Jack Brekker

Jack had been silent, mostly trying to stop blushing, when Steve spoke up. He was actually glad that the conspiracy theorist had spoke; gave him a chance to get his wit back.

"I'm thinking maybe, just maybe, if a plague ridden body infected with what may be the Black Death 2: Electric Boogaloo turns up, the wonderful elected officials of this town might just call the CDC. CDC calls the military, tells 'em to make sure the plague stays where it is, yeah? And besides, what possible reason could we have to not trust the military? I may not agree with all their operations, but I doubt we're gonna get disappeared, so as long as we keep our powers on the down low."

Jack almost laughed, until he remembered his boyfriend probably agreed with Steve. That stifled the coming laugh in his throat.

"It's still kind of odd how fast they got there, could be worse they could have killed all of us just for being near the body like in the movies!" Steve pointed out with an awkward laugh. "So what do we do now?" He asked everyone.

Jack Brekker

Jack gave a smile at Steve's question. He had the perfect answer, a simple answer to any problem.

"I say we just vibe, get ready for this ball. Speaking of which; Ascot, any suggestions on what we're wearing?," he asked. "Personally, I'm thinking baby blue tuxedo. We'll look fabulous," he said with a chuckle.

Annie O’Cassidy
Fishing in the Junior Pool Succeeds

I gave Connor a thumbs-up, and took a pen and paper out of my backpack once I finished my lunch. I was a very fast eater, so it didn’t take long to knock out my po’ boy. Although Connor was attractive, I wasn’t really interested in joining the whole group, so I figured giving him my number and expecting a text this evening was the best course of action. I crumpled up the zipbloc, and put it back in my bag. I wrote down my number and my email on the note paper, and slid it over to Connor.

“Imma go get some dessert. Text me tonight so we can coordinate outfits ‘n’ stuff~” I said with a wink. I zipped up my lunch bag, and went into the lunch line for some dessert. It’d be nice to treat myself for a job well done.

Mukami Jemiriyah and Kairo Jaceline

Mukami still was laying near the wall when she spotted a new student walking towards her. She spent the last 15 minutes thinking about her entire life story, wondering what was the next step. This was a normal occurrence for Mukami. Her anxiety didn't make that habit any better, but now she could focus on something else entirely. This new student had a certain aura around him. One that commanded attention. Not in a breathtaking sense, but one more akin to mystery. Mukami obviously didn't know the student, but she immediately knew something was different about him. At the very least, Mukami believed the "difference" that made him stand out was quite similar to what made her, Cecil, and the other people at the party stand out. Was it possible he had powers as well?

The student walked with grace, almost bordering an ostentatious display. If there was one word Mukami could use to describe him, it was…confidence. Unlike her, this student didn't seem to care about what was around him. He knew he had what it took. Mukami's eyes crossed path with him, which made her realize just how much she was staring. In embarrassment, she darted her gaze elsewhere, losing her stressball in the process. "Damn it!" Mukami muttered under her breath as she began to reach forward.

The ball rolled across the hall, and the student picked it up, admired it, and gave it back to Mukami. He looked down on her and said, "You look familiar. You're Prefeton's star pitcher, is that correct? Mukami...Jemiriyah?"

Mukami's eyes widened in shock. She knew the town was small, but for a random person she's never seen before to suddenly know her name like an MLB player? "Uh…y-y-yes, I am Mukami," she replied.

"My name's Kairo. Kairo Jaceline. I'm a freshman, but I know I'll make it to the NBA one day. It all begins here, in Prefeton High. Win a few 'chips across the next four years, and the scouts will be all over me."

Once Kairo spoke, he tossed the ball over his shoulders. Mukami caught it and stared in disbelief. Why do I always have the misfortune of meeting the weirdest folks in town? she asked herself.

