I know France tested it's first nuclear weapon in 1960, but somehow in this RP, the Americans support the French nuclear program (which they didn't do IRL), which means a test in the 1950s is now more likely. Also, I think you mean the F-101 Voodo which was an American plane (since when I typed in Voodo missiles, all I got was the plane). But that didn't enter service until 1957, and it was only suplied to Canada IRL because they were a close US ally at the time so you probably won't get them in this timeline because of the tense American-Canadian relations.

What I'm most excited about is the early 1950s when I can finally get some great French made planes like the Dassault Mystere IV along with some better navy ships instead of whatever survived WW2, whatever could be salvaged and rebuil, and whatever France took from the Germans as war reparations.

You are right about the WMDs. I don't have them. However, I do have anti-personal missiles that have the blast radius of about two regular sized houses from Canada's old government, which the Socialists took.

The first Soviet atom bomb was detonated in August 1949, so I don't have any yet.

The American nuclear program was absolutely RIDDLED with Soviet spies, so it's not like it was a huge surprise for the USSR that this was coming.

I think America only checks in on the RP once a day or so, so they only have the chance to post once a day.

Well, even though I am the enemy, you could allow those born in the colonies to vote and become actual citizens. And maybe get someone from your colonies to be in the actual French Government.

If you mean it will be tough to effectively create a reason for rebellion, casually mention that the local Communists are looking shaky and the USSR will be flooding the colony with guns and cash for a revolt in no time.

If you mean how to suppress independence, two words: carpet bombing.

Well, even though I am the enemy, you could allow those born in the colonies to vote and become actual citizens. And maybe get someone from your colonies to be in the actual French Government.

That's what making them departments of France did. However elections are not due until 1951. So yes, citizens in the former French colonies are now citizens because a department is the French equivalent of a state/province/municipality. And I think I may pull a communist uprising along with an islamist insurgency for RP hell fun.

Not at all. France because of it's African lands has a huge Muslim population that is a little less than half of the total French population.
