Twenty years ago, things were good on the small planet known as Earth. Millions celebrated the birth of the third Global King, the fields were filled with crops, and life was good for a great many Earthlings. In response to these good times, in order to provide continuous entertainment for his people, the King founded the Tenkaichi Budokai, or World Martial Arts Tournament, which was to be held every four years. As hundreds of thousands gathered to watch the first Tournament, in three other places around the globe, three ships fell to Earth, each of them carrying within them a baby. These children were the tailed spawn of Planet Sadala, the homeworld of the proud and honorable Saiyan warrior race.

Meanwhile, across the galaxy, on Planet Sadala itself, chaos reigned. Outraged by generations of oppression, mistreatment, and the apparent subservience of their king to the Planet Trade Organization, the Saiyan people had risen up in rebellion. All across Sadala, Cities burned, palaces were looted, and the King and his loyal aristocratic families were forced to flee off world into the safety of the PTO fleet. In his anger and retaliation, the Saiyan King decided to literally scorch Sadala from the face of the galaxy, and did exactly that. In a matter of minutes the Saiyan race was reduced from a population of billions to being one of the rarest species in the Galaxy.

At yet another corner of the Galaxy, on Station Alpha, a new Galactic Emperor was crowned. Lord Kalt succeeded his mother as the ruler of the PTO and by proxy the galaxy. A powerful but cocky warrior, Kalt established his place as the head of the PTO with realitive ease and brought any worlds who dared rebel back under his rule with ruthless efficiency. Still, Kalt was not cruel by nature, and most of the galaxy looked primed to prosper under his rule.

Two decades passed, the Galaxy experienced a period of peace, and Earth prospered, unaware of the universe in the stars beyond them. Due to their sudden drop in population and the general high level of the survivors, a bit of an arms race broke out among the various lords and ladies of the PTO for the loyalty of the various remaining Saiyans. Lord Kalt, who was already an older Arcosian when he took over the PTO, began to show the burdens of rule. He had seen centuries pass in his life, and now, he could feel his life crawling to a close. On close to the Twentieth anniversary of his coronation, Kalt passed away peacefully in his sleep, having never named an official heir. With no designated heir, Kalt's various siblings, children, nieces and nephews began to bicker over who should take his seat. Bickering turned to arguments, arguments turned to fights, and before long the fights had escalated to a galaxy teetering on the edge of Civil War. In this tense and rapidly escalating enviroment, one of the various factions of the Civil War sent one of their general's to Earth to find and recruit the three Saiyans who had been sent there all those years ago, along with any Earthlings who proved strong enough to contend with their slaughter. Meanwhile on Earth, the people rejoiced and eagerly awaited the 5th Tenkaichi Budokai.

Hello and Welcome to Dragonball: Untold, yet another RP telling the story of an alternate Dragonball Universe. This will be a primarily story-based RP focused on the adventures and misadventures of a group of wayward Earthlings and the Saiyans that their planet adopted. In this RP we will play one of these figures as they grow stronger, fight various foes and each other, and discover some of the mysteries of the Universe. I hope that you join us as we explore the untold stories of the Dragonball Multiverse.

Aside from the big three rules listed above, a number of smaller rules more relating to the setting have been decided on. This mostly relates to setting story expectations and what kinds of characters can be made, so don't worry too much about possibly breaking these. Just read this section before your write your app.

Character Rules: There are and will be at RP start two Saiyan Characters open to play, not including myself and Brit. These Saiyans are specifically the part of the trio who were sent to Earth as mentioned above in the OP. I ask that if you app as a Saiyan, you remain dedicated and active in the RP, as these are restricted spots and it would be a little unfair to others if you took one and then didn't use it. Current open Saiyan spots: 2. Next, at RP start, Androids will not be available to play as for story reasons. If you want to play an Android, don't worry, there will be an opportunity further down the line, but for the moment, they are not available. Arcosians will be restricted in this RP, due to their nature as a rare species that rules the Galaxy. If you want to play an Arcosian, due to how little they may actually end up on screen, you will have to make an app as a member of the main group in order to play an Arcosian. Lastly, I am open to other alien races, either like the Namekians or any of the Alien variants seen in the Show. However, you must have a reason for them to be secretly on Earth at the opening of the Arc or working with the Saiyan Recruiter who is sent to the planet.

