"Is it verified?" Asked his superior.

"Unfortunately yes." The intelligence offier sighed.

"Take it to the President. Now!" The superior demanded as the officer ran off to complete his task.

The officer ran down to the lot of cars used by the SDECE and got into a Citroen Traction Avant. He stepped on thegas and raced away towards the Elysee palace. This message was a mater on national security, and time was of the escense.

"This is outrageous!" Prime Minister Queuille yelled.

"Clearly the Canadians are missguided. The 'colonies' they search for are now departments of France." President Auriol sighed.

"And hence an attack on any French soil will elicit an American response." Foreign Minister Schuman said.

"And then this fort offer is commical." The prime minister stated.

"Well yes. I don't think they realise that 10,000 francs is only $300." The foreign minister replied.

"So what do we do know?" Asked the president.

"We have some letters to write." The foreign minister said as he grabbed a typerwritter.

Any attack on French soil will elicit not only a French response, but also a response by Imperial America. Do not underestimate Frace. Desite all the destruction WW2 brought, we've rebuilt our military quite well, and our navy is more than able to deffend from foreign agression. Jack MacDonald was worried, angry, and mad.

"WHAT THE HELL MICHAELS!!!" he shouted. The Captain just stood there with his head down.

"BEING MY NAVAL ADVISOR, YOU SHOULD HAVE KNOWN BETTER TO SELL A FORT TO THE FRENCH!!! AND YOU DON'T KNOW HOW THEIR CURRENCY WORKS?! YOU ARE FIRED!!!" the PM screamed.

The Captain nodded, took his hat off his head, and left the office. MacDonald just breathed heavily and tore up the French Telegram. He still however had the problem of the spy that recorded his speech about invading France's Colonies. He was aiming to find the spy and kill him. As for Michaels, a trip to the labour camp for 40 years would come to him. Just to be sure France didn't declare war, he sent a telegram.

He decided MacDonald went too far with his threats when a news report about the kidnapping of the 120 Quebecois came on the new days ago. He flew to Iceland for his break and sailed to France. He delivered his tapes of MacDonald talking about an Invasion of France to a French Informant. Now he waited for a declaration of war. And then Canada, and MacDonald, would deserve what they had done to his kind.

We have no need for "safe" access to the Artic. And your fighter planes are unecessary. The French aviation industry is capable of making it's own planes to suppot the French military. As when it comes to the wood and iron, do you think we're incapable of making such basic goods or growing trees? And 5000 Francs, this is a joke right? That's less that before and for no reason either.

The best course of action is for Canada to cease discriminating against the Quebecois people and cease the threats against the French nation. Any further threats, especially threats of force will be met with force. As of such, a travel ban and embargo on the sale of goods to Canada is effective immediately. no French flaged vessels or aircraft may dock in Canadian ports. The next threat may very well be a step to far.

"Sir, are you sure you want to do this?" asked MacDonald's Secretary Liam Matilda

"I will return next fall," replied the Prime Minister ingoringly.

"I don't understand. Why do you have to go?" Matilda asked again, trying to keep up with his Leader's pace as he walked faster to the jet.

"I already told you, I could be in danger. The French, Americans, who ever that damn mole is, the Mafia, the Danish, AND the Quebecois are threatening me. I have to go!" he replied as he walked ahead of Matilda, who just stopped.

"Who's in charge again?" Matilda shouted.

About to board the plane, MacDonald replied, "Minister Tyler, of course."

"Who's after that?'

"You are!" the Leader replied as he closed to door of the plane and the motor started. The plane stuttered, ran the ground, and flew into the gray sky to the Soviet Union for asylum. Matilda turned around, ordered the guards to move out, and walked back inside. He remembered what his Leader said. Don't threaten, work behind the shadows, and catch the mole. As he walked to the jeep, he remembered the final thing. Don't tell anyone about the missiles. It echoed in his head as he whispered it.

