No shade and no offense, but that seems quirky.

But Britain did apply for the territories, and he's a player. Yeah, I messed up with the French and American part (You still have to talk with America about Hawaii though), so you can have the stuff they didn't apply for. Sorry about that, doing the best I can to make everyone happy.

What's the rule on nations that have been abandoned? For example, the Nazis that were hiding out on a Norwegian island. They haven't been around for a while, so when would they be available for a new applicant to use?

The Korea-America-Philippines thing annoys me, 'cause, politicians do indeed make gaffes. They're not always going to be accurate and correct about everything 100% of the time.

Also, maybe the America player should've left the "Israel" thing in there, since gaffes and Freudian slips exist.

And there's no Monaco or Portugal player, so would I have to NPC them, or would the Canada player do the NPCing?

Sorry, I though Monaco was part of Polario. Let's say it's French.

Just a reminder; Spain, Andorra, Vatican, and San Marino.

Might-as-well take up that empty space, since everyone forgets microstates and micronations.

Polaria and I are probably the closest to a Portugal player. I'll probably make a nudge or two to it depending on how the worldbuilding plays out. They let go of Timor, so I think Macau is either independent or PRC.

Has he abandoned the RP? Smaller nations and diplomatically insular countries can get away with being geopolitically inactive for some time.

I mean, what'd happen to Angola and all of Portugal's other colonies? Would/could I claim them? I mean, they're still relevant. The Dutch, Luxembourgish and Belgians aren't really relevant (Dutch lost their colonies, but they're probably still playable)

True that, and retroactively, Polaria was geopolitically inactive, but like I said IC-ly, news travels slow.

No one made any nudges to Spain (except France taking all of Morocco.)

Spain and Portugal were still relevant, after all, they were the last two fascist countries left (Spain-under-Franco, and Estado Novo)
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Estado_Novo_%28Portugal%29
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Francoist_Spain

Also, I said Spain is boring, it's true. They haven't done anything of note after colonizing stuff, and also having a civil war with Spanish Anarchism/CNT-FAI (besides have economical issues, and also Catalonia)

Same goes for Portugal. All they ever did that's relevant was exploration, colonization, and turn Fascist (besides Soccer/Futbol, but that's basically it)

True. I hope a Portugal player does come along, though. It'd be a shame if the only Fascist country isn't even a country (and technically-speaking, Nazism and Fascism are two different ideologies)

Note: Technocracy, Longism, and other ideologies exist. Just had to remind people, since everyone's just doing Democratic-Republicanism or Communist-Socialism, and I'd like to see more flair/spice. (which is why I'm happy there's a Caliphate and a Pirate Republic IC-ly)

Weird, it reminds me of 1984. Also, it's weird how it says "SI," and Si is "yes" in espagnol. ("Spanish" in French)

Generally speaking, any nation that wants allies has to join up with one of the three main factions (Commies, capitalists, and non-aligned) or risk being curbstomped by their neighbours.

I'm pretty sure some of those weird/obscure 1910s-and-Great Depression ideologies would/could fit in those three categories.

Technocracy (Capitalist/Western/NATO, since Technocracy and Communist-Socialism would ideologically be at-odds)
    Fascism (Capitalist or Nonaligned/Neutral)
NatSoc/Nazism (Technically socialist, though after WWII, I think no one'd friend/ally a NatSoc nation.)
    Longism (Capitalist)
Other forms of Autocracy/dictatorial (Capitalist, note that the US did back dictatorships, and also made some)
    Plutocracy (Automatically Capitalist)

and so on, you get the point.

Note: Having a Command economy/Autarky would automatically land you in the "Capitalist/Western/NATO" faction/sphere-of-influence moi thinks.

Which is why, on second thought, I'm not making a post responding to it. Also, not saying it's a gaffe would probably be a PR nightmare for Polaria, so I'm gonna nope out of that scenario.

Sorry, I was thinking from the Soviet point of view, in that Stalin was absolutely opposed to anything short of a complete embrace of command economies (sorry, Titoists).

However, I think having a command economy wouldn't automatically include you in the capitalist sphere. If anything, you'd be more likely to get kicked out of it, as a command economy would be a more Soviet-oriented move.

At this point, Communism and capitalism seem to mostly be two terms used for relatively arbitrary groups. The capitalists have both near-anarchy and command economies in their ranks, while the Communists have pretty open economies in some of their members.

Didn't the Third Reich/"Aryan Empire" have a command economy/autarky? It's weird imagining they were straight-up normal Capitalist. Who'd want to trade w/ that?
