I'm doing a couple days fast forward, let me know if you'd like to interrupt this in some way. I THINK I know how time skips have been working in this rp but do let me know if I you think I'm misinterpreting.

I'd say seeing as he's quite isolated and has yet to make too many waves, he's probably not going to get any likely interaction. The ones with any remote chance to interact are the GMs (who could control the nearest npc) and possibly China, if they want. Don't see why they would bother though or how they would muster up the justification.

Well, if the author state to be founded in Moskva does grow into some kind of Russian state, that would put Asia out of reach of our sailboats... while early medieval seafaring technology might get a convoy from Scandinavia to Persia via the Russian rivers, it certainly will not hold up having to go around the Cape.

The Asian authors have some reprieve from us... for now.

Physique Description: A somewhat muscular man, as someone who has regularly practised cardio, weight lifting and boxing, Adler is in fairly good shape, though has some stamina and physical problems, especially accounting for his eczema.
Useful skills: experienced orator and writer, some basic survival training (on account of his various school field trips, to which he usually picked either long-distance hiking or wilderness survival training), "charismatic" in the sense that he can get people to easily like him, trained in Thai Boxing and Krav Maga (more experienced in the former than the latter) (is that a useful skill?), trainer/experienced in acting, improvising and hiding emotions.

What were you doing prior to falling asleep and awakening in the past?: Writing an essay/book about the folly of Marx's original ideology
Description of personality: Adler is a very enthusiastic person with a large sense of humour and loves to make other people laugh. He's a rather sensitive person who cares about a lot of things and people, though he mostly has control over his emotions, and very much cares about what others think of him. Though he loves having big discussions, sharing ideas and generally talking with people, he is rather self-conscious of his decisions and what he says which somewhat connects to the former point. However, he knows when to take things seriously and can often swallow any emotion or sensitivity he might have when it comes to decisions, as he is a great advocate of pragmatism and Real Politik. As a historian, he attempts to keep a non-bias view of any decision or situation and will usually try to make one that is fair (though there are exemptions when it comes to actions that might significantly benefit him).
Where in the world are you landing?: China, near Nanjing

Autobiography/Biography: Erich was born in Berlin as the third child of an extensively wealthy family: his father, initially a village boy, had grown to become a very successful stockbroker, having been CEO of the German branch of Securitas. From the moment his parents allowed him to watch "Saving Private Ryan" in their bedroom as an adolescent (of which to this day Erich still doesn't know why his parents decided to allow an adolescent to watch Saving Private Ryan) Erich's mind raced with a supreme interest in history and the arts. Intelligent and imaginative, yet plagued with social anxiety, awkwardness and obesity, Erich entered the educational sphere with initial hesitance, but grew to soon love and thrive when it came to learning history. Though initially only interested in military history, this simply grew as to know military history you'd have to know the politics, economics, and social situations of the time. And that's exactly what he did: soon enough (perhaps except music and art) Erich found himself engulfed and entranced in all categories of history (though military history always topped as his favourite).

As time progressed and he entered his later teen years, Erich's interests expanded to include modern politics and economics, the latter of which his father helped educate him in. He read about the world today and looked at the many trends that engulfed it. Politics and history soon grew into speaking as Erich entered the world of speeches and rhetoric to try and convince crowds through pretty words and booming speeches. Speeches and rhetoric soon made way for writing as well, as Erich soon grew passionate about writing stories and subjects: from fanfiction (CoD Zombies x Harry Potter, go figure) to online word-based RPing. These also led to Erich's interests with the performing arts, especially improv, where he learnt to make things up along the way and also be able to express his rather varied sense of humour.

