Atalia Bayer

Atalia felt goosebumps rise in her skin as the temperature abruptly dipped. It wasn't that cold, but the suddeness of the dip sent a shiver through her. She gave a small gasp... then grinned from ear to ear, "Okay, let's split it down the middle and call you Captain Cold. You know," she added teasingly, hoping to get a bluish out of her companion, "there's this thing you can do with an ice cube..."

Which was when Nikita appeared and even in her tipsy state, Atalia thought better of finishing that sentence. She couldn't help but smirk though.

She listened to the two brothers exchange banter, which finished with the question of her and Allison, "I'm a much better catch!' she declared to Nikita, "I'm sure your mother would approve... but I can't account for your brother's taste. I was just going to offer to help big him up to Allison and offer to brainstorm some ways to help him get to our friend's heart."

Kristen jumped to her feet. Whatever had happened with Malcom? It was like he went into an epileptic shock. Did he have epilepsy? He wasn't having a seizure (at least it didn't look like it). She came a safe distance away, trying to see if he was alright. "Malcom? Are you ok? Do you have epilepsy or something? I can call 911..."

Malcom Jule

Malcom got nervous when Kristen came over. He got up and backed away. "Oh, uh, no," he replied. "I'm sorry, thanks. I don't need 911. I'm fine, I just had a little shock..." Malcom's voice shook a little bit, his nervousness shining through. He was hoping she wouldn't press further, but it was obvious that he was hiding something.

He was glad Crownathan was attracting attention, and that of a pretty girl to boot, but he was just not used to all the focus being on him. Henry then turned to Nikolai and responded, "Crows can speak, but it is in their own little language. Once you spend enough time with them you can pick out the meanings of the different vocalizations. Each of the different crows in the local murder has their own likes and dislikes." Henry then turned to Crownathan who was admiring his reflection in the medal. Henry could feel the smugness radiating from him. "This guy is quite vain, always preening in the mirror."

Allison stood there and watched the crow as Henry explained the behavior of the species. She didn't much care for the science talk, but the crow fascinated her. It was strange how intelligent the crow was. It seemed to be the smartest bird she has ever seen, but then again, she never really paid attention to birds before. Henry must be an amazing training to be able to tame a crow such as this.

Allison chuckled as she caught the last bit of Henry's comment, about the crow being vain. " I think Crow get a pass on being vain." Allison said with a warm smile. She then notice the Nikolai and Atalia had moved away from the group, going to a more secluded place on the beach. They must like each other. Allison thought as the disappeared into the darkness of the rest of the beach.

After the two disappeared, Allison turned her attention back to Henry and Crownathan. " Alright, Mr. Wingsley. I kinda need my medal back. Don't worry though, if you're good, I'll let you look into it whenever you like." Allison said softly as she went to gently rub the crow's head.

"Our mother?", Nikita chuckled. "Not really. She wants Nick here to only start wooing a girl when he has already graduated from college!"

Nikolai placed an arm on Nikita, grinning. "Like hell that stopped you from taking Catherine to the karaoke and posting a picture of you two in your private Twitter account.", he teased. "Your caption was... Uh, what was it again? #FutureWife? Thank me that I didn't retweet when I could!"

"Not my fault that you're do bad at getting her attention, Lai.", Nikita said. "Not even a little hello."

"Aaaah anyway...", Nikolai retorted. "So, what ways are you thinking that I can get senpai to notice me?"

"Senpai. Hah. I like it.", Nikita visibly shivered, now that the cold was seeping in. "Hey, Nick, could you raise the air temperature a little bit now?"

"No.", he replied.

"Why?"

"Because I can."

"You.", Nikita frowned.

"Oh my. Please don't be upset, okay okay...", Nikolai relented, rising it again to 25. "Happy now?"

"Happy.", Nikita replied simply, resting his chin on his brother's shoulder like a cat. "Now, Tali, I think I can help with your matchmaking, so spill it!"

