The Shadows Isles. Realm of the horrific and a plague of evil on all of Runeterra. Filled with scores of spectral monstrosities who torment any who set foot on its shores. From the soul snatching Chain Warden, the fearsome centaur-like leader of the ghostly Iron Order and the mysterious Ruined King who sends his Harrowing to plague the outside world once a year. It is a place no mortal should dare set foot. For dying on the Isles leaves ones soul forever bound to it, doomed to roam in undeath like so many before them. Unfortunately for a few, staying away is no longer an option.
A group of people are about to awaken in the deepest parts of the Isles. An assortment of the unlucky from the various regions of the globe, tossed into the spectral Hell that is the Shadow Isles by unknown means. How they arrived there can be solved later. What matters now is these radically different people must work together to escape. Or be trapped there forever.
