Its a long story but basic, Nez started working on her bill, then Simone introduced that bill, then she got in a funk when she was running for Caucus Chair, then Nez beat her out of said funk while at the same time calling her bill just a little bit bad, Simone jumped on board to Nez's bill while putting her's on hold, then Nez spent a few months getting a number of co-sponsors so the bill could be called bipartisan, then Nez did a little quid pro quo so Anderson would sign on, which in turn let the Speaker to give Nez some advice on editing the bill of which a little more than half Nez agreed with a followed up on, then I got approve fron Sana that it would pass committee like 12 hours ago, then she sent out her email with the final copy, and I'm waiting for the Gun Bill to pass the House and then Nez will unlease her creation on to the world, so in short, the bill isn't even on Docket yet.

Am I permitted to enter the game at this time? I would need a briefing on what has happened and how the primaries are currently going.

I haven't applied. I have multiple characters in mind, and I want to understand the current situation in order to decide which one to use.

Simone is well aware that her bill is incredibly lacking but it's also by its diminished nature more likely to pass, but Nez definitely set her right on being more aggressive.

Character Information Sheet

NS Nation Name: Qabea
Character Name: Vincent Trahan
Character Gender: Male
Character Age: 76
Character Height: 6 ft 1 in
Character Weight: 155 lbs
Character Position/Role/Job: Senator
Appearance:
Image

Character State of Origin: West Virginia
Character State of Residence: West Virginia
Character Party Affiliation: Democratic
Main Strengths: Career politician, dealmaker, political moderate, friendly, insightful, passionate
Main Weaknesses: Old age, lack of stamina, vulnerable seat, maverick, melodramatic, politically incorrect (more because he can't help it not because he tries to)
Biography: Vincent Trahan was born in the summer of 1944 in Huntington, West Virginia to William Trahan who was both a coal miner and a Democrat in the West Virginia House of Representatives during the late 50’s to the early 70's’s and his wife Lady Bird Jones. Trahan was the youngest in a family of eight siblings (two older brothers and five older sisters). When he was thirteen, his family moved to Williamson, West Virginia where he attended Williamson High School. During his tenure at WHS, Trahan was a state Track and Field Champion and graduated with High Honours.

Trahan attended West Virginia University in Morgantown where he studied political science. Graduating from the University in 1966; he went on to study law at Northwestern University, graduating in 1969. Trahan was admitted to the West Virginia bar the next year and began practicing law in Williamson. From 1970 to 1972, he served as the Mingo County attorney.

Trahan was married to Betty Merrifield in 1970 and is the father of two boys and a girl.

In 1972, he made a successful bid to the West Virginia House of Representatives, filling the same seat vacated by his father. He served as Representatives, eventually rising up the ranks to become House Speaker in 1979. In 1982, after ten years in the statehouse, Trahan narrowly won the West Virginia Democratic Senate primary after criss-crossing the state multiple times, criticising the incumbent for his opposition to school prayer—something Trahan would eventually oppose himself later in his career—and the Panama Canal Treaties. A 36 year-old Trahan would comfortably win the general election on a conservative Democrat platform with strong support from the Mining Unions.

A popular Senator in his state, Trahan remained to the right of the national Democratic party; supporting coal energy, gun-rights, veteran’s affairs reform, and immigration controls. However, Trahan has been criticized by Conservatives for being a strong proponent of healthcare reform, public housing, and unions. During his Senate tenure; in 1990 he sponsored legislation to provide aid to coal miners in the event clean air legislation passes, Trahan voted against the Clinton Impeachment but opted to censure the embattled President during a later vote, in 2000 Trahan sponsored legislation to divert tariff revenue away from the Department of the Treasury and directly to businesses and industries affected by globalism, recently Trahan has been a critic of America's endless wars and supports legislation to either amend or repeal the War Powers to take powers away from the President, Trahan has also recently come out in support of legislation to legalize medical marijuana. In 2015, Trahan was a bipartisan co-author of the Veteran's choice act.

In 2016, Trahan was involved in a controversy with the West Virginia Democratic party for endorsing the State Senate bid of his youngest son who ran for a seat as a Republican. Trahan said he supported his son; stating that they may have some political disagreements, but would be unfair to put party before family. The 2016 controversy led to calls for Trahan to switch political affiliations based off his more Conservative views; in response, Trahan said that the people of West Virginia would see right through that and no longer think of him as an individual who owes nothing to no one.

During the 2018 election, Trahan would see the safe majority he enjoyed most of his Senate tenure virtually wiped out winning by only a three percentage point margin.