Ascot Rider

Ascot nodded and said, “I did. Quite frankly, it seems as though this is no coincidence, but there also isn’t enough information to actually justify any more suspicions.” He’d then look at Harper and ask, “Say, been manifesting any odd changes lately, beyond what puberty does? Sorry if this is a strange question.”

He’d then turn to Jack once more and whisper, “We might need to plot out an escape route, just in case people start suspecting something. We should also get the people we truly know, like Harper and Cecil, out of this place should anything happen that might result in us taken away by the police.”

It was clear that Ascot had read enough comics/bad webnovels to consider that the consequences of manifesting powers in a public setting might be really, really horrific, and that while he knew that he won’t be able to evade a determined effort to nab them, he owed it to his friends and boyfriend to at least try.
Sorry for my behavior, P2TM.

With Ascot busy speaking to a girl he wasn't familiar with, Harper stifled a sigh of frustration. Luckily, Jack noticed Harper's discomfort and called them both to the water. And though Harper was once again addressed by Atalia, he no longer felt bound to converse with her further and just laughed nervously, pretending to agree with her statement about breaking rules whilst slowly backing away from the group.

He raised the cup in the air, muttering out the corner of his mouth, "Right... Breaking the rules..."

A wave of relief washed over Harper as Atalia's attention quickly transferred to Nikolai, the fellow who'd given him a frigid embrace earlier. He pursed his lips and let out a breath, happy to be out of that particular situation. Now he was free to follow Ascot and Jack down the beach, which he did, only to be stopped by the sight of Jack.. Without his top. Immediately, Harper's face flushed red, and the cup in his hand ejected its contents as it was suddenly crushed in a fist.

Crap! Harper quickly turned away to hide his expression and.. Something else.. And pretended to crouch down and rummage through his bag. Realising that he'd ruined the cup handed to him, he looked around before quickly stowing it inside one of his pack's inner pockets. What a mess, he thought, shaking his head. This was no unusual occurrence, though. He was always like this in many social situations, and had learned to get used to them being commonplace. Dealing with them in the moment though, was another story entirely.

"Right. Just.. Chill out, and you'll be fine." he whispered between deep breaths while standing back up and zipping his bag shut. He'd taken out a pair of diving goggles with a light which his dad used to ow,n as well as a pair of flippers. With them, he walked down just to where the waves stopped and set his bag down, all the while watching Ascot and Jack get into the water. He smiled a little bit at what Ascot said in regards to his skill in swimming.

"Pfft.." he waved the comment away as he took his own shirt off. "I'm not a good swimmer. Smart, yes. Good, no."

Harper was itching to get in the water now, with it so close. The waves rolled beckoningly onto the shore, seeming to call out to him. He almost acted on instinct, but he knew better than that. Pausing a moment, he did a few stretches for a couple minutes, gaze never leaving Jack and Ascot until he heard something thump onto the ground nearby. It was Malcolm, someone who he knew, but wasn't close to. He'd fallen onto the ground, looking as though he'd gotten a shock from some electrics.

"What the..?" Harper's hands fell to his sides as his mind tried to comprehend what just happened. He looked over to his friends, half submerged in the water. They were fine. So, what was wrong with this guy? Harper scratched his head in confusion and considered going over there. But Kristen, the girl from earlier seemed to be on it, and so he decided not to. He did however, call to the two from where he was.

His voice was loud enough to be heard over the waves, but not enough to carry up the beach. "Hey uh.. Malcolm.. If I were you I wouldn't go into the water. But if you're keen on swimming.. Just.. Just be careful! I'm not sure I can help if somethin' goes wrong!" And at that, he waded into the water, diving mask and fins under his arm. He was close enough that Ascot could ask him a question that made him furrow his brow.

"Odd changes?.." he shook his head ad shrugged. "Sorry, I don't know what you mean.. Something weird going on?" he continued to ask, and at that moment realised that that may be the case. After all, Malcolm had collapsed seemingly from electric shock. Something Harper had never seen happen before.