Kairo thought nothing more of the conversation as he continued on his way to the lunchroom. His sole mission was to introduce himself in the most flamboyant way possible. As the freshman neared the entrance, a devilish smile creeped over his face. He brought his hands to his chest, clenching them. Threads began to form as he surreptitiously observed the cafeteria for his first victim. Luckily, he didn't have to search long. Right next to him were a group of students. Two of them looked almost the same. Twins? Not too far from them was a girl who seemed to be enjoying herself.

To Kairo, it didn't matter whose plate he hit, as long as his strings reached a target. Kairo maneuvered his hands in what he believed was the best position to knock Atalia's tray to the ground. They were thin enough that it wouldn't obvious that he was the perpetrator, so he made a quick movement. In a flash, the threads jumped across the lunchroom and landed near Atalia. With a jerk of his hand, Kairo pulled the tray towards him, moving it off the table.

Nearly instantly, Kairo disintegrated his strings, leaving no discernible trace of his juvenile actions. He turned his attention to the lunch line, and saw a girl wearing a lot of makeup. She's kind of cute for a thot, he thought to himself. Is this that rich girl I've been seeing?

He walked up to Annie and said, "Well, well, well. If it isn't the town's local e-girl." After that introduction, he did a ridiculous mock bow and continued on. "So tell me, Your Imperial Highness, are you buying this lunch with your Twitch salary or your inheritance?"

Muttering under her breath about Maurice’s sense of humor, Luna let things slide for the time being. There were much bigger fish on her plate; this whole dance thing had come out of left field and the thought of such a dedicated social event had the girl quaking in her proverbial boots. Picking an outfit was the easy part, and, knowing her mom, Luna probably had no choice about attending....like how she had been sent out to that beach party.

“Mom’s a lawyer,” she reminded Maurice, “she’s having to teleconference for her cases now, but she doesn’t get a lot of time to take care of herself....” she blushed slightly, “besides, cooking’s fun.”

Luna returned to her sandwich for a few bites before pouring some of the blood orange lemonade into both her own and Maurice’s cups. Casting a quick glance towards the other end of the table, she was wondering where the cat had wandered off to. Her mind thankfully distracted by thoughts of Alis’s cat, she missed Cecil’s approach to the table and taking a seat next to Maurice.

Blinking, eyes wide in surprise as Maurice handled introductions, Luna sat frozen mid bite. Eyes cast downward, her voice caught in her throat when she was addressed directly.

“H-Hi,” she managed to get out in a shy half whisper, glancing toward Maurice for support.

Henry Caldwell
After the corpse ended the party early and closed the island, Henry was feeling a bit bummed out. He hadn't been able to do much socializing and the threat of painful death was always a way to ruin the mood. His foul mood was brightened when he entered the lunchroom and spotted a cat sitting on one of the tables. After greeting Allison, he made his way over to the cat. The cat also happened to be surrounded by people he had managed to meet at the party, making it quite simple to slide into a seat beside it. He reached his hand out to the cat. "Hello there little cutie pie, what's your name?"

Excuse Me?

I was actually having a pretty good day, really, I was. I was treating myself to dessert, and then all of a sudden there was a commotion. I looked, and saw that Atalia had dropped her tray. Odd. She usually was quite graceful. Maybe someone had knocked it by mistake. I had one knockoff airpod in, and was listening Plopi Impari when all the commotion started happening. Just vibing. Got a pretty good catch for the dance, and made excellent time of it too. Someone came behind me, and started talking some pretty interesting smack. As a senior, I figured my time for hearing shit was over. So it was a fun surprise to hear, in the first week back, that someone was feeling bold today. I turned towards him on my heel, and my neck cracked as I did.

“I’m sorry,” I responded through a smile with gritted teeth. I fluttered my eyelashes, and said, “Care to repeat that, hun?”

Allison Clark

Allison focused on her food while the others talked amongst themselves. She was still halfway listening as she ate, making sure she didn't miss anything important. It was mostly about what happened at the party, the plague, and plans for the upcoming dance. Allison, herself, has yet to think about the dance and therefore had no plans. She was fine with this as dances weren't really her thing. She figured she'd be decent at dancing, giving her athletic prowess, but she never liked to. Allison would probably stay at home and workout if no one asked to her go.