Slowly his problems began to give way too. Awkwardness was hidden under layers upon layers of well-conceived mask. Social anxiety was engulfed in a facade of outgoingness. Obesity gave way for fitness and some muscle mass as Erich took up swimming (though due to his eczema skin condition, that option is no longer as viable as it once was), cardio, weight lifting and Thai boxing made him not as secure as he'd like but not as miserable as before. Overall, not a complete transformation, but definite improvements. By the time he graduated from the University of Leipzig, he was on his way for a life he rather liked. He pursued various occupations, first as a tour guide and intern for a history teacher, but then grew outwards. Soon enough he himself had become a historian, giving lectures at universities he once studied at and going to many debates on modern political issues. He began writing, though his choice of subjects were rather...controversial, to say the least (Marxism wasn't a good idea, Germany needs a little nationalism again, things along those lines). Overall, a rather comfortable life, and one that looked to have a rather good future.

What are your intentions for this RP, what's the long term goal?: Gain comfort around himself that can somewhat substitute for what he's lost in the modern-day, experiment with various ideas and attempt to apply them to the civilisation, build an empire I suppose (who doesn't like a good empire?)
What people or places are you taking inspiration from?: Georg Hegel, Roman Empire and Republic, Mongol Empire, Genghis Khan, Napoleon Bonaparte, Otto von Bismarck, Julius Caesar, Niccolò Machiavelli, Sun Tzu, Cao Cao (MORE TBA)
Why did you chose to land where you did?: Little competition (or at least little hostile competition), an abundance of resources, isolation from warmongers in the West
What vibe should we get from your civilization and it's culture?: I suppose a hard-working, organised and militaristic society, somewhat based on those of Nazi Germany and the Roman Empire. There might be illusions of freedom and liberty to keep the people happy, though the government itself (not the leader, but the government as a whole, including the "Senate") will likely be borderline Totalitarian in its power and control.
What are your character's motivations?: Greed, Wanderlust, Knowledge Lust, Curiosity, Desire for Comfort

Well thats real history it dosent have to be confined to it. And It can just be a Latin Tribe for now.

Im fine with competition, who would those contenders be?

Nestos, Crimea, the Berbers, Sardinia (I think they're still around), Provence, and eventually the Imperium. Assuming you're actually foolish bold enough to go for Roman borders, you'll also be antagonizing Hibernia, Icedonia, and should you mess with their trade, the Commonwealth. Europe is very packed.

As for the frequency of timeskips, we're fairly slow moving. It's only year 25 for example. Tends to be one every month or two, and on average they're five years per.

I mean, as I said before. If you intend to establish Russia as we understand it, you’ll have to conquer Novgorod, which means shattering the carefully built Baltic Free Trade Bloc that we’re investing considerable resources into, possibly fighting a fairly major war...

His position of Chief Parliamentarian, originally powerless, will have near total control over the Swedish State, with his political rivals sidelined or eliminated, and the Speaker and Administrator reduced to rubber-stamping his actions. Parliament will be filled with loyal allies in the Blues faction, or mere puppets.

I imagine Clara will take action against Turner for corruption her vision of the Commonwealth. I am really looking forward to this power struggle.

Despite his short experience, he is a skilled politician and respected on the local level.

After a normal childhood, he went to Yale Law School. He did well in yale, passing his Bar Examination. After a few years as a lawyer, he went to for the Boston City Council. His primary election was smooth easily gaining the Republican Nomination. Unfourtently, the General election was more difficult with Boston being mainly Democrat. Luckily he won barely and began working as a legislator,

What people or places are you taking inspiration from?: A mix of Caesar and Romulus. Caesar in his expansionism and politics. Romulus in his founding of Rome.
Why did you chose to land where you did?: I love Roman/Italian history and it fits the best with what I'm going for.

That's a little much to accomplish in 5 years, but of course that's up to Plzen. More realistically Turner should be in the middle of wrangling the Swedish bureaucracy, and avoiding the machinations of the CPS

Honestly, gaining power by allying various interest groups and isolating/marginalising power players you don’t like is kind of how democratic government is meant to be played... as long as an open and representative society is maintained, Clara might be bothered, but is unlikely to actually take offence. After all, Urho Kekkonen did much the same.

I do share Borts’ doubt that it could be done in five years, however.