Character Information Sheet

NS Nation Name: Puertollano
Character Name: Tammy Tablot
Character Gender: Female
Character Age: 78
Character Height: 1.8m
Character Weight: 90kg
Character Position/Role/Job: Mayor of Las Vegas
Appearance:
Character State of Origin: Louisiana
Character State of Residence: Nevada
Character Party Affiliation: Non-Partisan/Independent
Main Strengths: Strong name recognition in Las Vegas area, strong relationship with LGBT+ community, seen as wise stateswoman.
Main Weaknesses: Viewed as too close to the Casinos, allegations of abuse towards staff, past criticism of Baharia which was considered too far.
Biography:

Tammy Tablot was born in 1941 to her parents John and Mary Tablot in New Orleans, Louisiana. The family was from an upper-middle class origins, with their heritage extending back to the early French settlers of Louisiana, owing to their family name. Her father was Dentist who operated in the New Orleans area, whereas her mother (like many women of the time) was primarily a homemaker. When Tammy was only four years old, her father was enlisted into the military to fight in the Pacific Theatre on a medical ship in 1945. There he earned many distinctions, something that brought pride to her family. These events shaped the upbringing of little Tammy, who by that stage was already receiving a decent education in a local charter school. She distinguished herself as a good actor, and quite theatrical. After the end of schooling, Tammy did not seek higher education, like many young girls of her age. Instead, she became a seamstress. She moved to Baton Rogue.

In 1961, Tammy briefly moved back to New Orleans with her parents to support her father who was contesting Louisiana's 2nd Congressional District as a Republican for the upcoming congressional elections. Her father, John Tablot lost the race to [not-Hale Boggs], but it was an introduction for Tammy into the realm of politics. During this time, she met a young man called Cedric Cummings who was helping her father in the congressional campaign. They were instantly attracted to each other, and instead of parting ways, they decide to start dating. Cedric found new work among many Republican congressional congresspeople in the state of California and in 1962, convinced her to come with him. During this time, at age 21, Tammy Tablot picked up theatrical school on the side of caring for their new home in Huntington Beach. She had her wedding that same year, marrying Cedric to become Tammy Cummings.

At age 26, in 1966, Tammy began to feature in her first theater productions and scored a major role in 1967 as Cindarella in a stage production that was touring the entire state. Tammy later reflected that this was one of her most favourite memories, but acknowledged that it strained her relationship with her husband due to their constant separation. It was 1968, when aged 28, that Tammy became involved with an advertising agent that could score her work on new TV commercial and newspaper clippings. That work was less reliable, but it meant she could spend more time with her husband, so he appreciated it. A year later Tammy had their twins, named Joseph and Robert. The family situation during this time was good, Tammy worked on and off when needed for shoots, and Cedric had a stable job working in the office of a Republican Congressman.

1973, when 33, the family decided to move to Las Vegas, Nevada. Tammy Cummings received a very lucrative job offer with a Nevada-based company called DuraCleanex, who sought out her for advertising and promotional material. The CEO of DuraCleanex had attended one of her performances as a small-time actress in California and had been following her advertising successes. That year, the DuraCleanex company announced a new product, a sanitary 'spray and wipe' called the 'Wow Action Anti-Bacterial Spray' and after sluggish sales, wanted Tammy to be the brand ambassador. The job was worth a lot of money, so she did not hesitate in accepting it. Tammy became a staple of Nevada television, radio and print media, known as the 'Wow Woman'. She was known for her dramatic flair in introducing the cleaning products and was frequent on local television channels demonstrating the goods. Billboards of her face used to lace the streets of Las Vegas holding a bottle of whatever new product the DuraCleanex company had invented. She spent a good eleven years in this role as the brand ambassador for DuraCleanex as a whole, but retired in 1984 before the company was bought out by consumer goods company Reckitt & Sons and J&J Colman. At the end of it, Tammy retired with tens of thousands of dollars.

It was in 1984, when she was 47, that her life dramatically changed. Her husband, Cedric, came out as gay to her, and professed his love for men. Shocked, though not too surprised, was very welcoming and appreciative of her husband. Tammy supported him emotionally, especially for the era, and even supported his own efforts to find a new life, house and love. In 1985, they officially divorced, though he still remains an important part of the children's and the families life. Tammy reverted back to Tammy Tablot. This changed her views on the LGBT community drastically and moved to the left on multiple other social issues.

Between 1985 and 1993, Tammy was enjoying her retirement in a wealthy neighbourhood of Las Vegas. She received another job offer in 1993, this time from the Center for Disease Control to appear in anti-HIV and AIDS advertising material. Although not needing the money, having retired plentifully, she accepted the offer on the basis of a moral and spiritual reasoning, claiming that she felt a religious beckoning for her to do something about it. Her most famous advertisement appeared in national and local newspapers, with the bold letters stating: 'If he doesn't give up shooting up, time to give him up'. In 1996, she received a promotion under then President Bill Clinton's anti-HIV and AIDS media campaign strategy, appearing more frequently and more often about the need for people to protect themselves from the pandemic. This re-ignited her passion for change and politics, and consequently in 1999, thought she needed to do something about it.

