How long would it take for a caravan to travel from Santa Clara County to Mariposa County (I assume that's the Free Hold) to Carson City, and then back again on the same route?

True and I’m guessing the effects of the world ending may have made winters more potent. Generally New York winters are pretty mild but that’s also taking into account the world not collapsing.

Exactly. Especially considering Canada is just one big glacier now. Even if I could find enough military-grade winter gear and thicc jackets to equip a regiment, at least 10% are gonna drop like flies anyways.

There is a bandit clan that is one week and friendly( me), a free hold that's three weeks up northeast from you. So you have local choices.

Personally I think you should consider raising the cap on some of the better states, like Legit Govs and Megacorps but you're the OP so you make the decision.