"Hmm." he scratched at his chin as he sat down in the sand and put his swimming apparatus on. His thoughts drifted as he did so. There was an unnatural cold he'd felt a few minutes earlier. Could it have been emanating from their senior, Nikolai? But.. How was that possible? Was that the kind of 'odd change' Ascot was referring to? The thought scared him a little bit. What might be causing such changes..? And might he experience them as well, sooner or later? He gulped, standing up and moving deeper into the water. It wasn't nearly as cold as usual, but he didn't seem to notice then. And soon, he had gotten close to Jack and Ascot, though he seemed to be deliberately keeping his distance from Jack. Thank goodness it was sort of dark, and he was wearing a diving mask, because he could swear he was still blushing at that moment. He hoped neither Ascot nor Jack would notice. Whatever, he pouted to himself, rather annoyed by his feelings. If they point it out, I swear I'll swim out to sea and never come back!

Jack Brekker

Jack concealed an amused smile as Ascot suggested they plan an escape route. Sure, what was happening wasn't exactly normal, but it wasn't like the men in black would be arriving anytime soon. Probably.

"Calm down there, Ascot. I doubt anyone's gonna suspect anything, and I heavily doubt any cops are gonna show up. Relax, this is a party after all! Let's have some fun, and if some of the other kids happen to be going through their superpowered puberty, well, the more the merrier," he said.

As he finished his sentence, he turned to Harper. "Sure you haven't seen anything? I mean, I saw Malcolm looking like he was standing in the middle of an EMP, and when Nikolai came around I swear the temperature dropped 10 degrees."

Mukami Jemiriyah

"Um..." Mukami became flustered as she quickly tried to figure out how to phrase her response. "So," she said shakily. "You know how the X-Men figured out they had powers when they were really going about their day but it happened during embarrassing - I mean strange times and they couldn't figure it out like..."

She took a deep breath. Mukami had a habit of talking at supersonic speeds whenever she was nervous, and it's something she still hasn't gotten over. She simply sighed and said, "I feel... off. As if I'm physically stronger than I am normally. I can throw baseballs over 70 miles an hour, but lately I have just felt I can throw it even faster.". She widened her eyes and added, "I'm not doping. Definitely wouldn't do that. But my strength is higher than normal, and..."

Maybe it wasn't the best idea to add the fact that she could randomly summon two Japanese sports handballs at will. "Maybe it's my anxiety making me more worried than normal?"

For all that just happened to Malcom, he was acting sketchy. He says he doesn't have epilepsy, and it doesn't look like a seizure. But Kristen could tell something was up. And the closer she got to him, the more she could tell it. She couldn't put her finger on what exactly it was, though.

Kristen's eyes burrowed into a worried expression. "You don't look like you're fine, Malcom. I mean, you were just swimming fine like normal, and then all of a sudden you're lying on the ground almost passed out. My cousin has seizures sometimes, and we always need to make sure she's taking her medicine. I've seen her have a seizure that lasted five minutes. But what just happened to you... you're right. It's not like what my cousin goes through when she has one."

She paused, trying to think of what she could say without coming on too strong. She didn't hardly even know the guy that well. Sure, they were in a few classes together and she had seen him around. They just had been in different groups. Or rather, she had been in a different group. She didn't really know if Malcom had a group or not. But with Malcom looking even more shady, Kristen went ahead and just said what was on her mind.

"What's going on, Malcom? Something's not right."

Malcom Jule

Malcom has wanted to keep this secret. But, it wasn’t working for him. Kristen clearly knew something was up, and she wasn’t gonna stop until she found out. He decided to relent.

“... Well, yes,” he admitted. “I don’t have epilepsy, but something’s been going on with me, something many would consider impossible. I didn’t wanna tell anyone, but I guess I have to now. I don’t know if you’ll believe me when I tell you.” He breathed in, then breathed out. Just tell the truth. About a week or two ago, strange things started happening to me. Whenever I entered a room, lights would flicker. Then, things got weirder. Whenever I would touch electronics, they would glitch out or even crash entirely.