At the age of 58, Tammy ran for Mayor of Las Vegas. The incumbent was retiring and she ran as a Non-Partisan candidate, like all other candidates in Las Vegas Mayoral contests. With high name recognition from her time with DuraCleanex and work with the CDC, she was a strong candidate. In the first round of voting, Tammy won 39% of the vote, her other opponents received 36% and 25% respectively. The second round of voting was close, but she won with 53% vs 47%. Her reign as the Mayor of Las Vegas has been met with mixed opinions. She was a strong local advocate in supporting new measures to protect the LGBT community during the HIV and AIDS pandemic, and became a staple fixture of the Las Vegas Mardi Gras, never failing to attend every years event. Tammy kept local taxes low and was rather uninvolved in the affairs of the casinos, instead favouring a laissez-faire approach to the market. However, she was criticized for being too close to the big casinos on the strip and perhaps too accommodating to their needs. Throughout her term, Las Vegas has operated as a sanctuary city for illegal immigrants who work in many of the casino hotels. In 2010, Tammy came under criticism for calling President Baharia a "stupid dunce" on Fox News for the Affordable Care Act. Several of her staff also resigned in 2015 after alleging that she was an "abusive boss", which lead to a very public spat between the Mayor and her dissenting staff. They re-called that she was once so mad that they punched a hole in the wall of her office, only for her to blame it on her Secretary. Tammy won all of her re-election campaigns, with the most recent in April of 2019.

In the 2016 Presidential Election, Tammy said she would like to see [not-Lincoln Chaffee] as President. But after he dropped out, she did not comment on who she supported between [not-Clifford] and Wolf. In 2018, Tammy appeared as a guest on RuPaul's Drag Race. Later that year she was titled the 'Queen of the Strip' in a Vogue article.

Although not public with her thoughts on national politics, several journalists have analysed public campaign donation records from Tammy. According to FEC filings, Tammy has gifted maximum donations to Nathaniel Richardson's gubernatorial primary when he was challenged by his Lieutenant Governor. As well as maximum donations to Senator Merriam of New Hampshire and Senator Jillian Dayton of Virginia in their own re-election campaigns. For the current Presidential primary, Tammy has given maximum campaign donation funds to both Nathaniel Richardson and Diane Paulson, and a maximum campaign donation to Senator Erika Goldman before she dropped-out.

I haven't applied. I have multiple characters in mind, and I want to understand the current situation in order to decide which one to use.

Democrat Primaries:

Major Candidate Rundown:
Levi Murphy - Strong progressive, former union leader. Anti-war stance has caused some controversy.
Mike Velez - Hispanic businessman, Governor of Florida. Rising moderate, seen as one of the strongest candidates thus far.
Jillian Dayton** - Virginian wine lover, Senator of Virginia, is the other strong moderate.
Tim Westra - Weaker progressive. Has taken controversial stances on abortion, seen as misogynistic by many.

Other candidates that may be of interest:
Martin Spellman - Former celebrity and TV star from California, seen as a strong social progressive but weak on economic issues. Current winner of the debate thus far.
John Donaldson - Businessman, with rather interesting speaking patterns. Moderate, perhaps more so than any other candidates.
Caldwell (forgot first name) - Congresswoman, "won" the healthcare roundtable and painted Westra and Little as misogynists. Has mostly disappeared.

Dropped out candidates:
Ben Little - Senator of Maryland, had a good grip on the black vote. Run by the same player as the one who runs Tim Westra. Also seen as misogynistic.
Erika Goldman* - Senator of Connecticut, seen as the most right-wing of the Democrats and as a neoliberal DINO. Washington Consensus proponent, strong infrastructure focus. Former HUD Secretary for [not-Obama]. Endorsed Jillian Dayton.

Republican Primaries:

Major candidate rundown:
Arnold Wolf Jr. - Son of the President, Donald Trump Jr. analogue. Seen as the main loser of the last debate, and generally seen as weak-willed.
Jonah Prendergast Jr. - Governor of West Virginia. Seen as a strong Wolfist. Former coal businessman with an ethics record of "questionable"
Nathaniel Richardson** - Governor of North Carolina. Seen as a RINO, but working on it. Very boring and bland.
Bernard J. Porter* - Former Secretary of Defence, paleoconservative interventionist. Is much less economically right-wing than the others. Used to be seen as a fascist/neo-Nazi, but has rehabilitated his image to a decent degree. The epitome of right-wing populism.
Diane Paulson** - Congresswoman for 2nd District of Maine. Libertarian platform, trying to court the Tea Party. Single mother, and has the most funding relative to her polling.

Other candidates of interest:
Arthur Bragg - Asian American, former Mayor and now Senator of Wisconsin. Was seen as a rising star, now collapsed.

Dropped out:
James Burgun - Similar platform to Porter, albeit with a better image. Governor of North Dakota, endorsed Arnold Wolf Jr.
James Goldwater - Racist, misogynistic, had similar image problems to Porter but couldn't redeem himself.

I did that by blindsiding people, though. Next debate will be much harder.

True. I’m excited to see how things go down in the next Republican Debate. Do they occur every month like the Democratic ones in RL?