January 21, 1949

The streets of Moscow were empty and silent as the armoured limousine pulled into the courtyard of one of the Kremlin's outlying administration buildings. Although Stalin often liked to watch the people and officials hard at work during the day, he had called a special session of the Council of Ministers at night to deal with the issue of the Americas as soon as possible. Besides, this time of night, there couldn't be any assassins in the streets without being spotted and arrested by the MGB.

Stalin stepped out of his car and, escorted by two MGB men, made his way into the building. He couldn't help but notice the increased amount of military activity around the Kremlin, brought on by the military operations in Mexico and the increased threat of a global war. Stalin supposed that the courtyard would soon house an anti-aircraft gun as defenses were brought into the city.

As he approached the conference room, Stalin noticed some quiet chatter, but it disappeared as soon as he stepped into the room. Stalin sighed. They were all useless, spineless cowards, but at least the ministers knew when to shut up and take orders. Stalin took his seat at the head of the table. The ten or so heads in front of him watched expectantly.

"So, I trust you've all read your briefings," Stalin stated flatly. "The Canadian head of state has fled here and has requested asylum for fear of an assassination attempt. Coming on the heels of the recent agreement to begin constructing an airfield in Canada? This reeks of an imperialist coup. Beria?"

Lavrentiy Beria, the head of the MGB, cleared his throat. "As far as we know, Comrade General Secretary, there is some evidence for threats to the life of the Canadian, but no advanced plots. Unfortunately, with the rocky relations between Canada and the Americans, these plots could be supported by the Americans, maybe as a way to install a friendly regime there."

"Thank you, Comrade Minister," Stalin replied. "I have ordered the deployment of regular units to our airfield site in Canada to protect it from possible hostile spies, but I also want the MGB to use this unrest to step up its intelligence operations inside the Canadian government."

"Yes, Comrade General Secretary."

"As for the Americans, it appears as though they have just tested an atomic weapon in the Pacific Ocean. The Defense Minister-" and here Stalin gestured to General Aleksandr Vasilevsky- "has informed me that, in the event of an immediate invasion of our Mexican ally, the Mexican military would not be able to overcome the challenges posed by the use of multiple atomic weapons, even with Soviet aid at its current levels. As a result, I propose that the Soviet Union sends more troops and advisors to Mexico to help protect against a possible American ground invasion. The government there has granted us permission to construct a base, and I see no reason to not use it, perhaps to help establish a strong air defense network. All in favour?"

Every hand in the room went up. There had been no question they wouldn't, not when Stalin had proposed it.

"Good. Comrade Defense Minister, see that that happens. Now, as for this business with the Bering Strait, I believe you had something to say, Comrade Defense Minister?"

"Vasilevsky took a second to sort his notes before speaking. "The Soviet Navy has been attempting to secure a warm-water port for some time now, and the Canadian government has recently offered to give us land along their east coast in exchange for us loosening our trade controls in the Bering Strait. Obviously, we cannot give up total control, especially with that strait being right along the nation's borders. However, we also desperately need a naval outlet in the Atlantic, and this trade gives us that. In light of this, I propose that this exchange be approved on the conditions that the Soviet Navy can establish a naval base there and that the Bering Strait is closed off to all non-Socialist uranium and plutonium shipping. All in favour?"

Everyone looked to Stalin. He sat still for a second, then put his hand up. Immediately, every other hand in the room went up.

"Good idea, Comrade Minister," Stalin said. "Ensure that that is carried out. Comrade Foreign Minister, about the French proposal, please ensure that the French goodwill tours are allowed into our nation on the condition that Soviet tourist and education groups are also allowed to visit France."

"Yes, Comrade General Secretary."

"Good. With that, this session is done." Stalin stood and, without waiting, headed back to his car that would take him back to his dacha. He still had to decide on his orders for preparations to greet the Mexican government when they visited.

In light of recent threats and demonstrations of force by the imperialists, the Red Army has agreed to take up your offer to construct a military base in northern Mexico, and has deployed further forces of the Soviet Ground Forces to support the battle against the imperialist threat. The Soviet Navy has also agreed to provide 6 K-class submarines to assist the Mexican Navy against hostile naval forces. Furthermore, the General Secretary himself has agreed to meet with the leader of the Worker's Republic on the condition that this meeting take place in Moscow, due to unrest in the Americas. He awaits your reply.

