•Character Full Name: CT-6264 'Brutus'

•Gender: Male

•Race/Species: Human (Clone)

•Age: 13 (26 biologically due to accelerated aging)

•Physical Appearance:
Image
Underneath, his face is that of Jango Fett, like all the other clones. His hair has grown long enough that a few curls hang over his forehead, and his lower face is covered by a dark beard. His left eye is permanently squinted and has a large scar over it.

Image
Brutus' armor has a number of phrases etched into it in Aurabesh, listed below.
Left forearm- "Violence is the supreme authority from which all authority is derived"
Right shinplate- "First To Fight"
Left side of chestplate- "Ungrateful for the blood we gave"
Buttplate, under the kama- "Kiss it Clanker"
Right shoulder- "Here today, gone tomorrow"
Left side of helmet- "No mercy for betrayers"

•Homeworld: Kamino

•Personality: Aggressive would be an understatement. Clone Captain CT-6264 is a decidedly bloodthirsty individual, though it was not always so. Seeing as he was approved for battlefield deployment, at the time of leaving Kamino, he would've had no unusual behavioral characteristics. CT-6264 was part of the original 200,000 Clone Soldiers grown by the Kaminoans, bred specifically for battlefield command. Because of this, he was originally born with a slightly greater amount of independence than the standard infantry soldier. During the three-year campaign on Allst Prime, CT-6264 developed further independence, building an affinity for highly aggressive, collateral tactics used for flushing out the guerrilla insurgent movements rooted in the planet. CT-6264 was able to build a friendly rapport with General Dan Brovil, the Jedi leader of the 411th, but as with all clones, his ultimate loyalty is solely to the Republic. The Allst Prime Campaign, more than simply building an affinity for collateral tactics, caused CT-6264 to develop an combative streak, and a heavy bloodlust. Fortunately, this remained focused entirely on the enemy. Clone Troopers were bred for war, but few of them became so absorbed in it.

•Biography: CT-2624 was born on Kamino as one of the 200,000 original clone soldiers. Having passed both physical and psychological tests, he was deployed to Geonosis during the Clone Army's flagship operation. Serving as Captain of the 411th Expeditionary Force, a company of 144 men, they fought in the first Battle of Geonosis as forward scouts and 'tunnel cleaners', flushing out droids and geonosians from underground hives and caves. Following the battle's conclusion, the 411th was assigned to the Jedi General Dan Brovil, and received only a short period of time to requisition equipment before being deployed to active duty once again. CT-2624 saw the 411th through a series of successful operations in the Outer Rim, before they were sent to Allst Prime to root out a group of insurgents attempting to claim a Separatist Foothold on the planet. Their goal was to claim Allst Prime and use it as a base for developing orbital factories that would make use of the Allst system's numerous mineral-rich asteroids to produce ships and droids in great quantities. The 411th spend most of the Clone War fighting on Allst Prime, and by the twilight of the Clone War, they had finally gained a solid foothold, with most major settlements of the system voicing support for the Republic war effort.

•Weapons and Equipment:

Image

The standard Heavy Blaster Rifle of the Grand Army of the Republic, Brutus' DC-15A has been engraved with the phrase 'Come and Take It' in Aurabesh on the stock. It can between low- and high-powered firing modes (almost always used in high), and can equip barrel attachments for either a magnetic grappling hook or side-mounted grenade launcher.

Image

Essentially a beefed up version of the standard DC-17, the 17S offers superior stopping power at the cost of bulk and heat build-up. As with most ranking clone officers, Brutus has a pair of them holstered at each hip, though he rarely engages in dual-wielding, preferring to lay down fire with the 15A and use the 17S's as backups only.

Image

Brutus' melee weapon of choice, a phrik-plated hammer which conducts an electrical charge, capable of blocking lightsabers.

He also carries a collapsible, boot-sheathed vibroknife for CQC and utility, as well as either Frag, Incendiary, or EMP 'Droid Popper' grenades depending on the mission. It's a lot of kit to lug around, but he claims the weight improves his traction. Really, he's too stubborn to go lighter outside of dire circumstances.