“I thought I was crazy, but I couldn’t have been. It was no coincidence. Whenever I entered a room, lights flickered. When I touched electronics, they glitched. These occurrences would stop whenever I left the room or stopping touching the electronics. It even happened with my electron accelerator in my garage. It wouldn’t boot up in my presence.

“Every time it happened, I felt these static shocks. My body was disrupting the electronics with an electromagnetic field. I know it’s true, because I tested it. I put my hands in a pile of magnets, and they stuck to me, the electromagnetic field pulling them onto me. That shock I just had, that’s what that was.” It felt so good to finally talk to someone about it. “I know it sounds crazy. You probably don’t believe me, but it’s the truth.”

Ascot Rider

“All right,” Ascot said in response to Jack, while glancing at Harper, suppressing any suspicions on the latter’s behavior. Then he overheard Malcom talking loudly, or at least audibly, to Kristen, being too open with his powers for any chance of safety. Twitching, he waded towards Malcom and Kristen, saying, “You two do realize that if you two don’t keep your voices to a whisper, people will either think you are crazy or this could be used as evidence to get us nabbed by the Men in Black, or both?” He then followed his own advice and lowered his voice to a whisper, saying in a low tone, “And I can make nonliving objects rot or rust with a touch, while I suspect that Nikolai person has the ability to make things colder.”

A pause as he continued to whisper, “Bad webnovels say that this is the start of a scenario where people with powers are hunted down by those who don’t have them for experimentation, enslavement, and even extermination. So all of us should be more careful.”
Sorry for my behavior, P2TM.

Jack Brekker

Letting out a sigh of exasperation as Ascot approached Malcolm and... Kristen, that was her name, he followed close behind. He had to fight not to roll his eyes at Ascot's use of the term "men in black".

"What my significant other here means to say is, uh... yeah, there's no way to spin this where we both don't look a little strange. Malcolm, electricity, not a bad power, not at all. I can pull this little trick," said Jack as he turned his arm intangible and waved it through his own chest. He felt a peculiar numb sensation not only in his arm, but also in his chest, and hurriedly pulled his arm back out.

"But, while I doubt there's anyone who'd wanna experiment on us, at least out on this little slice of heaven we call Prefeton, maybe we should err on the side of caution, yeah?," he said to the two.

Cecil Leopold Nevverling-Wijgaants
Superpowers?

It sounded more and more like these supernatural occurrences were not restricted to me. Perhaps I should just say it outright. It seemed like we were trying to get on the same page, but neither of us wanted to plainly state what we were alluding. I supposed I ought to just say it straight. Perhaps explaining the whole story would be helpful, but it would probably be simpler to plainly explain that I was experiencing anomalous developments. Something strange seemed to be going on in the lake, so it was possible we weren’t even the only ones here who had some changes going on.

“I understand what you’re saying,” I calmly and quietly responded, “I have some strange things going on with my body too. Stranger, actually. I’ve been glitching...like...in real life. Clipped through a wall the other day. Do you hear my voice? It’s been sounding a bit staticy...well, more like fuzz. Like it’s on an old-timey radio.”

I popped my wrists. The popping sound was accompanied by a faint noise that sounded like an old television short-circuited.

“That’s...another thing. That happens,” I continued, “And...well…” I patted my chest, “They’re gone. No binder needed. That’s a good thing, but I don’t know what caused it other than that it happened after I glitched. Y’know, it seems like some of the folks down by the water have something funky going on too. I dunno though. But yeah...so...I definitely get that whole deal with supernatural changes, because I’m definitely experiencing some. Actually, I almost clipped through my car door when I got in to drive over here. Anyway, yeah…uh…”

By the beach
Kristen Lane

The look on Kristen's face when Malcom confided in her was not one of fear, shock, disgust or antagonism. If anything, Kristen's face was filled with a different emotion: relief. As the shy classmate painfully explained how he had been having the weirdest two weeks of his life, and had been inwardly tormented with the knowledge that he was unusually different from every other living person, Kristen felt a wave of sympathetic relief towards him. That here was someone who knew what it was like to have to walk on eggshells everywhere!