The Soviet Union agrees to your proposed trade on the conditions that the land be allowed to host a Soviet Navy base and that the Bering Starit be closed to non-Socialist uranium and plutonium shipping. The Soviet Union also thanks the people and government of Canada for their generous permission to lease land for the use of the Soviet Union in the fight for International Socialism.

The Soviet Union thanks you for your offer regarding aircraft at the upcoming air show. As for goodwill tours, the people and Party of the Soviet Union will welcome tours with open arms on the condition that tourists and students from the Soviet Union be allowed to visit France.

In exchange for that, if Canada captures Alaska during a possible war between the NNSA and the enemy Americans, we will give full military control, meaning you can station troops, establish bases, or anything you want on the land. It is our plan if war breaks out to invade Alaska and the North-Western States before anything else. Meanwhile, the American Navy will be destroyed trying to go into the Atlantic by the Canadians and the Vaas Pirates and the Pacific by your forces and Mexico's. We then close in, hopefully get the CSA in the war, and win it. If France joins...well, let's just say I did some...manufacturing.

"No, I can't. The Canadians are atempting to threaten a superpower. They're playing with fire." Sighed Andre Dubois, one of the inteligence officers in the embassy.

"Well. I guess we should send this to the Americans." Albert remarked.

"Yes. But first to Paris." Andre replied as he began to send the message.

The message from Moscow arrived on president Auriol's desk. He took a glimpse of it and sighed. The world always seemed to conspire against the plans of France for peace. And the Canadians especially seemed to want a peace of France as if France was a ckae to easily be carved up. After the president finished reading, he grabbed a glass and poured himself a large dose of Scotch. It was to be a long year.

To: Germany and Imperial America

The situation is dire. The above inteligence report is accurate. It seems that the Canadians have been working on something big. Ad if that's not enough, Mexico and Turkey may be involved. This could lead to another world war. If necessary, Imperial America should give France and Germany nuclear weapons while we still work on our nuclear projects. At the same time, we need more allies wherever they can be found. The Philippines is a good start, but we should gather more allies by whatever means necessary.

Currently we're trying to engineer a coup in Turkey since some military officials are pro-western. North Arabia bight be a good start too. But it seems as if the world slowly is comming to conflict. And if we don't act fast we could be doomed.

"Not even two months into this new year and the world is already on the brink of a world war, huh." said President Ismet as he looked through the headlines of all the international news so far. With the Canadian-Mexican-Soviet alliance against the US and its allies, Turkey might be caught in the crossfire and forced to join the war, on top of the terrorist attack that happened a week ago.

Since then, the Police Intelligence Branch has managed to track down three cells, one in Gaziantep, one in Adana and another in Ankara through local contacts and reliable sources. In fact, the Gaziantep cell has already been apprehended and neutralized, leaving only two cells left in the country. The HQ for these two cells are pinpointed to several locations in their respective cities, thus the police are now doing stakeouts and relying on local contacts to find their base of operations. The police have been trying to interrogate one of the captured cell operator but to no avail since yesterday.

Two days after the radio broadcast of the President regarding the incident(which is 4 days ago), another broadcast had been held to assure the citizens that the police are doing all they can to track these terrorists and pinpoint their origin. The public has largely remained calm, with some percentage of them are quite worried. The opposing party, the Democrat Party had been monopolizing on this incident and calls out that the leaning of Turkey towards the Soviets are what's causing this incident to happen. Despite that, their campaign are only giving off minimal impact since such things should not be discussed in the current state of the country.

An order came in from the cabinet on the 18th January to foster better trade relations with Iran and ask for military access into outskirts of Iranian territories. The military access was asked so that a possible assault on Rashid Caliphate through the east coast of Arabian Peninsular may be run.

