History:
Following the nuclear war that devastated the entire world, those of the rich, some high ranking military officers and royal families in the states of Malacca & Johor of Malaysia retreated to several underground vaults previously built by private companies as preparation for the catastrophe. The survivors emerged from their shelters in 2077 to find that some of the infrastructures surrounding them are still intact physically, albeit weakened due to a decade of no maintenance on them. They slowly rebuilt their states, with the Johor royal family claiming the throne to rule Johor state. Meanwhile in Malacca, a leader was appointed among the survivors, the young son of the previous head of state of Malacca.
After two years, both states have already restored most of their previous communication arrays and managed to contact each other. For the next decade they shared their resources before finally combining under the name of Federation of Malaya on the 31st of March 2089. The two leaders of respective states is at the helm of the government with a few important posts overseeing the economy, military, and public affairs of each state are respectively given to prominent individuals effectively acting as 'ministers'. By 2100, Malaya is now led by Tengku Mahmud Shah of Johor & Akram Aqeel of Malacca.