She was about to respond, when the guys who had been swimming came up on the shore. Ascot the athletic gay freshman, and the guy he was disgustingly romantically involved with. The thought made her cringe. She thought his name was Jack.

Ascot had heard Malcom! When Kristen tried to explain that no, Ascot had just misheard Malcom and that he really had the early stages of epilepsy. But then Ascot surprised her. Speaking of a difference about himself too! Not proving it though. Kristen had no idea if Ascot was trying to pull a joke on Malcom to pick on him, draw him into some joke by making it seem like he could do things too, and then laugh at him for the rest of his life. She was wary about it.

"I... I don't know what to say."

But when Jack turned his hand into a ghost hand and reached INSIDE his chest with it (?!), Kristen's eyes got huge. What was happening? How was it possible that four people in the same small high school had these odd things happening? She got a little unsteady for a bit, and then caught herself. But her breathing was heavy.

Muttering to herself, she said quietly, "And I thought I was all alone..."

What a group, though. 2 gay guys (one of them a mouthy freshman from what Ascot seemed like), one painfully shy guy, and her. Nobody in her group, not a friend among them, though Malcom was kind of an acquaintance. Kind of. Could she trust them? Would they turn on her?

Glancing around at everyone there, and careful that no other eyes were on her, Kristen took a deep breath and said to these relative strangers, "When I woke up this morning, my right leg was hurting. In the front of the leg. I was sleeping on my side and my legs were close. But when I got up and moving, I saw why. This was pressing against it." And turning so they could see her lower body, she extended the six exhaust pipes in three sets of two from each of her calves. She also withdrew them and turned back around.

"I don't know what it means. I thought I was all alone..."

Malcom

Malcom looked in awe at Jack's ability, and then Kristen's peculiarity. He smiled. "I also thought I was all alone... and, somehow, we're all in the same boat..." He lowered his voice to a whisper. "Do you think it's a coincidence that we all ended up at this party? All the powered teens, here in this party? Are we even the only ones?

"Okay," Tali grinned, happy to be able to spill what she knew about the younger girl, "Allison is really proud of her kick boxing prowess. It really matters to her. She talks about it a lot and is wearing a medal tonight which, I assume, she won at a tournament. I didn't get a chance to ask her about it, just compliment it. Compliment her on that, show her that you care about the fact that's she's not just strong and tough, but she's stronger and tougher than all the other girls and most of the guys in this town."

"Don't change anything about yourself," she added, "You need to stay true to yourself. If you try to become a kick-boxing master to match her you will fail. She's been practising for years and if you try to do her thing with her you'll just look puny and useless. My advice would be not to try. Let her be good at her thing and you be good at your thing... which from what I've discovered tonight might well be to chill your drinks down to just the perfect temperature to be enjoyed without needing to add ice and dilute the flavour."

Tali paused, pursing her lips, "Err... anyway, what was I saying? Yes. Changing yourself for your date is the recipe for an unhappy relationship so don't do that. Also, don't do anything stupid like trying to make her jealous. Let her know you are interested. If she's not interested back, don't get upset, offended or anything like that, smile and carry on. If at first you don't succeed, try to show her why you're worth her time and then have another shot."

Ascot Rider

“It’s a superpower,” Ascot said to Kristen, still in a whisper. “It probably means you can do something superhuman like transform into a machine - Maybe a military vehicle. Also, people are rarely alone in more ‘realistic’ stories of people with superpowers - They usually have at least one other person with said powers.”

Then to Jack, “Obviously not. I think ‘Tali’ is hiding something and she invited all of us.”
Sorry for my behavior, P2TM.

Sofie Elizabeth

“But why?” David asks, a lone feather of two, and close friend to Sofie. “There is no why. There is only do.” Sofie responses back, standing in David’s garage. David, who is wearing a white t-shirt and jeans, looks at Sofie. “Are you sure?” David questions. Sofie nods, “You still owe me for taking care of Jimmy last summer. Remember?”

