Supposedly it will reverse global warming, but I'm not so sure it works like that. Either way, it seems like it is going to cause some desertification or something like that.

Well, if It's against Shannonism, then my government may be interested, so long as it allows eco-fascism intertwined with rampant nationalism mixed in with just a pinch of good old fashioned great lakes racism.

So probably what's going to happen is I will find a way to have a cargo plane or bomber drop an unmarked drone or launch a missile to take out the production plant in the North, or take out its delivery system.

Quebec is very antiracist/tolerant of others, so if the Greatlakes/Uppercanada joined, that'd also be Realpolitik (since the Quebecois peoples themselves don't condone racism)

Although Christinists are environmentalist, they wouldn't condone/okay what the Nordes did. (to explain/further explain why I think they'd be upset)

Futurists, Accelerationists and other Technocrats/Technocrat sister-ideologies have a very weird aesthetic. Some Futurists and Accelerationists would cheer over the Nordes doing what they've done, but they'd be a superminority amongst the Duopoly.

London Republic's aesthetic reminds me alot of Alita: Battle Angel. That kinda would make things complicated, since Quebec'd try to ally, but their aesthetic is more Star Wars/Star Trek or Futurama/The Jetsons than anything.

Racial-wise, how are Asians treated in the Greatlakes? I assume they wouldn't be treated that well, but since they have white skin, I would think they'd (ironically/hypocritically) be accepted by the average Laker.

The Asians are treated better than the blacks in that they're not "from africa". Though there is a lingering "Yellow Peril", It's mostly only among top ranking government officals and about 1 in every 3 white people. They view the asians as criminals and snake oil salesmen/not very trustworthy. It's also based on the hatred of shannonism, with the very loose association by far right wing groups (such as the main two political parties and their overall voting bases) of a long since dead governor of Oregon who was a chinese-american to be viewed as a threat.

Paradoxically, however, miscegenation laws exempt only homosexuals (and only male) from marrying or cohabitation with a Caucasian.
The association with criminal gangs has it's truths, with many poor asians within the Great Lakes being recruited into street gangs and giving the local Constable law enforcement a hard time.