•Location (Prior to Protocol 66): Allst Prime, celebrating the end of his three year campaign there.

•RP Sample: see me previous app.

•Character Full Name: Solaria 'Solia' Tane

•Gender: Female

•Race/Species: Human

•Age: 36

•Physical Appearance: Replace the armour with a smart uniform

•Homeworld: Coruscant

•Personality: Solia is an intelligent, intuitive, and confidant woman who's unafraid of tackling challenges head on. Her selflessness in and out of combat has led to her gaining the respect of many of those under her command, while she, herself, places complete faith in those that she has served with, confidant in their abilities. However, she struggles in situations that do not conform to her plans, and is quick to lash out angrily when frustrated, which she is easily when things don't go her way.

•Biography: Solaria was born to a wealthy family of senators and has known luxury for most of her life, spending most of her early life being able to see the sky of Coruscant regularly, while her family had enough wealth to visit other planets relatively regularly. On account of her wealthy upbringing, her education was just as thorough, ranging from politics to economics, to even the learning of languages. Of all her subjects, she held a particular affinity for space and military history. By age 13, she could recite almost every consequential war in the last two centuries and the best-selling starships. Sensing her daughter's affinity, her father reluctantly allowed her to begin studying engineering and mechanics, which she pursued earnestly all the way to the upper levels of education, leaving university with high marks and honours in starship engineering and navigation.

Without even pausing to breathe, Solaria, who by then preferred Solia, applied for a commission Judicial Fleet, despite her parent's protests, who believed there existing more prestigious starship jobs available, yet Solia was solely set on this. Again, reluctantly, her parent's used their influence to land her a commission at age 23. For the next decade, she served dutifully in the fleet, from serving in diplomatic missions to patrolling the Outer Rim. Despite her asking not to, her parent's utilised their connections to see her rise rapidly through the ranks, arriving at Admiral at the outbreak of the Clone Wars. Being so highly ranked, she was one of the first to be given command of a Venator-class Star Destroyer. Her ship served throughout the early battles of the Clone Wars and worked closely with the 303rd Strike Legion. Throughout the war, her experience with the Jedi was limited for someone of her rank, often only working with Afon and a handful of other Jedi, largely as the role of the 303rd was the attack the enemy as soon as it struck, leaving them very little time to wait for other Jedi to catch up to them, and for this, Solia placed a great amount of faith and trust in Afon due to the many dire situations the two found themselves in and escaped.

•Weapons and Equipment: - DC-15s side arm blaster
-Vibroknife
•Location (Prior to Protocol 66): Venator-class stardestroyer, but now on Odessen after escaping with her Lambda-class T-4a shuttle

•RP Sample: I'm already in the rp

At current, the rebel groups don't exist outside of some isolated resistance on local planets. At current, this is about two weeks after Order 66.

•Character Full Name: IG-110, Numeric Designation IG-110-22, Name Designate 'Sphinx'

•Gender: N/A, masculine programming.

•Race/Species: IG-110 lightsaber droid.

•Age: 2

•Physical Appearance: Here.

•Homeworld: N/A.

•Personality: Sphinx is a IG-110 droid; created to be a killer of Jedi and a bodyguard, nothing more and nothing less. His personality, if it can be called as such given the lack of attention given to his ability to emote in his programming, is cold, ruthless and brutal, always evaluating, always thinking and planning. He is deeply loyal due to his programming, although with the loss of the Super Tactical Droid he was assigned to protect, it is debatable what will happen next to his personality. Humour is a foreign concept to him, although given he has only been around for two years, it is likely that his personality will gradually develop further over time as his Heuristic processor takes in additional information.

•Biography: IG-110, Numeric Designation IG-110-22, Designate 'Sphinx' was manufactured on Halowan in 21 BBY at the height of the Clone Wars as one of the IG-110 'lightsaber droids', an upgraded version of the more famous IG-100 MagnaGuard assassin droids that served as bodyguards to General Grievous. Originally intended to fill the same role as the MagnaGuard, they were ordered in bulk by the CIS but as the Clone Wars began to turn against the CIS, Holowan Mechanicals, seeking to abandon a sinking ship, ceased production of the model and cancelled delivery of the CIS' order.

