I’m going to cap the amount of non-politicians for now, since the point of this RP (a political RP, much like Land of the Free) is to simulate the politics and lawmaking of a Latin American nation, and we already have three non-politicians

Name: Parisa Coralez
Position in government: Mayor of Caitadó
Political Party: Liberal Party of El Cargotá
Race: Hispanic/Persian
Religion: Catholic
Gender: Female
Age: 39 (Birthday: 5 September 1981)
General Political Ideology: Center-Right Economics, Centrist Social Ideology; Radical Centrism.
Character intentions: A likely contender for the Presidency, she has expressed that she does not believe any President should serve more than eight years and that a reelection of President Tafalla would be the erosion of Democratic Norms in El Cartogá. Within the party she has already worked closely with its Youth Division and has a good relationship with the National Leader of the Liberal Party. She is effectively one of his mentees and rumors have swirled that if she does not seek the Presidency, she would be seeking a position in the National Assembly. She has prioritized economic success, budget repair and electoral reform as what she would see as the three most crucial platforms for any Liberal candidate.
Biography: (At least two paragraphs, in depth)
Parisa Delorez was born into a middle class family, her father was a local faith leader while her mother was a school teacher who arrived in El Cargotá as the Iranian Revolution raged with her family. Her mother (Haydeh) and father (Julius) married in 1980, and Parisa arrived in their lives shortly thereafter. In 1999 she received a scholarship to study Medicine at the El Cargotá National University. In 2005, she began studies for her PhD which discussed Socioeconomics and Health in great depth. For her work she was awarded a position as a Professor at ECNU and the Nobel Prize in Economics in 2010, the first and most recent Nobel Laureate of ECNU. In the 2016 Elections she ran as a Liberal and unseated the two-term Mayor of Caitadó. Throughout her tenure, she has focused heavily on bipartisanship and worked diligently with the Provincial to expand Sanitation, Public Transport and Access to Services across the city. She has focused a large part of her second half of tenure on working with the national party members to empower 'Liberal Women' to seek office. She has often been at odds with some of the more right-wing elements of her party but she has remained devoted to the cause of expanding competition and reducing taxes.
In 2019, she delivered the 'Special Guests Address' at the annual dinner of Young Liberals where she declared her desire to look after young El Cargotáns desire for opportunity, saying, "it is not Government's role to give you a job. It is Government's job to provide the opportunities for you to apply for jobs, and for jobs to thrive!" She has been named as one of the most well known Liberal politicians despite her relative inexperience, going forward to 2020 she has not yet made any official tips of the hand, and she has remained equally silent on her desire for reelection as Mayor. Ultimately, she has made quite clear her desire for electoral reform nationwide, tax reform and 'targeted stimulus spending'. She has also made strides as Mayor to cooperate with the Indigenous Peoples and Political Parties in the city, which led to her coalition on the City Council as being Liberal/National/Indigenous.
She married Manuel Coralez in 2006, and has a twin daughter son (both aged 11).

Name: Rodrigo Vulerio
Position in government: Maj. General of the 2nd Mechanized Division
Political Party: Apolitical, but a former Liberal
Race: Spanish celtic
Religion: Catholic
Gender: Male
Age: 61
General Political Ideology: A former liberal party member, he beliefs the state/provincial governments should have more say over the federal government. But now, as a military man, and more importantly, a Commanding officer he finds it unproper for a General to voice his political opinions and that General officers should refrain in case of inspiring false intentions by their words.
Character intentions: Defend the Constitution of El Cartoga and her people from all threats. Foreign and domestic. Serve the officers appointed over him and follow the commands of his Commander and Chief, as long as lawful.
Biography: (At least two paragraphs, in depth)
Born in Caitadó. His father a former member of the Cartgao military as well. Vulerio grew up on the stories of the heroic soldiers of the past. As a child he lived on the streets after his father had died in the war. His mother abandoned him since she could no longer support him. As a teenager he enlisted in the ranks to fight in 5th Jungle Infantry. Having served valiantly. Following Primos and Walshes example, he climed the officers ladders. Walsh was raising to the joint-chiefs. Primo departed after capping out as a Colonel and moving to the Ministry of Defense. He was apart of the old outfit. He knew it. The oldguard as it was. The men of his caliber were far and few between. And they were quickly dying off. Not many like Walsh and Primo left. But Vulerio was damned to give them both a run for their money. He often mused if this is what it was like in the CSA army in the American Civil War. A brotherhood of valor. Yet the political climate forced them apart. Vulerio held distaste for the false unity he saw amongst the Assembly and the President. It was clear to him that they only needed a spark before Walsh ordered men like his 2nd Division to march into Bartago and put down the revolts. Or worse, his own Caitado. Primo was just the man to light that fuse if Taffa wanted a Civil War so bad. Would it be arrogance or a thirst for power that would see his country be torn by war.
Until then, gladly he remained in the rank and file. Becoming a Brigadier General over the 2nd Division of Caitado. He learned in the United States well. Reading and constantly reorganizing how the military worked. Seeing the modernization taking place with air cavalry, Vulerio helped implement these ideas in his own 2nd Division. After his commander retired, Vulerio was promoted once again to his current post as the Major General of the 2nd Mechanized of Caitado. His unit stood, in his own huberous, as the best damn division in the whole army. The 5th Jungle Infantry was transferred to his command upon his implementing the new changes to the Division. Vulerio hoped for the promotion to a lieutenant general so he might command the entire 1st army corp. But if that promotion came with crushing his brothers from the old outfit. could he do it? Would he do it?
