Skin, hair, and eye description: has dirty blonde hair in a hime cut that looks brighter in the sun, eyes are a dark gray color, her frame is lanky, and she has a couple of scabs and scars on her hands and arms from raising cats.
Prior Profession: part time cashier, college student.
Level of education ( specify degrees or note worthy classes ): studying linguistics in college for a degree, studied Pali with the aim of being ordained as a monk, familiar with the Burmese, Khmer, and Thai languages from having read about and visited those places.
Physique description: she overcame her early frailty by morning and evening jogs and participating in extracurricular activities such as her university's softball team. While not extremely athletic, she can run two or three miles without being exhausted. She does her best in the cold rather than the heat, something which will not be much help being in Southeast Asia.
Useful skills: has excellent memorization skills, intermediate drawing skills, and can write in the Burmese and Thai scripts.

What were you doing prior to falling asleep and awakening in the past?: was dealing with a romantic rejection and trying to finish a philology assignment.
Description of personality: Holly is a romantically idealistic woman who believes that human beings are originally good and that things such as true love and chivalry are real, she can become easily withdrawn and secluded when her ideals conflict with the reality that she often has to confront. She often has emotional outbursts when it becomes too difficult for her to contain her emotions, before which, most people can gain the impression that she is naturally serene or stoic whereas nothing could be further from the truth.
Where in the world are you landing?: Naypyitaw, Myanmar
Autobiography/Biography ( paragraph minimum ): when she was seven, Holly read a book containing a few of the Jataka Tales and the stories filled her mind with fantastic imagery of celestial beings, elephants, forests, and kings which seemed much different from the modern American world that she was raised in. This enthusiasm for similar stories lead her to reading books about Southeast Asian history where she would learn about Burmese, Thai, and Cambodian history that inflamed her desire to visit those countries. When she was fourteen, she was able to visit Thailand with her parents where she was ordained as a novice monk for a few weeks and was able to learn much more of the stories that she had read since childhood.
Through most of her adolescence, she was reclusive and heavily introverted, rarely leaving her house outside of school and reading more than eating or participating in a social life. The few times she actually explored was on summer vacations where she was able to visit other countries. Around her seventeenth birthday, Holly transitioned into living as a girl and when she was 22, received gender confirmation surgery which improved her mental state immensely. She became much more extroverted and participated in outdoor life. A few days before she was transported to the Old World, she had planned to apply for a job as a meditation instructor, using her experience as a novice monk to find a better part time job than working as a cashier.

What are your intentions for this RP, what's the long term goal?: exploring the use of rituals and myths to consolidate kingship and seeing the development of political differences between monarchies and republics.
What people or places are you taking inspiration from?: Bayinnaung, Anawrahta, Buddha Yodfa Chulaloke, Suryavarman II, Dutugamunu, Ashoka, Weizza cults, the Jataka Tales, Maha Yazawin, and Yazawin Thit.
Why did you chose to land where you did?: being the capital of modern Myanmar and a decent place to start a small civilization.
What vibe should we get from your civilization and it's culture?: a mix of Indochinese influence with religious mysticism and a royal cult centered around celestial beings and saints.
What are your character's motivations?: try to somehow get back home at first and failing that to improve the living standards of the people who she has met in order to better her own standards. This paradoxical mix of selfishness and selflessness will characterize much of her decision making processes.
