Pre-2024 History - The election of President Manuel Barbosa I it became very apparent that the main parties in Brazil, such as the Brazilian Democratic Movement and the Worker Party, have failed Brazil. Manuel Barbosa I has continued the same route of governing that has led Brazil down this destructive path to nowhere. A nation that once looked to be a global power now seemed inadequate and impoverished. The economy is failing the people and the politicians are more corrupt than ever.
This has motivated a grassroots campaign in Brazil, a third party campaign. A campaign for third parties to overthrow the dominating party. The urge for radical change within the Brazilian government seems to slowly be creeping on Brazil. With parties such as the newly founded Integralist Party gaining 13 seats in Brazil’s legislation, a party that supports strict authoritarian reforms, it seems that the moderates that wish for the status quo are coming to a slow end. They claim that by rebuilding the military, protecting Brazilian businesses, and securing an independent and anti-globalist Brazilian state then peace will ensue. They have spread messages of strength, independence, and law and order. They have repeatedly stated for the imprisonment of all ‘corrupt’ individuals as enemies of the state. While their positions are extreme they have grasped the lower working classes of Brazil promising strength, power, and unity coming to those who salute the Brazilian flag.
Another party that has seen an increased demand is the Brazilian Libertarian Party, with the colors of yellow and black flags parading through the streets of their campaign. The non-government, deregulation, and individual liberty approach of this party has the masses cheering for a better and more sustainable future. The Brazilain Libertarians fight hard and have gained several worthy investors to spread their message across all Brazil. They want the people of Brazil to take defense into their own hands with loose gun laws. They want to make the state as minimal as possible, securing the populace with their promises that all taxation is theft. Many of Brazil’s Libertarians have made public demonstrations of being arrested for tax fraud, or other petty crimes to demonstrate how their liberties aren’t garuenteed. Cheers for the golden-black banners of Brazil’s Libertarian Party. They fight to be Brazil’s pick in the race for the new seats in the race for a radical solution.
As the red sun rises over Brasilia another party blows the trumpets into the race. The Communist Party of Brazil. Pushing from a grassroots movement of student unions, parades, and speeches this extreme party has constructed a following like no other. They’ve pushed the notion that the Amazon Rainforest is the People’s rainforest, and it must be protected as such. They prop up nations like Venezuela, stating that a true communist society should go further, and have gained followings in their criticisms for how rampant capitalism has destroyed Brazil. Under the promised administration by them they wish to guarantee that all enemies and traitors of the state be imprisoned, they are the reason Brazilians suffer. Businesses will be under the workers control, ensuring that Brazilians are the main reason for any business decision. The Communist Party of Brazil storms the political arena with pride and dignity. They march for independence and community. They march for a new tide in Brazil, a red tide, but will they succeed?
Under the leadership of President Manuel Barbosa I, the people of Brazil face discontentment. With the nation growing ever more divided he makes a point to be reasonable to the people. Fearing an extremist solution he works as best he can to gain the people's favor through moderation. He pushes for neutrality, and pushes for a more United Brazil. Will his moderate policies be enough to quell the vibrant Brazilian populace?