Setting Rules: Yes, there is a big interesting Civil War going on in the background of the First Arc at least. There will be opportunities to explore this in solo arcs and such. However, please keep in mind that there is a main RP story that we are going to be sticking to and that players should be participating in. It is for this reason that the restrictions on Arcosian's is stated above, as just about every Arcosian is going to be leading or working for another side in the Civil War than what the player's are going to be on or fighting in the first arc. This rule is obviously bound to change past our first arc, so don't worry about it too much. Finally, for the sake of getting up to speed a bit faster, Earth will be slightly stronger in this universe than they are in the main universe, with our chracters at the start being in the low thousands power level wise.

Bio: Glacia is the eldest niece of Emperor Kalt, the daughter of the Emperor's youngest brother. Her father, Glacies, challenged Kalt upon the death of their mother for his right to inherit the throne, per the ancient tradition of the House of Arcosia. Glacies lost and killed in the duel and left his daughter to be raised by other relatives in the Imperial Family.

Despite the circumstances of her father's death, Kalt never swore vengeance on Glacia, and she was raised among her relatives. Like all of her relatives she was born with an incredible about of power and combat prowess, Glacia preferred to study rather than to fight and became something of a scholar. It was expected that Kalt would reign for centuries and Glacia dedicated herself to serving as an adviser and chancellor to her uncle. The Emperor's illness and decline, however, shattered any illusions that Glacia could live most of her early life in peace and as Kalt's health deteriorated the drums of war grew louder. The Arcosians respected only power, and only the strongest would reign supreme. For this reason, Glacia looked elsewhere. By nature, she was not ambitious, but in order to survive in a hostile galaxy, Glacia decided it was better to kill than to be killed. She knew that in the past, during periods of conflict among the Arcosians often even the neutral were massacred, to prevent any rivals. Thus, Glacia decided to become Empress and enlisted the help of her Saiyan friend Spicer to find allies.

Strengths: Glacia's greatest strength is her cunning. She spent her entire life in the inner circle of the PTO court and knows how it functions. As a scholar, Glacia is well versed in what works and what does not and will use any scheme she can to gain an advanatge.

Weaknesses: Glacia is not, by nature, a warrior. To most citizens of the galaxy, Glacia is a force to be reckoned with, god-like to most, but to her own people, she is much weaker. Glacia lacks the stamina of a true warrior, and can only maintain higher forms for a short amount of time, lest the energy burden consumes her body. She is, as a rule, less proficient in combat than a trained warrior

Build: Spicer stands at 5 feet 8 inches and weighs 165 lbs. As one of the few remaining Saiyans left on the galaxy, his mere presence is enough to send chills down any lower race.

Bio: Spicer was born on the Saiyan homeworld six years before its destruction. His family was a member of the warrior aristocracy with close ties both the king and the PTO. Spicer spent his early years fighting on other worlds and conquering them or pacifying them for the PTO. As such, he was off-world during the popular uprising and subsequence destruction of Salada. Soon after, with the ascension of Kalt as the new Emperor, Spicer was sent to live on Station Alpha and served Kalt directly. There, Spicer met and befriended the Emperor's niece, Glacia, who would become his closest friend. Spicer served in Kalt's bodyguard and special ops teams, and he was sent on hundreds of raids against planets to bring them into the PTO, or to subjugate rebels.

After nearly twenty years, Spicer's normalcy began to collapse when the Emperor's illness began. Saiyans, by their nature, were now a major commodity in the universe and Kalt's relatives began to recruit the remaining few warriors into their ranks in anticipation of the war that was surely to break out. When Glacia reached out to him, Spicer agreed to support her desire to become Empress. After going over old records, Spicer discovered that a trio of Saiyans were sent, just before Salada's destruction, to a small and unknown backwater planet. Reasoning that they had surely conquered the world, he informed Glacia of this otherwise unknown information. Three Saiyans, and an entire planet, would be a major boon to Glacia and she sent Spicer on a mission to recruit the Saiyan overlords.

Strengths: Spicer is a ferocious warrior, with an aggressive style that befits his status as Glacia's top soldier. Moreover, he has mastered the Oozaru form, enabling him to use his full intelligence and range of powers in that state, and is not affected when his tail is grabbed
Weaknesses: Spicer is not one for independent actions and is reliant of Glacia to issue commands. He also has a sadistic streak that makes him lose sight of his goals in a given battle. Spicer will lose his ability to transform if his tail is lost, and if it is removed during his transformation he will be severely weakened.

