At the end of the conflict, Thailand regained independence from Japan, but despite this, the Prime Minister who was friendly to the Japanese in the war remained in power. Upon the collapse of Japan to the Koreans, the Japanese commanders in the country and their troops cut a deal to stay in Thailand to avoid prosecution and death upon arrival in the now communist Japan. The country remains under heavy Japanese influence and the Seri Thai movement has since been crushed by the Prime Minister.

Faction: Not aligned, but leans towards NATO

What I'm thinking is: they'll reestablish economic contact with Diarcesia (if OP allows, still not involved in the cold war) and pave the way for the latter to develop its Apsychia MBT in the 80s.

Just becuase something is invented in a certain time does not mean that everyone has that thing at that time first people need to know it exists, then they got get blueprints, then they got to build it. For example lets say france invented a tank in 1950. first other country would need to
know that france made a new tank, get blueprints for it, and build it

Also, there needs to be leasons each nation learns after a war. So I'm thinking that because of the war with Rashid, France is going to develop a lot more modern military equipment early on
For example the Panahrd EBR will enter service in 1950 instead of 1951, the SA50 tank gun will be created earlier on, and a new French tank will be built specifically with desert fighting and insurgent wars in mind.

Well, yes and no. It's basically an M4A3E8 Sherman chassis with a M4A3E2 Sherman Jumbo style turret that is enlarged and firrted with the SA 49 Anti-Tank gun which has better performance than either the short 75mm or long 76mm from the Sherman and it has comprable performance to the American 90mm tankg guns. Starting next year, the improved SA 50 tank gun will be offered with a muzzel velocity of 1000 m/s (these are the real test statistics).

In response to OP: I get the part about no developing weapons before they existend in real life, but the Panhard EBR was based off a design from 1939, and in 1949 all it's components existed, so it's not too far fetched to think the Panhard EBR could eneter service a year earlier. As for the SA 50, it's based off the Panzaer V Panther's gun from WW2, and is a lenghtened SA 49. So in 1949 a prottype could the created and fielded theoretically by 1950 since the technology already exists and is basicaly the SA 49 with a longer barrel.

Due to the IRL time differences it won't be practical to RP a real time conversation. I propose we nut out some agreements we can publish as IC documents.

First one is a memorandum between our two countries, agreeing to some basic principles:

- Agree to the general principle of supporting an African future that is respectful of human rights, peaceful, prosperous, democratic and independent from the economic, political and cultural control of non-Africans
- Agree to discuss African issues together in order to present a united front on the international stage
- Mutually support claims for compensation from colonised states
- Create a pan African organisation to pursue this mission

On that last point: found the Pan-African Organisation
- Exists to promote and co-ordinate pan-African solidarity and decolonisation, and the development of the continent's economic, scientific, political and cultural progress
- Bound to pursue these goals through the principle human rights, democracy, peace, prosperity, equality, and justice
- Membership will comprise of representatives from any independent majority-democratic African state
- Associate membership extended to democratic independence movements and governments in exile

I have a smiliar plan in place, sans the independence part. If you replace that with the slow but steady Francization of the former French colonies along with modernization, then that's the plan of the French Five Year Plan.