The reason for choosing Iran was that Turkey-Iran were having good relations since even before World War 1 and the fact that Turkey and Iran had signed a Defensive Pact agreement back in 1938. Once the terrorist threat had been identified to be coming from the Rashids, Turkey will take appropriate measures in defending its people from more suffering. Of course this information was kept in secrecy and discussions were only done in the higher-ups.

Thank you Canada for the trade agreement offer and the Republic of Turkey duly accepts it. Unfortunately we do not have a need for two oil tankers at the moment since we already have two, but we will take up the offer for the purchase of one oil tanker. We thank you for your consideration of us in spite of the current situation of your nation.

Dear comrade,
It is our wish to inform you at the earliest notice that the Republic of Turkey is considering to declare war on Rashid Caliphate once the terrorist threat has been confirmed to be originating from that country. Our request is not that for the Soviets to join, but to provide resources needed for war such as oil or provide more war assets should the need for it rise. Of course Turkey will compensate for any and all help given by the Soviets in the form of money or trade whichever is most appropriate.

So far we have asked for military access into the outskirts of Iranian territories to help prepare a possible assault on the Rashid Caliphate through the west coast of the country. That is all for our report on the matter.

After the president finished reading, he grabbed a glass and poured himself a large dose of Scotch. It was to be a long year.

The situation is dire. The above inteligence report is accurate. It seems that the Canadians have been working on something big. Ad if that's not enough, Mexico and Turkey may be involved. Diego, since his last meeting with Vaas pertaining to foreign affairs, has been monitoring telegram traffic going outbound and inbound to the nation for the past two days in the small confines of his office (conveniently placed right across from Vaas's). Telegrams were not usually a source of interest for Diego, as often times the telegrams were simply confirmations and updates on orders and shipments that were heading for North America. While he was listening in on chatter pertaining to a large shipment of weaponry to Texas (the first of many that would be sent there to adequately supply the rebellion there), Diego was interrupted by a telegram coming from Canada.

Sigh...I knew you would refuse the trade. So how about this. I give you a destroyer, an oiler, and five dozen slaves in exchange fore safe sea access for 8 months. Does that sound fair?

He questioned angrily while flicking the TV to some documentary on the U.S.S.R, showing how big their military is, then proceeding to turn it off. "Tom, you can't let the construction complete unless you want your island to be obliterated! No big "strategic territory" will exist if it completes!"

"Well, you want me to lose my job? The wealthiest territory in the nation will be destroyed if we don't put up the missile silos!" Yelled Tom, governor of New Ochlandia.

"W-well, agh! Forget it!" The Lieutenant muttered.

Seriously, we thought the stuff we're building in our pacific territory would threaten the Soviet Union, now we can't halt construction as President Nacho says to keep building the weaponry just to "intimidate" the Soviets. What he means is "No, I wanna keep building just because, they won't hurt us, right?"

So don't mind the missile silos and stuff being built.

Normally, aside from the sounds of traffic and politicians talking to each other, the building was quiet. It was so quiet that if someone accidentally dropped his briefcase or a book, the whole room would take notice. Today is not one of those days Outside the legislative building, protesters can be heard shouting protest slogans, demanding that the military be disarmed. A lot of them are holding signs which expressed their distaste for the military. This kind of scene was not limited to today either. This has been the usual sight for three days. At least the politicians are not alone in suffering the noise caused by the protesters. There are also protests in front of military bases across the nation. Even the court prosecuting the Tenyente who caused this whole mess was not spared of protests.

Frigid, dry air filled the streets of Pyongyang as the sun hid behind the clouds in the sky. The low temperature was not an uncommon occurrence in the capitol, as wintery months tend to get quite cold. Kim Il-sung was not bothered by the inclement weather though, at least not at the moment. It had already been a busy day for him as he had just returned from a funeral service held for those who had perished in the Philippine Sea. Now he found himself stationed at the head of a table located within some meeting room of some administrative building within Pyongyang.