Power Level:
Base form: 4,000
Oozaru: 40,000

Abilities: Spicer is a Saiyan, and is subject to the effects his race has on him. He is thus naturally gifted in combat and grows more powerful in ever difficult battle he fights and is capable of advanced ki manipulation. His most striking ability, however, is the Saiyans' ability to transform into an Oozaru when exposed to Lunar radiation, increasing his power tenfold.

Character Name: Jimmy Bowen/Smiling Fortune
Character Race: Human
Age: 20
Appearance: average person with that's black skin and some light muscle tone. When he's Smiling Fortune he's covered in a orange and blue hoodie with ornate Chinese drawings of foxes and monkeys on it. He wears a grey half fox mask with eight green magamata that glows either individually or together. He has a red pole with two metal ends that is strapped around his back with velcro and a leather slide.

He has climbing gloves and braces that are metal with ornate drawings of a dragon. He wears boots that are the same color as his hoodie. He wears tight fitting jeans that doesn't restrict movement.
Build: He is 5"5 159lbs

Bio: Born in the slums of the capital of the World Empire. He was a normal kid who loved martial arts movies but was too weak for it. The owner of a movie and costume shop, an old monkey, allowed Jim to hang around and gave him free movies of classic martial arts movies.

One Halloween the owner gave him some jewelry and a mask that had a certain feeling that made it work for Jim and latch to him. The monkey was amazed as he told Jim that he has found the successor to the artifacts and the agent Spirits of Fortune. Such an honor had to be taught to the Human since the concept of spirits, magic, ki or even the truth of Kami was lost upon the child.

However confusion turned into awe and then to reverence as he slowly understood what he had been blessed with. The artifacts came to those who possessed good luck and had a bright future to be a boon for the protection of the planet and the Guradian. The old monkey was actually the previous agent and gave up on finding a successor but found it by accident.

After that faithful day. Jim found himself being trained in the use of martial arts and magic of tricksters as he grew up. He learned how to shapeshift into animals, clone himself, use superpowers and even walk on air or ride on a cloud.

By the time of his eighteenth birthday, he had progressed far enough in his training to obtain the weapon of the Monkey Spirit, Ryu Jang Bang. He donned on a mask that was crafted from his own spirit and even learn to telepathically speak to the Guardian and the monkey.

He decided to use his newfound powers to do superhero work under the name Smiling Fortune. In the past two years his antics as a fun loveable hero and trickster as he pulls pranks on both criminals, cops, entire cities and even the Emperor himself has made him enemy number one in the eyes of the public but he's respected by those he helps.

Three months before the Tournament Jimmy actually saved the Emperor's grandson from rebels, earning him major recognition to the point that he was allowed to be the guest announcer for the next Tenkaichi Budokai. Which the Trickster Hero accepted wholeheartedly.

Strengths: Is a adept in both multiple martial arts and magical spell systems. Is able to outmaneuver foes much stronger than him and his skills and variety of techniques can close the gap between him and fighters. Using magic allows him to bypass using straightforward ki attacks
Weaknesses: He is physically weaker than what his seems. Fucks around his opponents too much and has to rely on stealth and magic to keep up or defeat stronger opponents who are equally skilled to him. His magic and power comes from his artifacts, take them off and he loses most of his magic and ki.
Power Level: ki level is around 800, magic, the artifacts and skill allows him to fight people above his tier.
Abilities: The Artifacts of Fortune: Made by Eight Spirits of Fortune that help humanity and the Guardian of the Earth. These items are imbued with ki and magical energy to be given on the Agent of Fortune. Each artefact is able to enhance a certain aspect of physicality or magic when one is trained in unlocking their secrets.