David stares at Sofie, who’s dorning a jacket in the cold. “I guess. I’ll get those speakers on the truck. Don’t get into trouble now.” Sofie laughs as David searches in his garage for his old speakers. “This’ll take a minute or two.” David pokes, pulls, pushes aside various junk that laid in the garage. Not too long after, David comes across his torn-down speakers. Sofie pops up from behind. “Think that it will work?” Sofie asks David.

“They might be a bit damaged, but it’ll work. I’m sure of it.” David ensures Sofie. David slowly pulls the speaker out of their crozy spot. Once out in the open, David reaches down to the bottom of the speaker, wrapping his fingers at the edge, carefully lifting the heavy speaker. Sofie moves aside to avoid hitting into David. “Damn, I forgot how heavy this thing is..” David goans. David places the speaker on the back-ramp of the truck. “That’s one. I need to get the other one up here.” David looks around the garage. “I also need to get the power supply and cables. Yeah, yeah...Give me a few moments, Sofie.”

After a few moments…

David plugs the power cable to the speaker. “Ok, I got everything in order now. You should be able to jack in your phone into the back of the speaker.” David points to a certain spot on the backer of the speaker, a jack. “Here.” David teaches Sofie.

Sofie shortly takes out his cable jack and plugs his phone into the speaker. “Time to test this baby out.” Sofie says as he goes to his youtube app. David looks behind Sofie, wondering what Sofie will play. “Ram...Ranch?” David questionly asks. Sofie laughs out loud. David looks at Sofie wit a concern smile. “I’ll get into the truck.” David says, opening the door to the driver seat.

Sofie rushes into David’s house and then into David's room, grabbing his maid outfit. Sofie dresses quickly before heading to the back of the truck. “Why do you have to wear that?” David questions. “It adds to the experience.” Sofie says, grinning.

David drives the truck out of his garage and heads over to the shoreline, where the party is being held. It took only thirty minutes to get there. David passes the parking lot and goes on the beach sands. Sofie could be seen in the back of the truck, phone in hand. Sofie, with the push of a finger, plays Ram Ranch by Grant MacDonald. Sofie grabs his ear muffs and places them on. The speaker plays, “EIGHTEEN NAKED COWBOYS IN THE SHOWERS AT RAM RANCH…..”

The sound volume, it’s loud, very loud. Anyone or thing on the beach would hear it, even from a far distance. The lyrics describes eighteen naked cowboys committing various acts of homosexual within a place known as Ram Ranch. Sofie laughs off his ass. He can’t hold it, this was pure gold for him. The peak of comedy, or as Sofie names it, comedy heaven.

Alis in Prefeton
Beach Party

“Come along, Cheshire!” Alis Priddy chastised her cat as she walked towards the beach party that was happening after sunset. “We don’t want to be late.” Her Grey Tabby Cat seem to hiss in mild irritation as his green eyes shined brightly in the night. The shadows from the trees hiding his body from the moonlight. However, Alis’s pet still begrudgingly followed her trails clearly unfamiliar with walking as a new exercise.

Being a beach party, Alis figured she should wear a two-piece blue and white strapless bikini underneath her red jacket. If it weren’t for that red jacket, her black choker and scarf tied around her hair to resemble bunny ears would’ve made the Welsh girl look like she belonged in a porn video. Her open-toed sandals tapped the ground with every step as Alis and her cat walked closer to the beach.

Already Alis could hear the sound of music played loudly and chatter indicating that she had nearly arrived. The light from the fire could be seen above the trees and the girl navigated her way to the source.

“Let’s meet some new people.” Alis beamed as she picked up Cheshire off the ground. The Grey Tabby seem scornful of the idea as he dug his furry paws into her chest. “Come now, Cheshire! No need to be shy.”

Cheshire was getting awfully irritated as the music at the party was cranked all the way up to ear-deafening volumes. Even Alis felt her brain vibrating and it was giving her a headache. Despite her cat on the verge of clawing her to escape, Alis manage to make her way to the clearing where the fire pit is. She fell on the sand as Cheshire bolted out of her arms and ran into the shadows.

