| STORY PREMISE WELCOME TO PATTERSBOROUGH, NORTH CAROLINA. The lustrous and old town, located on the edge of the North American continent, and possessing wonderful, tourist-primed beaches. The town has been home to a Class-A Baseball league title victory, recipients of the hotdog eating champions, and more. Approximately 41,300 people call Pattersborough home, all of whom steer clear of the one haunting aspect of this ideal North Carolinian town: Kings Hill Manor. While technically an old plantation built back in the 18th Century, Kings Hill Manor was once the central part of Pattersborough, particularly during the American Civil War. Despite this, a tragic phenomenon overtook the manor during the late 1800's, where its head at the time, Geoffrey Kingsman, murdered his wife and three children, before committing suicide in his office. Authorities reported at the time that Kingsman had written in ink, his own blood, and other materials: "THEY ARE WATCHING", scrawled all over the walls and across his own body. From that day forward, no one has dared step foot inside of the Kings Hill Manor. Except for now. A string of disappearances of young townsfolk has prompted an investigation by both the Pattersborough Police Department, and concerned townsfolk. Typically youngsters, the concerned townsfolk, despite every intuitive thought, have lashed out by themselves in order to figure out the truth behind these disappearances. All clues point toward the Kings Hill Manor, which has lead the townsfolk to believe something more sinister is taking place there. Find out the mystery of Kings Hill Manor. That being said, if you are to betray someone, please consult them via TG beforehand and notify the staff. This is not an excuse to be a jerk to one another. 5. The portrayal of gruesome content will be somewhat allowed in this RP. That being said, do not go incredible lengths into detail on certain aspects such as gore, illegal activities, and anything that would be considered to be taboo or bring the wrath of moderators on this RP. A "Mature Content" warning is here just as a precaution, but it is not a means to permit you to indulge in fantasies. |
