No we are not. Things have slowed a bit. It would be a good time to continue the war.

2975 BCE. The timeskip was over a month ago, but I don’t recall you posting since then.

Pretty sure I did actually

I guess the best way to put it would be to simply say that it stopped existing. It wasn't really conquered, although large sections of it are under occupation. It wasn't really dissolved, although I think Sweden did declare independence. Abstract reality was just found incompatible with concrete reality and ceased to exist.

A checking account is just electricity in some computer and everyone knows it, and yet it's still the money that makes the world economy go around. Now imagine that everyone just abruptly stopped believing that currency is valuable. Not a single coin or a single bank account would be changed, but money would basically just stop existing as a concept.

Now imagine that happened not just to money, but everything about a country - its laws, its institutions, the rights and duties of its citizens - and you have a rough picture of what is happening to the Commonwealth. People are no longer taking them so seriously and therefore they are ceasing to meaningfully exist.

I imagine some of the more belligerent settlements up in Norway would be pleased to not have those controls on their overseas raiding activities anymore. :p

Heh. That disease isn’t dysentery.

Oh yes. But that's just what the locals call it. It would be the height of coincidence if the locals and some 1700s Europeans happened to identify the same disease by the same name.

A tech system would be a very bad idea.

Namely because it would just make Ancient Egypt look like a savage civilization like how (and sadly) most people view them, while they view the Romans as technologically advanced gods, while thinking every African civilization or West Asian civilization as people living in mudhuts and haveno knowledge.

The Ancient Egyptians were at this time, getting to their renaissance. They are right now in their Medieval Era. China rn is in their kinda bronze age, while Europe is still kinda getting things together.

China event up:

Basically, Wan's campaign is being taken advantage of by various clans and individuals to pretty much eliminate their own personal rivals and secure power for themselves - turning the campaign into, essentially, a scapegoat for sectarian violence and genocide. Wan is being paid off in plunder in order to look the other way while these massacres take place.

Excellent post!

I’ll make sure to have sectarian violence be a major stability problem. I will also begin trying to make China more culturally homogenous. In real life south China wasn’t even Chinese before the first Emperor basically colonized the area.

Posted. Aaron begins to figure out that something is amiss before Commander Wan returns to Luoyang to report to the government and a oracle bone ceremony is preformed by a priest alone at night.

I hoped I gave a little more dimension to Aaron and the other characters in this post. I tried to keep it as character focused as possible and I would like any feedback anyone would like to give about my writing so I can improve it.

Trader Ulysses has divers working for him for sponges, we also mentioned collecting coral, and trading for pearls. This might we would be able to develop divers that could stay under for about 4-5 minutes. He developed a simple pot to trap air. Also around this time period, I think we could develop a simple bamboo snorkel. Would it be possible to do something like a salvage operation or introduce diving for military purposes into the game, holing a few ships from Ur with divers, cutting some anchor lines, mischief. Also, possibly locating the sunken ships from Uruk and retrieving some of the equipment and treasure.

I imagine the feasibility of salvage operations will depend on the depth of wrecks and the water you’d be diving in. How would you even know where ship wrecks are?

Can I ask, because I wasn't following the Winter War storyline closely, who was the guy in Kulm? And if by chance he was Victor, how did he get there, how long was he in Confederacy's lands, and did he do anything to Confederacy like, I dunno, wage war ( I hope not ), and lastly, where do you think Kulm is on the map?