One of the few IG-110s produced, IG-110-22, designated 'Sphinx', was assigned along with the majority of the IG-110 lightsaber droids to Raxus Secundus to protect the Separatists capital, although the deployment of such valuable war material to defend the capital rather than using them on the front lines against Jedi as was originally intended raised some concern among the Separatist Parliament, such concerns were swiftly put aside in the growing malestrom of the Clone Wars. IG-110-22, designated 'Sphinx' by the Super Tactical Droid that commanded the forces responsible for the defence of Raxus Secundus, spent the next two years in relative peace, acting as a bodyguard to the Supreme Tactical Droid and the occasional visiting high-ranking Separatist leader, until a series of events on distant worlds led to the sudden shutdown of almost all Separatist droid forces on the planet left Sphinx's ward deactivated and him suddenly without orders or a higher-authority. Now free of all authority and unknowing of what to do with his newfound freedom, Sphinx must figure out a way forwards in the strange new galaxy.

•Lightsaber: As in physical appearance, a pair of red single sabers.

•Force Abilities: N/A.

•Preferred Saber Style: Roughly approximating Form V: Djem So, although due to this knowledge being gained from being fed thousands of hours of holorecordings from Jedi, it is likely less effective than a Jedi in the style.

•Secondary(Second favored, Optional) Saber Style: Roughly approximating Form II: Makashi, although due to this knowledge being gained from being fed thousands of hours of holorecordings from Jedi, it is likely less effective than a Jedi in the style.

•Location (Prior to Protocol 66): Raxus Secundus

•RP Sample: Here.

•Character Full Name: Cerse Adaile (pronounced Sir-see Add-dayle)

•Gender: Female

•Race/Species: Human

•Age: 23

•Physical Appearance:
Image

•Homeworld: Coruscant

•Personality: Cerse is a hot-blooded, sharp-tongued lass with a tendency to run headfirst into problems. While her tendency to leap before she looks, she's also rather clever and can think her way out of a problem as quickly as she got herself into it. She can be antagonistic at times, intentionally provoking others. Her own temper more often than not has her being the one provoked, however. While she has a rather rough exterior, her actions typically come from a place of good intent. Despite having grown up in Coruscant's underworld, kindness has not been lost to her.

•Biography: Born in the sub-level slums of Coruscant with a death stick dealer for a father and a mechanic for a mother, Cerse's early life was lived in extreme poverty. Things only went downhill from there, however, as her father was shot dead just 3 years into her life, leaving her when a grieving mother who simply shut down, leaving her child basically alone in the world. For 10 years she lived life as a simple pick-pocket to make ends meet, a petty thief who more than once nearly found herself at the business end of a blaster. However, through it all she always seemed to find her way out of such situations, something she attributed to simple luck. One day, however, she pickpocketed the wrong man, or rather, the right man, depending on how you view things. Through a fateful encounter, she bumped into (and stole a lightsaber from) a Jedi knight who just happened to be seeking out a potentially force-sensitive child in the slums of Coruscant's underground. Upon being caught stealing from the Jedi, she was detained, and taken to the Jedi temple. While it was a subject of debate whether or not she should be trained, as she was already far too old to be trained with the younglings of the temple. However, the Jedi Knight she stole from stepped up, choosing to take her on as his padawan. During her time as a padawan, the clone wars began, and she fought in battles in the Outer Rim Territories. She was granted the rank of Jedi Knight in the year 21 BBY. At the time of Protocol 66, Cerce and her master were on Mygeeto, however, upon hearing news of Master Ki-Adi-Mundi's death, they attempted to flee to Tatooine. Her master was gunned down before they could get off-world.

