"The Polarian Commonwealth"- Continued usage of the blue-and-white flag, as the flag doesn't represent DemSoc or RevSoc, but is just a generic "Hey, we're not Monarchist anymore!" banner. Note that Orange represents Royalty and other things dealing w/ Monarchism.
- Dual capitols (Lisbon and Valois)
- Oligarchy status; both execs are now leaders.
- The other political figures of both Polarian and Portuguese govt's are pooled together.
- Democratic Socialist and Polarian Progressive Union statuses are in question, as Socialism seems like it has failed Polaria and the Polarians keep trying to reconfigure the system in the name of Identity Politics. The State was officially "colorblind," and didn't see any differences in the ethnicities in Polaria, though just grouped them all together as "Polarian."
- Religion is left up to the Commonwealth States; no one can truly say the Commonwealth is Secularist, Secular Pagan, or a religious duality with the Christian-Catholics.
- Which means that also the Commonwealth is neither Venusian, Athenian or Minervan. This also means that there'd be no state sponsoring of the Venusian Church, and also the many different ways to worship one's patron deity.
- The autonomous regions of The Azores, Balearic Islands, and the Canary Islands will lose their autonomous statuses; they will now be full states in the Commonwealth.
- Since Polarian China, Italy and Africa are full parts of Polaria, they'll also be Commonwealth States.
- The Commonwealth has no right over the monopoly of how Pagan deities are depicted, meaning that creative liberties will be left to the States themselves and also the citizens of said States.
- The 'commune' level shall be abolished, as it is too small a level to work with. 'Township' will be the smallest it can get inside of a State.
- The Polarian and Portuguese constitutions will be combined, and all diplomatic relations also combined aswell.
- The Portuguese green-yellow-orange cross will still be flown, however, as a diplomatic flag. The Polarian flag is the National and Official flag. Macau and other named areas of Polaria will keep their flags.
Alicia examined the proposition.
"Seems good to me, but what about the official language? Or is that left up to the Commonwealth State?" Alicia asked.
She was on the phone line w/ Valorie.
"Well, we wouldn't have an official language." Valorie said over-the-phone.
"So what language would our legal documents, addresses, orders and whatnot be in?" Alicia asked.
"Okay, so, we just use Polarian as the one-size-fits-all, or the Lingua Franca, since essentially Portuguese is a pigeon-tongue of Polarian, no offense." Valorie answered.
"None taken; that's actually true. I just don't want this to look biased towards Polaria." Alicia told.
"It won't be, Portugal's getting alot from this, or atleast the Commonwealth States formed from it." Valorie responded.
"Well, hopefully, when everything's all said-and-done, we can gain more bargaining chips than just Madagascar." Alicia replied.
"They just offer us food and animals. Frankly, I don't see the point in having an agreement with someone when they're not giving you what you need. We're trying to focus on full urbanization. We'd need Iron, Titanium, Steel and other metals to make that happen; to make more buildings. Oil's pretty-good, I won't dismiss Oil; that's pretty-much how we were beating the French at the Car Industry, but now they're adapting and competing with us, which is also good." Valorie told.
"That's essentially Calvary and Animal Warfare. We Iberians, and dare-I-say-it,
Polarians could do better. Heck, we oughta be doing better." Alicia stated.
"We think that France was dogwhistling to fascists; to say 'You have a huge population, but not enough landmass, howsabout you takeover some land?' " Valorie said.
"I don't know. I just hope we don't go to War." Alicia replied.
"I don't want war either, Portugal or Polaria. We're just focusing on Security and Peace." Valorie agreed.
"We need to put more money where our mouth is, and speaking of Monies, what will we do about Currency? Do we combine the Dinero and the Guilder or do we have currencies for Commonwealth States?" Alicia asked.
"Well, we'd go with the Former. The latter sounds like Anarchy. We need to have a stable - and unified economy. Hopefully all of this would give us a leg up." Valorie answered.
Alicia laughed.
"Which is why you'd need to quit Socialism." Alicia said.
"I know. Sadly, it was only a means to an end. It didn't work, no matter what we did. We're a Progressivist society anyways. Socialism is holding us back. Let's just be proud that we didn't go full Communist-Socialist." Valorie agreed.
"The Polarian Vision is working though. We'd need more cities." Alicia stated.
Valorie agreed.
"So, when do you want this to be ratified?" Alicia asked.
"Take as long as you'd want. No rush. We already are having issues with the English, so that may delay us for some time." Valorie answered.
'Anything else you'd like to say?" Valorie asked.
"Yeah, sure, girl! I found that part about France and the Ratcatcher to be hilarious!" Alicia cheered.
"...I do not claim to be perfect - nor do I claim to know everything. But, I do know enough to understand that when you have a rat in your restaurant you call a rat-catcher and not the clown! We, my fellow French citizens are the rat-catcher. But instead of doing the right thing and calling us, they called the clown - the UK..!" ~ French President Coty
"I need to visit France someday." Alicia thought-aloud.
"Well, Elena's going to Lille, as-we-speak." Valorie told.
"Sounds good. I hope everything works out. Also, you may need to increase your security and guards. This is no joke. They're trying to destroy us from the inside, that's why I had to start strongmanning and acting Populist with my black dress on!" Alicia shouted.
Valorie laughed.
"Populism sounds good. I just don't want any Nazi or Fascist accusations. At this point, I'm done with these fools insulting us. They need to shut up - and for good." Valorie told, getting serious.
"Mhmm, girl. They think we're all about Rhetoric and Jokes, but we're serious. We will actually join the Warsaw Pact. We just need one more insult hurled our way." She continued.
"Oh yeah. I forgot to ask about the PPU. So, what we're going to do is, we're going to have to bust them since they're a political monopoly, and thus 'too big to fail.' That'd give us so many political parties and movements, but that's alright." Alicia said/asked.
"We can do that, that makes sense. Plus, we need to root out some of this lobbying and colluding nonsense. I feel like something's up." Valorie said.
"Well, that is it, y'all! Buh-bye!" Alicia declared the ending of the phone meeting.
'Bye!" Valorie said.
She'd slam the telephone down, it'd then auto-hangup.
