he’s got a damned good chance.”

"I'm glad the Senate logjam's starting to clear. It's so indecent how slow things move up there. I'm glad we're moving on RAISE, and DHKA will be up soon." She hummed with a frown, shaking her head. "Murphy is the big problem. Vichter can't afford to be too much of a problem considering his state. Ohio is very different from Minnesota. Closer to Pennsylvania. I think he can be reasoned with and we need the seat, Karel. Any other concerns are secondary there." She hums again, looking out of her window over the vast expanse of Washington DC. "Spellman, I think, you're misreading. I've dealt with Spellman. He's crafty, but he knows the rules of the game. His fights will be behind the scenes, not in public. Do I like that, necessarily? No. But I respect that he respects the Party. But you're right that Murphy out of office could be even more dangerous than Murphy in office."

“Hmm... perhaps I’ll just have to see how Vichter conducts himself in the future. Spellman... Spellman respects the party, certainly, but I’ve learned that his advisors were considering backing a primary challenge for my seat- as well as yours. They wouldn’t have talked like that if they didn’t think Spellman would jump at the opportunity. I’ll have to keep a close eye on him once he gets here. And Murphy? Don’t get me started... I feel like I have to move heaven and earth just to get him to do the smallest things- like apologizing to his colleagues for that mess over Iran.”

Karel took another sip of water before continuing.

“So I’ve decided to come up with a bill that’ll be an incentive for him to behave. And for the other would-be troublemakers to see that I’m willing to work with them if they’re willing to work with me. I have anti-trust legislation in the works that I intend for the progressives to write up, and I’d like to have your support for it.”

Levi Murphy Online Advertisements
Targeted towards African-American voters in South Carolina

[Voice of an African-American]

"Jillian Dayton often asks us to judge her by her record. Let's do just that."

Image

"As Governor of Virginia, she oversaw some of the highest rates of African-American deaths by police in the entire country."

Image

"In Dayton's Virginia, 49% of all police killings were African-Americans, despite only constituting roughly 20% of the population."

Image

"Their punishment in Dayton's Virginia? A slap on the wrist."

Image

"Is that the kind of record you stand by, Dayton?"

Scathing advertisement from Mr. Levi Murphy targeting Jillian Dayton and her lack of effort towards the African American community. Is this just a smear tactic from a man who has also done little to nothing for the African American community? We'll see when the voters of South Carolina vote in the Primary.

I will say, the African American communities have been tilting towards Mrs. Dayton, but anything can happen between now and the primary.

I don't think my friend Levi Murphy should be attacking unionized blue collar professionals like law enforcement officers and I hope he makes a course correction soon - whomever was responsible for that ad should be fired! Policemen aren't killers!

"I think Spellman's staff are jumped up idealists. But the man himself isn't a pigheaded idiot. Once he's elected in Oregon, we'll have him over for dinner." She smiled softly, clearly quite calm about that. "Anti-trust'll sweep through the House, Karel, no problem."

The implication that Dayton had complete control over the situation with black police killings in Virginia in Murphy's latest ad just because she was the Governor is ridiculous. Governors don't have direct control over everything, we don't live in a dictatorship.
