Invasion Force Moves into Kelantan

The Federation Army divided into two groups have been sent into Kelantan to secure the state for the Federation. The navy has also moved to secure deserted oil platforms on the coast of Kelantan as well as blocking off the ports.

Fleet Modernization
All 6 warships of the Federation have been upgraded with palm oil biofuel hybrid engines and retractable solar panels for electricity generation.

R&D Department
Research & Development on large transport ships are continued, with prototypes currently in testing phase. The transport ships are a double-decker ship almost like a ferry, able to carry 300 troops (both decks) or 4 armored vehicles (only lower deck). The upper deck is smaller than the lower deck in area and also houses a compartment for the ship captain and navigation crew.

The PDS Amihan passes the Cape of Good Hope and begins to head north along Africa's western coast.

With the discovery of more and more surviving governments across Asia the Dynasty has sent a message to their neighbors across the sea. The Dynasty wishes to establish official relations to foster friendship and partnership.

News Report

Good evening ladies and gentlemen, this is the 8 o'clock news. Our first story of the day concerns the ongoing civil war, which after all of these years seems close to finished. Not without its sacrifices, not only of the soldiers involved in the direct fighting, but also of the civilian populace as well as officials behind the scene. Which leads us to our main story of the day.

This morning, chief of staff Alexander Versloten has been found dead in his apartment this morning. After police researched the incident, it appears that he has fallen victim to a lynching party, most likely done by the rebel group treading around in this country: Echelon. The president has released a statement this morning:

"It is with much grief that I speak to you today. One of the greatest patriots of this country has fallen victim to a lynching party committed by the ever cowardly rebel group Echelon. Alexander Versloten shall be remembered as one of the greatest patriots in Dutch history for his service to not only the nation, but especially to the people. That is all."

It is unclear how the Echelon could have infiltrated the security systems in place surrounding Versloten. However, cameras were shown to be offline during the time this unfortunate incident happened.

Finally, the weather. The weather is expected to become more and more dreary as fall advances. Tomorrow, a temperature of 12º celsius is estimated along with thick cloud cover.
