Like, I've got a whole list of Democrats to invite to Merriam's new 'Gang' but no Republicans. She would have invited Frankston but he's leadership.

That's American politics for you. Only 4% of Americans are libertarians and 23% of people who identify as libertarians have "little to no understanding" of libertarianism.

It's a movement with massively inflated numbers, due to much of that 4% being powerful, or at least well-educated and wealthy.

Maybe not as low as 4%, but I certainly think the "20% of Americans are libertarians" bullshit is made up, or at least rigged to be that way.

That would work too. Maybe I’ll do Not-Gardner, since he could be a part of the Senate “moderate” faction, and fill the void in Colorado. Plus, interesting re-election fight in November.

I think Xath’s character was going to be a candidate for a seat though, not an actual sitting politician.

Why are we feeding Donaldson information about California, does he already know about that?

That'd be great! Just remember that "moderate" doesn't mean "libertarian". Look to Susan Collins, or Olympia Snowe, rather than to Rand or Ron Paul.

Because Donaldson wants Holt to spy on Douglas and Simone.

@The Orion Islands, would Senator Colbert be interested in a Gang of 14-like group to moderate and return cooperation to the Senate?