•Lightsaber: She is currently in possession of 3 lightsabers, 2 of her own, and one belonging to her deceased master. Her own sabers are a blue shoto saber and a green standard one. Her master's is blue.
ImageImage

Image

•Force Abilities: Cerse has always favored using the force in combat to enhance her own physical capabilities. By channeling the force through her body, she sharpens her reflexes and broadens to the scope of her overall capabilities. In addition, she also makes use of the force to manipulate objects in battle to give her the upper hand.

•Preferred Saber Style: Form II: Makashi

•Secondary(Second favored, Optional) Saber Style: Form IV: Ataru

•Location (Prior to Protocol 66): Mygeeto.

•RP Sample: "Upon the press conference ending, a transmission interrupted the television of every Gothamite once again. A familiar image filled the screen. “Greetings again Gotham. I come bearing sadness and anger in my heart. As you have likely heard, my statements about vigilantes of Gotham and vigilantes as a whole have proven true. The mayor is dead, killed by the vigilant legend you all trusted, the Batman. He has betrayed Gotham, killed our mayor, and proclaimed that anarchy was to be the best way of life for us. No greater betrayal could a hero design, attempted to undermine this city’s political infrastructure and the people’s hearts and trust. He wishes to break our wills, the vigilantes wish to break our minds... but I will not allow this. I will break the vigilantes like the insubstantial twigs the are. I have already broken one man, Gotham’s Robin. You may know him as such... but I know him... as Timothy Drake.” Here, an image appeared on screen of the Red Robin and Tim Drake alongside it. “If you need proof, I can provide. I do not expect you to blindly trust my word after all.” And here popped up an image of the broken Ted Robin, his face revealed to the world. His identity exposed. “Many of you have seen this man on the streets, both in costum and out. And now, you know the face of the villain that terrorized this city. Masquerading as a hero, when he was nothing but a vile criminal, like the ones we trusted him to imprison.” Here, a face appeared on screen, or rather a mask appeared on screen, the face of Bane revealed to Gotham. “However, now I will truly do the task you trusted to your “heroes.” Now I will be your hero. Now, you shall never have to fear these vile criminals again.” And the signal cut. Leaving behind a silence in its wake more powerful than any yell." - Gotham: A New Generation
"Dying is not very sex." - Some idiot, 2020

I prefer she/they pronouns, and I enjoy not having to debate people over whether or not they should respect that. If they/them pronouns aren't something you're cool with, just use she/her. Thanks! -That same idiot, 2020

•Character Full Name: Xez 'Bonesaw' Kraid

•Gender: Male

•Race/Species: Arkanian Offshoot

•Age: 27

•Physical Appearance:
Image

Image

•Homeworld: Mandalore. He was not born there, but it is the only home he knows of.

•Personality: A tactiturn figure, whose words are not necessarily few, but efficient. Xez follows the Mandalorian code to the letter, including parts such as never removing his helmet, at least not around other people. His opportunism is evident in his shift to bounty hunting as a career. However, Xez's devotion to the old ways can make him come across as stiff or even fanatical, and his stubbornness leaves him overly committed to certain courses of action at times.

•Biography: Xez was a Mandalorian foundling, an outsider child raised by the devoted warriors. He grew up hearing stories of the martial traditionalists, the true warriors, and found the tales of their glory to be a source of strength. As a member of Death Watch, what few conflicts he participated in defined his adolescence. Xez split from Death Watch due to disagreements on leadership, around the time when the former Sith lord Darth Maul took the organization over. The traditionalist movement was no longer traditional enough for him. Having set out into the galaxy on his own, Xez made his living in the profession of bounty hunting, becoming known as the one of the ultra-traditional 'Children of the Watch'. When news came that the Jedi, ancient enemies of the Mandalorians, had been wiped out, he could only find it in himself to laugh.

