Hey everyone! With most of the still active players sticking to discord, I'm bumping the OOC to announce that the quidditch roster is up. Go crazy

In addition to possibly expanding the timeline to further help potential applicants get an idea of the story, I'll be working on the House Cup section and hopefully get that taken care of this weekend if I have the time, so stay tuned!

And as always, we're still alive and apps are still open for any new players that might be interested. If anyone has any questions, don't hesitate to ask. Brit and I will try to provide any answers as soon as possible.

Brief Backstory: A very long time ago, Elliot’s family was once Pureblooded. Several centuries later, after many many marriages, the family is now as Mudblood as can be, although a few others in the family have magical capabilities. Elliot was homeschooled for the first six years of his schooling life by his grandmother, but kept up on various events of the wizarding world. His parents found a cache of Galleons at their farmhouse in Galway, and this paid for Elliot to go to Hogwarts for his 7th year. Elliot’s father, Andrew, works in a bookshop, while his mother, Amy, is a Seamstress. He is an only child, and his family owns a massive farm and old farmhouse near Galway.

Brief Backstory: Lyra was born to Muggle parents from a wizarding family that was dying out. When her parents found out she had magic, they valued her more than her sister and cousins. They sent her off to Hogwarts and are expecting her to find a good pureblood man to settle down with and keep the family magic going, so the Silverstones can be powerful again. But they don't know that she likes girls, and Lyra shudders to think what would happen if they found out.

Brief Backstory: Born in a Turkish family in Kent, the Death eaters, as the Karataoglu family had been their enemies and his uncle was an ally of Harry Potter, decided to kill them. On a hike up to Canterbury, his uncle and his older brother (They were two different people, don't worry) were ambushed and killed by Death Eaters. It was decided it was high time to go to Hogwarts.

Personality: Seneca is conservative, introverted, socially awkward, but also perceptive, wise, cunning, and constantly in thought. He's an admirer of the ancient classical teachers, especially Marcus Aurelius, and is steeped in stoicism as a means, this gives him remarkable ability to control his emotions and fears when others could not. Seneca tends to be tolerant of the flaws and failures of others, so long as they are not moral or cannot be corrected. Brief Backstory: Seneca Byrne was born in Northern Ireland to an upperclass family. His parents were purebloods, or very nearly, and, especially his father, instilled belief in pure blood superiority in him. His father was not necessarily a strict supremacist, but felt pure bloods were in general more promising. Seneca spent a large amount of time with his grandparents on his mother's side, who lived in a remote castle. He was isolated as a child and generally spent hours reading whatever he could. His family is from Northern Ireland and had a history in connection to the republican side in the Troubles, which has lead to him distrusting government and authority.
At his time at Hogwarts, initially having trouble making friends, his first friend was Moaning Myrtle. Her misanthropic and cynical nature he found entertaining and charming.He is just about the only person to use her bathroom regularly.
He had a hard time acaddemically during his first year, but afterwards performed better.
Seneca is a surprisingly potent deulist, finding creative approaches to win.
His wand is 18" and white oak, and very firm, with a thunderbird tail feather as the core.