The artifacts are:
The Mask of the Littlest Fox: the Mask of an eight tailed fox. One that allows the wearer to have access to the illusion magic and to transform into a grey fox.
The Bracers of the Monkey King: The bracers are those that imbue the use with living energy and the physical power such as super strength and speed. The trick of it is that one must fight like a Monkey to use it from its fullest potential. So trickery usually the main fighting style to those who use it. It also comes with is own trickery magic and the techniques to clone one person, shapeshift and borrow attributes with the animals of the Earth.
The Boots of the Sky Theif: the boots themselves are known to allow the person to walk on air or use a Sentient cloud to fly at speeds faster than sound. The cloud itself has feelings and a sense of humor that it likes to drop people from its cloud that they don't like.
The Robes of the Rat Prince: a form fitting robe that ever changes colors and turns into a shirt, pants, or even underwear. This is Jimmy's coat and it is imbued with shadow magic and being able to communicate with rats. With shadow magic he can use stealth
Ryu Jang Bang: the weapon of the Monkey King. A pole with two metal ends that is a magically heavier than what it seems. Like in the legend, the staff is can shrink or grow at the will of the user. While also unbreakable it can also return to the user no matter where in the universe do to teleportation.
Techniques: Dazzling Monkey Style: The first style of fighting he was taught. A high evasive, acrobatic style that is physically demanding to do but is meant to confuse and do hit and run with the opponent.
Ryu Jang Bang: Is taught how to fight with his weapon staff. It also involves of its growth and reductions of the pole. It also helps that he can fight with the heavier weight of the pole with his ki and magical augmented physical attributes.
Skythreading: Basically a magical spell that allows the manipulation of magical wind that allows him to walk on air.
Skythreading-Living Nimbus: Allows to summon the sentient cloud where he can fly at high speeds.
Shapeshifting: at the time he can quickly shapeshift into an animal as a means of escape or of attack.
Shadowboxing Rat Style: a style based on Wushu boxing and actual western boxing that allows the use of magic to fight with a shadow double that can be used to overwhelm an opponent or just use it as a distraction.
Omi Oragmi: A type of dodging technique that allows one to use magic and shapeshifting to bend his body as one would fold paper in the art of origami.
Shadowwalk: his use of using shadow magic to do stealth by wrapping the shadows around him.
Magical barriers and common illusion magic he knows of.

Bio: Ovan grew up a fan of martial arts and watching the Tenkaichi Budokai ever since he was a little boy. So his parents enlisted him into every martial arts program they could to keep their high strung child preoccupied and out of trouble. It worked until he got older and began to seek tougher and tougher opponents. Most dojos didn't have the strength of opponents that he desired. Simply pummeling most of the people who wanted to test him and moving on. At least until one day, just when he began to believe that there were no more martial arts for him to learn, when he was approached by a relatively young, darker skinned man who offered him the challenge he so desired.

Out of a mix of boredom and curiosity, Ovan followed him and the two had a sparring match. Though to call it brief would be an understatement as Ovan simply got trounced by the man. For half an hour he tried his best to even land a single blow on his new instructor, only to fail, fail and fail again. This made him show up each and every day as this man showed him how to better use his "Ki" and use it to bolster his body and mind for combat. For the next few years Ovan learned from his teacher. Day after day, he got a little faster, a little stronger, all the more determined to finally find a way to beat this man.

Weaknesses: Ovan's specialty is protracted fights. Taking him out quickly undermines his ability to learn and adapt. He also uses Ki blasts far less often, as they drain his reserves of energy far too quickly more often than not

Abilities: Adaptive combat. Ovan's combat style is almost completely self taught. At first glance it appearance to be quite basic, but the intent is to let him be free to change how he fights on the fly to best suit his opponent. This seemingly allows him to match opponents of greater strength
Techniques: Void Self style: Ovan's unique style of martial arts. Focused on using ones inner Ki to bolster one's body beyond its limits.
Void Reaver: A powerful kick aimed at the neck of an opponent. Usually done as a counter attack
Void Strike: A concussive palm strike, intended to disrupt one's flow of Ki.
Void Self: A technique that allows for the suppression of pain while increasing one's overall power and inherent sturdiness

One Halloween the owner gave him some jewelry and a mask that had a certain feeling that made it work for Jim and latch to him. The monkey was amazed as he told Jim that he has found the successor to the artifacts and the agent Spirits of Fortune. Such an honor had to be taught to the Human since the concept of spirits, magic, ki or even the truth of Kami was lost upon the child.

However confusion turned into awe and then to reverence as he slowly understood what he had been blessed with. The artifacts came to those who possessed good luck and had a bright future to be a boon for the protection of the planet and the Guradian. The old monkey was actually the previous agent and gave up on finding a successor but found it by accident.

After that faithful day. Jim found himself being trained in the use of martial arts and magic of tricksters as he grew up. He learned how to shapeshift into animals, clone himself, use superpowers and even walk on air or ride on a cloud.

By the time of his eighteenth birthday, he had progressed far enough in his training to obtain the weapon of the Monkey Spirit, Ryu Jang Bang. He donned on a mask that was crafted from his own spirit and even learn to telepathically speak to the Guardian and the monkey.

