Six of Hell most powerful demons, went up to Earth possessed a human with the plans to create half human, half demon offspring known as Hellborn. With this offspring the scale would be tipped in Hell's favor, lead Hell's armies to the gate of Heaven, and destroy them once and for all.
The Hellborn were all born on December 25, 1997 at All Saint's Hospital in New York City at 6:06:06 AM. The plan was all 6 of them would be taken from the hospital, and train to use their abilities and be proficient leaders for Hell's Army. But call it Divine Intervention, though Heaven denies claims to it, all 6 were lost each going their separate way to different parts of the world. Hidden from Hell's and even Heaven's view, but with only a peculiar birthmark signifies their demonic heritage, the symbol of their true parents.
For sixteen years the Hellborn have lived their lives unaware of their true nature, their real parents, all adopted all from different walks of life. Until their own sixteenth birthday, Christmas Day. Receiving a mysterious letter inviting them to prestigious academy in NYC, all tuition and fees paid for to St. Agnes Academy.
Of course with an offer like that who wouldn't want to take it...

All Hellborn have super strength not to lift a car over their heads but easily subdue alot of humans without breaking a sweat.
They have incredible stamina, and are immune to earthly diseases, drugs and alcohol have very little effect unless consuming in humongous quantities
They can perceive demons in their true forms while they are possessing a human excepted for their own parents.
Each Hellborn as a unique ability granted because of their lineage, depending on who their demonic parent is.
Hellborn do not have the weakness of most demons, they are immune to holy water, churches etc
They unfortunately are not bulletproof, they have a human body but have a very high pain tolerance
They have a telepathy of sorts, they can hear people surface thoughts and perceive their sins.