“Cheshire! Cheshire! Come back!” Alis shouted as she clenched her ears and rolled on the sand as the earrape continue to feed her migraine. Time slowed to a crawl as she could only watch the fire grew to fill her vision. It seems the entire fire pit itself seem to grow an inch in diameter with the stones being a few centimeters larger.

“Cheshire!” Alis cried on the sand, her wails drowned by the loud music, “Come back! Please! Don’t leave me alone!”

Jack Brekker

As Jack and the others pondered what the powers could be, Jack heard a most peculiar sound. A cat's meow, to be precise. He looked around and saw a cat sitting on the beach, a grey tabby. He turned to the others, but decided against calling attention to it. At around the same time, he heard some idiot blaring Ram Ranch, a song he admittedly knew by heart, and a girl start to scream. As he picked out "Cheshire" over the blaring music, he quickly made the connection that whoever's cat this was was the one screaming.

"Cut that fucking music!", he yelled with all his considerable voice, as he dropped to a crouch and approached the cat, picking it up and petting it a few times. He doubted the thing liked the music so loud, but there wasn't much to be done about that. He looked around for the cat's owner, and quickly spotted her near the firepit, rolling on the sand. She didn't seem to be having a good time, to say the least. He carried the cat back to her, and made sure to avert his eyes from her... midsection.

"Hey, I'm pretty sure this is your cat," he said with a smile he hoped was warm. "Are you alright?", he asked.

"Should I be concerned y'all haven't called the cops or no?" Steve asked considering making a run for his truck.
"Ram Ranch Lit, so what do we do? I've never really been to a party!" Steve said getting nervous again. Than he saw the girls in the bikinis. "Shit I'm so sorry I didn't know y'all were indecent!" Steve exclamed turning bright red and looking at his boots. Than he remembered baywatch. "Jesus I'm an idiot of course y'all are going to be half naked it's a fucking beach party!" Steve said felling like a moron, he just embarrassed himself in front of the most popular kids in school.

Connor Vale

What is this song, and why is it so frickin loud? Connor thought annoyingly as he approached the bench party and covered his ears with his hands. To think he was late with getting here only to hear... whatever this music is. Maybe coming here was a bad idea, but everyone would be here today and while he would rather spend time at home. Working on his writing, playing video games, or something else. He felt that it was good to get out of the house, and he was invited to this party. That and his friends, the few he has were bound to be here too. Connor was wearing his regular clothes, a green t-shirt, brown shorts, and wearing his sandals. He did not plan on swimming today but, who knows how this party will go.

Anyway, hopefully, this music will die down soon, and he will find his friends. Though so far, Connor could not see any of his friends when he arrived. He recognized some people from school as he walked around the beach party. Jack, Ascot, and wait. Connor stopped in his tracks and squinted inquisitively at the scene, why is Jack holding a cat? And that looks like Alis and is that her cat? Connor wondered as he watched and realized that he was starring at them and looked away. Not wanting to draw attention to himself and stayed for a bit at the firepit. Watching the fire dance and the wood crack as the fire burns. Feeling the warmth of the fire and not stand too close to the fire. Then a thought popped into his head that he did not want. It was about his power the sight as Connor is calling it and how the fire would look with the sight. Thinking about his power is the last thing he wanted, so rather than entertain the idea. He crushed it and sent it far from his mind.

Having had enough at the firepit, Connor walked around some more. Still not finding any of his friends, he pondered on what to do next. He could still try to find and friends and hang out with them. Or he should do something that he finds to be hard. Talk to someone new, but who would he talk to? Connor does not recognize everyone at the party, and maybe he could try to speak with the ones that he knows. But, it would be out of the blue, and what would they talk about? Connor was not sure but, after a minute of thinking about it while walking around. He decided on finding his friends, so he continued walking, scanning the faces of the crowd, and would continue doing this unless someone was to stop him and talk to him.