He had called for a meeting with the State Affairs Commission, equivalent to what other countries would call his cabinet. Basically a glorified briefing, he demanded they meet to make sure all members of the executive are adequately fluent and maintaining knowledge of events concerning the Republic as well as discuss ongoing events abroad.

As Kim waited for the last of his cabinet to be seated, he had the room attendant pour him a glass of some fancy vodka that was made in the Soviet Union, gifted to him by Stalin himself as a show of respect between the two leaders.

Finally, the seats were filled and the room attendant was asked to leave the room after accommodating all members of the SAC. Kim took a sip of the vodka from his glass, the liquor burning his throat as he swallowed it.

"What is the situation in the Philippines?" He asked the room.

A man cleared his throat. Yi Joo-sun, director of KPA operations, spoke. "It seems that the Americans have taken a special interest in what could potentially happen. They've mobilized armed forces to the region in addition to that which is stationed in the Philippines."

"Why would they mobilize to the region when we've not even so much as place a blame on anyone?"

"Capitalist pigs," Yi scoffed. "I think it's fantastic news honestly. We can feed the state media that Americans fear our power and have taken openly provocative action to aggravate us. While abroad we can use this as a casus belli, stating they seek to disrupt the region's stability. Which is perfect timing due to their recent nuclear testing. As far as the Philippines themselves, they have the military on high alert which has caused some civil unrest throughout the country."

Kim nodded. "I would like to reverse my previous desire to launch a military campaign on the Philippines. Instead, I'd like to send agents to feed the flame of civil unrest. Propagate a worker's life, then when the workers revolt we swoop in and take their country right from under them."

"And of the sinking of the Korean vessel?"

"Blame it on the Americans, that along with the nuclear testing my be enough to gather international support of an embargo on the Americans for their bold hostility. Someone else?"

The meeting went on casually, running it's course through various topics and matters discussion. None of which were quite as important as the Philippine situation. After the meeting convened, Kim sat alone at the table to rest and gather himself for just a moment when his close ally Min Su-min approached him.

"You really think that we can take the Americans on like this?' he asked the dear leader.

"Alone? The Americans have already shot themselves in the foot."

Ambassador Kim Su-hon waited patiently in a meeting room for the Soviet ambassador to arrive. The room, adorned in luxurious décor, was set up so that the sunlight shining through the window would hit the middle of the room where Korean and Soviet flags sat atop a long table of stained wood.

The Dear Leader, Kim Il-sung addressed the nation today following an extravagant military parade through the streets of Pyongyang. The address, which was the first of the year, was attended by thousands of Korean citizens who cheered loudly for the Dear Leader as soon as he made his appearance. Greeting the crowd with a huge smile and thanking them for their attendance in the warmest of welcomes despite the cold temperatures outside, the address quickly took a serious tone as our great leader spoke on the tragic loss of life in the Philippine Sea.

After thorough investigation and even more thorough review, the Greater Korean Republic concluded that an military vessel of American origins harassed and assaulted the Korean ship in the Philippine Sea, resulting in it's destruction. Kim Il-sung vehemently condemned the American military and government. Announcing that Korea would no longer cooperate with American trade partners, the American government, the Dear Leader called on other nations to take likewise actions to combat blatant American aggression, citing the unnecessary mobilization of military forces in addition to what was already stationed in the region and illegal nuclear tests as evidence of both their intents and guilt.

The nuclear test was recieved positively by the American government, it was a strong assurance of American power projections in these uncertain times, but there was no time to celebrate, the nuclear test was only a small victory, America is facing more problems, namely increasing tension with Mexico and Canada. Imperial America is already maintaining naval patrols in the Gulf of Mexico but it is decided to increase it's fleet size in the Gulf, in addition, Imperial America is increasing it's ground troop presence in both it's southern frontier as well as in the Canadian-American border to deter either nation from launching an attack on Imperial America, Imperial America also has launched naval patrols with a 60 ship carrier fleet in the Labrador Sea close to Canada, this is to monitor Canadian movement and act as a quick response force. All combat aircraft have been put on high alert, with American fighters flying constant aerial patrols close to Mexico and Canada, even B-29 superfortress and B-36 Convair bombers are conducting multi hour patrol loaded with armed nuclear bombs ready for an attack order in minutes.The Los Alamos National Laboratory has been ordered to increase nuclear weapon production which is very much needed in this rapidly destabilizing world,this is especially to replace the old Little Boy and Fatman type nuclear bombs with the new Mk4 nuclear bombs.