He decided to use his newfound powers to do superhero work under the name Smiling Fortune. In the past two years his antics as a fun loveable hero and trickster as he pulls pranks on both criminals, cops, entire cities and even the Emperor himself has made him enemy number one in the eyes of the public but he's respected by those he helps.

Three months before the Tournament Jimmy actually saved the Emperor's grandson from rebels, earning him major recognition to the point that he was allowed to be the guest announcer for the next Tenkaichi Budokai. Which the Trickster Hero accepted wholeheartedly.

Strengths: Is a adept in both multiple martial arts and magical spell systems. Is able to outmaneuver foes much stronger than him and his skills and variety of techniques can close the gap between him and fighters. Using magic allows him to bypass using straightforward ki attacks
Weaknesses: He is physically weaker than what his seems. Fucks around his opponents too much and has to rely on stealth and magic to keep up or defeat stronger opponents who are equally skilled to him. His magic and power comes from his artifacts, take them off and he loses most of his magic and ki.
Power Level: ki level is around 800, magic, the artifacts and skill allows him to fight people above his tier.
Abilities: The Artifacts of Fortune: Made by Eight Spirits of Fortune that help humanity and the Guardian of the Earth. These items are imbued with ki and magical energy to be given on the Agent of Fortune. Each artefact is able to enhance a certain aspect of physicality or magic when one is trained in unlocking their secrets.

The artifacts are:
The Mask of the Littlest Fox: the Mask of an eight tailed fox. One that allows the wearer to have access to the illusion magic and to transform into a grey fox.
The Bracers of the Monkey King: The bracers are those that imbue the use with living energy and the physical power such as super strength and speed. The trick of it is that one must fight like a Monkey to use it from its fullest potential. So trickery usually the main fighting style to those who use it. It also comes with is own trickery magic and the techniques to clone one person, shapeshift and borrow attributes with the animals of the Earth.
The Boots of the Sky Theif: the boots themselves are known to allow the person to walk on air or use a Sentient cloud to fly at speeds faster than sound. The cloud itself has feelings and a sense of humor that it likes to drop people from its cloud that they don't like.
The Robes of the Rat Prince: a form fitting robe that ever changes colors and turns into a shirt, pants, or even underwear. This is Jimmy's coat and it is imbued with shadow magic and being able to communicate with rats. With shadow magic he can use stealth
Ryu Jang Bang: the weapon of the Monkey King. A pole with two metal ends that is a magically heavier than what it seems. Like in the legend, the staff is can shrink or grow at the will of the user. While also unbreakable it can also return to the user no matter where in the universe do to teleportation.
Techniques: Dazzling Monkey Style: The first style of fighting he was taught. A high evasive, acrobatic style that is physically demanding to do but is meant to confuse and do hit and run with the opponent.
Ryu Jang Bang: Is taught how to fight with his weapon staff. It also involves of its growth and reductions of the pole. It also helps that he can fight with the heavier weight of the pole with his ki and magical augmented physical attributes.
Skythreading: Basically a magical spell that allows wind and gravity to bend around Jim, allowing him to walk on the very sky.
Skythreading-Living Nimbus: Allows to summon the sentient cloud where he can fly at high speeds.
Shapeshifting: at the time he can quickly shapeshift into an animal as a means of escape or of attack.
Shadowboxing Rat Style: a style based on Wushu boxing and actual western boxing that allows the use of magic to fight with a shadow double that can be used to overwhelm an opponent or just use it as a distraction.
Omi Oragmi: A type of dodging technique that allows one to use magic and shapeshifting to bend his body as one would fold paper in the art of origami.
Shadowwalk: his use of using shadow magic to do stealth by wrapping the shadows around him.
Magical barriers and common illusion magic he knows of.

This looks mostly good Ral, but I'm going to ask you to remove that first Skythreading ability, or at least the gravity manipulation portion of it. Other than that, I like the alternative take on the Monkey King.

Ok, how much knowledge of the Dragonball multiverse does Jim know? I'm asking this since he's the agent of Earth's Kami. He would be knowledgeable about the afterlife, gods, spirits, and some general idea of aliens but how much is he privy to? Would he know that aliens exist on the planet and what the alien invaders want?

I would say he would know about as much as Kami knew at the start of the Saiyan Saga. He wouldn't likely be privy to the PTO's existence or the political squabbling. He might be aware that there are aliens on Earth, but probably not that aliens are on their way, if that makes sense.