•Weapons and Equipment:
-Czerka Arms Model 57 'Homesteader' hunting rifle, which can be slung beside his jetpack when not in use.
-Dl-18 blaster pistol, his sidearm of choice.
-Vibrosword, sheathed opposite his rifle.
-The left vambrace of his armor contains a flamethrower, grappling line, retractable wrist-knife and the Whistling Birds, homing micro-missiles.
-The right vambrace has an incorporated shock glove in the palm; a multi-purpose dart launcher for stun, tracker, or poison; single-use net launcher; and a wrist-sheathed survival knife.
-He wears a JT-12 jetpack to assist with mobility when needed.
-Xez makes use of a droid co-pilot for his ship, a heavily modified FA-4 unit designated F3-L1. She is able to handle astronavigation, turret control, and can take over piloting if necessary.
-Xez currently carries a lightsaber which formerly belonged to the Jedi Master Pongo Daferrilis.

•Location (Prior to Protocol 66): Leaving Nal Hutta on his ship, the Wrath One, a Kazellis-class Light Freighter.

•RP Sample: here.

•Gender: Male

•Race/Species: Human

•Age: 21

•Physical Appearance: Image

•Homeworld: Corellia

•Personality: Hot-headed, impulsive, but also loyal, caring, and courageous.

•Biography: Jace Tholme was born on Corellia, 18 years before the outbreak of the Clone Wars. He was identified at a young age, and was brought to the Jedi Temple on Coruscant at a very young age. Tholme initially progressed slowly in the development of his Force abilities, but continued to hone his skills in the years leading up to the Clone Wars. When the war begun after the Battle of Geonosis, Tholme was quickly knighted and sent off to war. In the waning years of the war, Tholme was sent to the planet Saleucami to assist in the Outer Rim sieges. When Order 66 was declared, Tholme was fortunate enough to be out on a patrol, accompanied only by a squad of clone troopers, which he dispatched despite being wounded. Because of his relative isolation, Tholme was able to evade the search parties of clones sent to find him, and he managed to make it offworld several days later.

The sun was beating down on Jace Tholme's back in the Saleucami forests. He turned around to make sure his clone troopers were still keeping pace with him.

"Captain Trask, how are we doing?"

One of the clones looked up quickly.

"Well sir, if this map is correct, the Seppie outpost should be just up ahead."

Tholme turned around and continued walking. "Excellent. We should be able to make short work of them."

The hike continued on for a while until Trask suddenly stopped and spoke.

"One moment Commander, I'm receiving a transmission."

Thinking nothing of it, Tholme gazed out into the forest, hoping to catch a glance of enemy activity. Suddenly he heard his master cry out to him in the Force, before being cut off almost instantly. "Jace, the clones! Beware!" Startled, Tholme turned around to see the clones leveling weapons at him.

"What's going on--aghh!"

A shot from Trask hit him in the shoulder as he ignited his lightsaber to defend himself. Tholme continued blocking the incoming fire as he closed the distance between him and the clones. Once close enough, he dispatched the squad with quick swings of his saber, leaving Trask alive but destroying his weapon.

"Trask, what are you doing? Why did you try to kill me?'

The clone responded with clear contempt in his voice. "What makes you think I would tell you, traitor!"

Tholme shook his head in disbelief. Clearly something terrible had happened. "Enjoy explaining this to your Commander," he replied back, before stunning the captain with a force blast to his head.

He allowed himself a moment to relax amidst the chaos. Think, Jace, think. What's the next move?

Right now, his only objective was survival.

Idk if this is good lol

Breaking News! Chancellor Kasel has announced another foreign intervention in the country of Laraosi. This move has been echoed with some praise, but many are decrying the move as another "Capilean Folly." The Chancellor is scheduled to give a speech on the matter in the next few days.

Sensing something was wrong, Tholme turned around to see the clones leveling weapons at him.

"What's going on--aghh!"

A shot from Trask hit him in the shoulder as he ignited his lightsaber to defend himself. Tholme ontinued blocking the incoming fire as he closed the distance between him and the clones.

•Character Full Name: Rhys Aatahl (Jedi Padawan)

•Gender: Male

•Race/Species: Miraluka

•Age: 19

•Physical Appearance: A lighter-skinned humanlike figure with an almost perpetually solemn look on his face. The distinctive white-grey hair of his species is of medium length and often unkempt. He dons a modest blindfold of cloth to cover his vestigial eye sockets, or at times a headdress under more ceremonial occasions.