General Granger just sat there, waiting for the test to be over. He wasn't fond of the man across from him, Roger Tyler, the Temporary Prime Minister, who he thought was not the best choice for a PM of Canada. All he was before becoming the new PM was the Premier of the Danish Territories and Canadian Territories, so he wasn't the sharpest tool in the shed. In the Control Tower of the air base, both of them as well as the security watched the 22 workers load the missile into the new Territorial-Class Bomber. This was a test to see how both of the new devices would turn out. Then, the elevator door opened. It was Matilda.

"Your telegram to the Koreans has been sent, Tyler," he said with a sigh. He briefly shook Granger's hand, knowing that they both didn't like the new PM.

"The signal has been commenced and the crew is ready," the Controller said.

"Prepare for the take-off. Check the crew has the right area location," Granger replied. He heard Matilda say under his breath, "This will teach those French and American pigs."

Granger turned around and replied, "Hey, hey, remember, the mole is still out there. You don't want a nuclear strike!" The mole, however, was still in France, so the French nor Americans, or any country in the world besides the USSR knew about the test about to go off.

"The crew is off and the plane is sturdy."

"And the location?"

"Ready and clear."

And four minutes later, strike one had commenced. And then strike two. And strike three.

"The test location is hit direct with number two! We have success!"

"Tell the crew to save the fourth missile and close the launch. We have to study the effects of the missile in that height."

"Yes sir."

And thus, Canada's new Anti-Personal Missiles were ready.

The president's desk was flooded with telegrams delivered by the foreign ministry. It seemed like everyone minus the Canadians wanted to have relations with France. In many ways, it seemed like France was to be on top diplomatically. As the president read the letters, he sighed. It reminded him of 1930s France when France was not only feared, but respected. And he had a plan to regain the respect of the world for France.

It is an impressive moment when a nation as great as Greater Korea thanks a nation like France of it's global acomplishments. As such, the embassy request is aproved, and the French Government would like to open an embassy in Pyongyang. To aid Greater Korea in rebuilding itself, techical experts will be sent to help rebuild industrial sights and improve the infrastructure of Korea. Similarly, if Korea wishes to, the French Government is open to trade talks.

Our inteligence efforts in Canada have been compromised. But we have learned of a new weapons test of a missle. As such, the Ministry of Defence has requested the procurement of missles of it's own along with an order for 250 F-86s and 250 F-84Es and 1,500 M47 Patton tanks. Also, one nuclear bomb is to be tested as a warning to France's enemies. The test will be conducted in the Sahara.

In the case of Canada, the French government has close contacts with Quebecois loyal to an independent Quebec. If possible, the French Ministry of Foreign affairs is requesting that Quebecois be given refuge and aid in America if they need it.


Northern Chad, Next Day

It was early in the morning still. The sun had not quite risen yet, and the sky just began to dance with colors. The air was still icy. And in the middle of nowhere was a 100 meter tall steel tower with a large object on the top with wires protruding from it. And 15km away was a large cement bunker where scientists and military offcilas had spent the night along with a select few journalists to capture the event.

At 5:15am the first checks where done to make sure everything was in working order. The enigeers gave a last look around the sight before driving away to safety, nearly 40km away. The sun just began to rise if ever so slightly at 5:25am as a countdown timer was started and the press went to the dedicated camera ports as to safely photograph the event.

At 5:28am a two minute countdown was verbaly begun. Everyone awaited what would happen next. The first minute flew by, and as the second was coming down to a close, a fifteen second countdown was started. 15...14...13...12...11...10...9...8...7...6...5...4...3...2...1...

