The Cold War was a war that lasted from 1949 until the dawn of the new millenium, the crisis spanned multiple generations, decades, and conflicts that would culminate in the end of an era and the collapse of an ideology. However this time around things are a little different, unlike in our timeline where the world was shaped by men long dead, the new world order will be shaped by us. It is your time to take control of your country and lead your people. Ladies and Gentlemen, I welcome you to The Cold War RP.

Rules

• No Godmodding.
• Armies must be at most 10 percent of your population. It would depend on your policies and world events.
• Stay in the realm of realism.
• No unjustified war. This means that you must state your wargoal as well as having a reason in your declaration of war.
• Consider landscapes/geography and logistics.
• You can only have one nation (unless it is a puppet nation or a colony)
• If you win a war, you have the option to either annex their land, puppet their land, or annex some of their land and puppet the rest
• If you lose a war your standing army will go down to 1% of your population (or 0% if the peace treaty disbands your army)
• if you puppet a nation as a spoil of war the person who made the nation still is in charge of the nation, and can rebel against you (however most likely not for a long time)

Would you like some assistance in Scandinavian arms and economic aid? We're pretty much the only power in Europe not to have been majorly damaged by WWII (except maybe Finland during the Winter War, but there wasn't exactly that much to damage in the first place), so we're doing pretty well.

Of course, you're going to have to abandon Socialist thought as well as advocate for more Fascist Nationalist and Anti-Communist ways of thinking.

Right, we've got a shit ton of outdated stuff (though not exactly outdated to us, since alternatives are quite lacking) so we'll start there then build-up.

We got L-60 light tanks, main disadvantage being...well, they're light tanks. But funnily enough, this is probably one of the least obsolete things I have (when it comes to its intended roles of scouting and infantry support) considering how long it lasted in international service. so those'll be good for you.

We also got M/42 Medium tanks which considering their intended use as main combat tanks most definitely makes them obsolete, but still good in other roles.

Also got a bunch of stuff from the SS Division Wiking and other German units that surrendered to us during the war: so a couple of Panzer IIIs and IVs, and some King Tigers which is nice.

And then some propeller fighter and bombers, like these guys:

Right now, we've got these tanks in the style of the T-34, called the A49. It's still in development, though, and we're hoping to get a few hundred built soon. We're developing special tracks right now, ones with strong grip that can overcome all this African terrain. We'll take the planes though. We're willing to produce them ourselves, just give us the license and we'll give you around $1 million in whatever resource you like, oh and we'll also take some of the light tanks as scouts.

If you need to import any raw materials, we'll do that.