•Homeworld: Alpheridies

•Personality: Though he comes off as a quiet and brooding person, Rhys exhibits a sort of blind(hehe xd) compassion in his actions. Whether it is due to the peaceful temperament of his people, his adherence to the Code, a certain childlike innocence that never seemed to go away - or a combination of the three - Rhys shows an almost selfless drive to uplift and care for those around him. He cannot stand the suffering of others, to such extents that he often finds himself unable to fight in a manner not in defense of himself or his allies. And though his training as a Jedi has yet attempted to dampen these thoughts, his growing ability to use the Force to empathize with others' emotions has only heightened his compassion for others. This has come to be a double-edged sword, however. As his non-confrontational nature has made him a selfless mediator and caretaker, so too has it made him an almost cowardly warrior in the face of grave danger - an attitude that could easily endanger the lives of not only himself, but of those around him. As such, the horrors of war and the nigh-extermination of all he holds dear have led him to grow dangerously close to succumbing to despair and despondence. His emotional temperament in the face of these trying times, and his sensing of the suffering and deaths of not only his peers, but countless innocent souls at the hands of the rising Galactic Empire, have pitted him in a ceaseless battle within his own mind. Nevertheless, he knows full well that he must trust in his training to avoid giving in to his emotions, and has since attempted to find solace in both meditation and more scholarly pursuits.

•Biography:

While nearly all Miraluka are born with some form of innate force-sensitivity, not all were worthy to be raised in the ways of the Jedi. It was this reason that a relatively unknown family on the world of Alpheridies saw it as a blessing to offer their young son to their Jedi protectors. Even before the boy Rhys was whisked away to begin his training, he could sense the energy around him; hear, and in some cases, even understand the voices that came to him that none other could. Everything, from the happiness and joy of his childhood friends, to the sorrow of those mourning the death of a loved one - memories, good and ill, would flash by his mind. It was a gift, he was told. And it was a gift he could use for the betterment of the entire galaxy. Following a short preliminary period at the Culu Memorial Center, Rhys was soon transferred to the Jedi Temple on Coruscant under the tutelage of a fellow Miralukan Jedi Master, Esula Yan.

When the boy first began his training on Coruscant, the brooding youngling was quickly found to have a sharp wit and exceptional intellect. It was these mental faculties and his strong connection to the Force that caught the eye of some of the Order's more experienced consulars. He took a particular liking to history, and spent much of his free time within the temple's extensive libraries and archives. However, as he aged, some of the Masters remarked that the boy was scholarly to a fault. What talents he possessed in the academic and telepathic arts, he lacked in martial skill and courage. Despite his inherent Force Sight making him practically a prodigy in terms of defensive swordsmanship, the battlemasters would chastise him for refusing to willingly attack in a duel, leading to many of his fellow padawans ridiculing him as a coward. These events left the boy conflicted, and it grew exceedingly clear that the the Council would simply sentence him to the Service Corps. However, in an occasion that surprised not only the more senior Jedi Masters, but also the young padawan in question, Master Yan intervened against such a decision. His Master's case rested upon the potential she saw within the boy, and she instead requested his trials to be temporarily waived to allow him to better prepare himself for Knighthood. With the recent outbreak of the Clone Wars calling for all aspiring Jedi to be equipped for years of war, this request was granted by a slim margin.

While Master Yan believed this balance between intellect and might would be achieved in time, she likewise made sure that her apprentice's talents did not go to waste. Within a short few years, Rhys' interests shifted gradually to the art of healing. With war growing ever more commonplace across the Republic, more and more brave Jedi would be confined to the Halls of Healing to recover from their grave injuries. Under the instruction of Master Yan directly, as well as her fellow Jedi in the Medical Corps, the padawan quickly found a calling in the art of mending not only the wounds of the body, but also those of the mind. These skills would eventually reward him with the time out in the open galaxy he probably needed. At the height of the Clone Wars, many previously peaceful worlds found themselves consumed and torn asunder by the destruction the Republic and CIS wrought against one another. To protect and aid those in need, the Order often sent their own not just as leaders for the war effort or diplomats to forge alliances and truces, but also as caretakers and doctors to care for displaced refugees. With the need for more healers at an all-time high, Yan and her padawan were sent alongside other sages to the frigid, war-torn world of Mygeeto, where they remained for some time in service to the clone legions operating there, commanded by Master Ki-Adi-Mundi.