Immediately after one, a loud bang was heard. The air was shaken and then a bright light lit up the dark Saharan morning. It was as if the sun had risen an hour early. The press officials clicked away and then the room went estatic. Claping filled the bunker as the scientists pulled out a bottle of champange and the military officals brought out some glasses. Then they held a toast to France's first successful nuclear test. Even if the bomb was a donation courtesy of Imperial America.

In his office, Matilda was writing notes for later about the missile project he had seen earlier. He was angrier than ever. And more worried too. He knew it was happening, but he was still in shock when a telegram from the Quebec Police Department came in explaining how a trio of French Informants were caught sneaking around a records department building reserved for the officials, and how they said about 100 more informants were in the nation. He wanted something to happen about it, and quick. And then he got his wish.

The door to his cramped office opened. His Personal Security Officer, Toller, walked in. "The board is having a meeting that they request you join. They say it is very important."

Matilda jumped up, grabbed his most important notes, and walked out the door with Toller closing it behind him.

At the meeting, Matilda sat down in front of about 15 other members of the government, including Minister of Foreign Affairs Noah Jaye, Minister of Foreign Relations James Carmell, Minister of Defense Ryan Taylor, and others. But one person he didn't see was Tyler.

"Where's Tyler?" he asked.

"We decided not to bring him to the meeting because of... the potential he isn't providing as the PM," Minister of Demographics William Mackenzie announced.

Tyler shrugged and put out his notes.

"As you all know, Canada is in some trying times," Jaye began.

"Our first order of discussion is the French Informants. As you all know, spies from the nation were found a couple of hours ago. What do you think we should do about it?"

Many of those in room shared their ideas, such as Taylor with advanced security on Military areas, Carmell with dealing with France about it, and Minister of Dates Rondy King with closing the borders. After all of their ideas were told, Minister of Security Grahm Taylor went with his decision.

"We should advance security on heavily populated areas with the military doing regular patrols on non-heavily populated areas."

Everyone agreed with that.

"Next order of business: the Missiles. Since the only one of us that was their was Matilda, give us your notes."

Matilda cleared his throat and put his empty binder way. "Now, we have a total of 15 New AP Missiles, and 40 regular AVP Missiles, with more being repaired and made. We should only use the AVP for tests, and only in deserted areas. After all, we still have to worry about the American-Franco Alliance, and I think we may be too late. We will make plans for where we will launch them in case of war later."

"Okay, pretty simple, yet effective. Now the third problem: Quebec."

Whispers came around the room, even between the guards and scribes. The it silenced.

"We all know Quebec has a higher percentage of population wanting independence ever since the French became a problem. So it is most certain the French are aiding rebellion. However, there will be a meeting next week to discuss that problem, so we don't have to worry now. In the meantime, police are put on high alert and Canadian Riot Police have established a new HQ on the outskirts of Quebec City. Speaking of Police and rebellions, the Danish are being calmer ever since we allowed a group of them into the government, and the Mafia has been chased out into Europe, so the Mafia is now the problem of the Swedish. Now what?"

Taylor replied, "The American Blockade. Because of it, we can't do our jiggery magic in Africa, so that topic has to be canceled for today. However, we can go the long way of having ships go through the Artic and Atlantic, go through Mexico's new canal, avoid the Americans with Vaas, and off to Africa we go. And we also have been upgrading our Navy and Coast Guard, which is why we are selling a bunch of old ships to other nations like Turkey and the pirates."

Everyone nodded their heads as Mackenzie started his problem. "As all of you may know, the Dutch gave their Guiana Colony in South America independence. And as some of you may know, we are planning a secret invasion of it, as it will provide a good strategic area to attack the French Guiana and American South America, you know, IN CASE of war."

Gasps and whispers went around again, but this time, Jaye shushed everyone.

"And we have many other issues, but we will discuss those in different meetings. We have concluded we will not declare any wars yet. Dismissed."

Everyone got up and left and as the Reporters compared notes while security went to break. Some stayed and kept discussing things. But Matilda just stared at the window. He just wished MacDonald was back.
