No coup attempts, don’t argue with me here, and there is a lot you can do without elections as well, like pass legislation and all the standard political RP stuff. Look at LOTF

They did have a coup in Washington, when there was a big recession and everyone got panick-y.

The reason they don't have coups and violence in LOTF is because they're in a stable country. They're in a country which is stable. El Cargota isn't.

So for my second character, I may make a socialist that wants his party to become the main one in the coalition rather than PDP, my other option is a PDP politician who has his eyes on the presidency and wants to replace Tafalla. I would also like to add the amount of self-confidence in not only himself and his policies, but also towards the people. While sure, Tejedor is extremely for the people Sainz adds a level of level headed coolness. He supports the people whilst also standing to his ideals, it's that confidence that lets the people understand that what he's doing is for them. Of course, all we need to see is the polls. Let them decide.