The single year the young padawan spent on Mygeeto would offer just as much if not more learning experience than all the ones at the Jedi Temple. He worked tirelessly among doctors, medics, and his fellow sages, providing food and shelter to the civilian and native population while tending to the wounds of the clones and Knights that protected them. It was here that he distinguished himself as a compassionate Jedi, even by his master's standards. While even the clones that fought and died for the Republic admitted themselves to be expendable, the padawan often went out of his way to make sure every soul was taken care of. In fact, it was the clones that piqued a particular interest in him. Rhys noted the identical manner in which they were trained from birth, but how war had molded each individual in a seemingly different way. Over time, the padawan felt as though the seemingly expendable, worthless soldiers were more human than he believed - growing to consider some of these troopers under his care not just as allies, but friends.

It wasn't until 19 BBY that he would find these experiences and presumed friendships on Mygeeto unceremoniously crashing down around him. As the situation had grown ever more dire and the sages' manpower across the planet stretched ever more thin, Rhys often found himself having to man entire field hospitals with little to no support from his fellow healers, as Master Yan had not yet felt it safe to take him with her to the front lines. While stationed one of these field hospitals, sheltering himself from one of the planet's routine bouts of heavy snowfall, the young padawan was suddenly wracked with pain.

He doubled over in his quarters, as a cacophony of visions and voices raced through his mind. Thousands of voices, crying out in agony all at once - a swirling torrent of chaos and pain that he fought to contain and interpret. Something terrible was happening. He rushed out into the snowstorm to the nearest station housing some of the wounded - a place he knew one of his fellow Jedi had been - only to find his body already cold on the floor, with a single armed clone looming over him. Frozen in shock, and with the pain still coursing through his psyche, he called out to the trooper, pleading for an explanation. But instead of answers, he was met with the brandishing of a blaster.

Seemingly on instinct, the padawan drew his lightsaber for the first time against a foe truly seeking his death. With a single swift motion, he deflected the first blaster bolt right back at his opponent. The streak of blue light crashed upon the clone's chest, and his body slumped to the floor, leaving the boy to look upon his corpse in terror - the first life, taken by his own hand.

But before he could seize a chance at rushing in vain to the fallen sage's aid, he could already hear more of the clones approaching. Rhys stumbled out of the station and ducked out of sight under cover of the thick fog and snow. It had all happened so quickly. He snatched up his scant belongings, even as his visions of the deaths of his brothers and sisters continued to mercilessly flash before him, and quickly slipped undetected to the far end of the base, praying for Master Yan to return and explain what had happened. Then, he felt it. With a stinging pain that almost felt as if he had been shot down himself, he felt his Force-bond shatter. In an instant, he saw Yan's life cut short; snuffed out by the very clones they sought to protect. He collapsed into the snow, the gut-wrenching sensation prompting him to vomit up the remains of his already paltry rations. He could have gotten up and ran, but something kept him there. The padawan laid out in that blizzard for what seemed like an eternity, with a vain hope that what he saw was not what was truly unfolding before him. As if it was all a terrifying nightmare, he called out to his mentor again and again.

But Master Yan never came...

He likely would have frozen to death in the cold were it not for the timely arrival of another of his peers - a fellow healer, who seemed just as disheveled and haggard as he. He roused the speechless MIraluka to his feet, sneaking to the nearest unguarded ARC-170 starfighter at the far end of the base before clambering aboard. While the young padawan was too shell-shocked at the time, his comrade was thankfully composed enough to employ the sages' mental trickery to narrowly escape fighter patrols on their way out.

So lost in his own thoughts, he had almost lost track of the time they spent in deep space when they received a message from Odessen...