Allison was finishing off her first tray when she decided to listen to the twins talk. She was interested in trying that Russian treat that they always talked about. She couldn't pronounce the name, but she figured it would be delicious given their high praise of it. That would have to wait until later, however, as she noticed Nikita's expression. He seemed rather upset by his break up with his ex awhile back and the subsequent prodding by Nikolai.

Allison actually felt kind of sad of Nikita, kinda understanding how he felt. She never had a boyfriend before and as such, never had a break up before. She did, however, know how sad she felt when she lost a tournament in elementary school and thought of it as the same as a break up. So, Allison decided to try and cheer him up.

" Awffff..." Allison paused to swallow the food that was currently in her mouth before continuing. " Awww...does someone need a hug? Hugs usually make me feel better." Allison said as she stood up. She walked over to Nikita and picked him up out of his seat and proceeded to give him a big, crushing hug. His feet never touched the ground in the exchange.

Rei Fujiwara

In the weeks following the beach debacle Rei had been fairly unobtrusive, outwardly behaving as he usually had over the past months at Prefeton. Of course, he had not been ignoring events in Prefeton, or the occurrences that had been reported on the news. The spread of that disease, and the quarantine the island was now under. It would be easy for some to start panicking. Rei was most concerned about simply living a somewhat reasonable life. There wasn't much point worrying about the bigger picture when there was nothing he could do about it. As such, while vigilant, he had kept on doing things as he had before. Of course, he had also been testing his ability to become invisible on a few occasions as well. Other than that, he had just carried on as normal with his online activities, be it the normal stuff he uploaded to Youtube and Niconico, or the ...more clandestine... online content elsewhere.

As usual, the cafeteria during lunchtime was not for those who liked peace and quiet. A flurry of movement as students went to get food and sat down was accompanied by a cacophonous din as various conversations went their course. Combined with the olfactory assault of a myriad array of low-quality food items, it provided a combination that could prove to overwhelm the senses of those with a more fragile disposition. Refocusing his thoughts, Rei moved through the entrance to the cafeteria, veering towards the nearest free seat at a table. Taking a quick glance towards the other teens talking nearby, he maintained a faint smile as he smoothed his skirt and sat down. He'd brought his bag with him. Whether it was food he made himself or something from a shop, it was probably better than the food served in the cafeteria. Unzipping it, he took out some premade spicy chicken wrap, galaxy cookie crumble chocolate bar, and a bottle of fanta. Not the most healthy option, but it was convenient.

While eating, Rei pondered whether or not the impending dance next week was something he should be bothering about. He hadn't been the most sociable at Prefeton, and while he did sometimes hang around at social events, if he didn't have any specific reason to do so, he hadn't taken any particular initiative in socialising and interacting with others. As far as socialising went, Rei was probably more active on the internet than he was in the real world, at least for the time being. Perhaps that would change.

Ascot Rider

Ascot smiled at Ian and Allison, saying, “Thanks, both of you - I’m sure we’ll all have fun!”

He then turned to Jack, continuing to smile as he noticed that his boyfriend was staying faithful to him. Then he responded, “Sure! Baby Blue Tuxedos sound cool!”
Sorry for my behavior, P2TM.

Lunch
Rashaad Pennel

Not bad. Two weeks in at a new school, and already one of the good looking girls had agreed to go out with him. Rashaad could only smile that Atalia had said yes. Of course, he didn't really know why she did, but he didn't really care right now.

Dyelli Beybi wrote:Atalia Bayer

Atalia was just coming up with something funny to say to Allison, preferably something that built up Nikolai a bit, when a voice next to her broke her concentration. She turned to see Rashaad had wheeled along next to her. She'd been wondering who might work up the nerve to ask her to the dance and had idly fantasised about one or two. Rashaad hadn't been one of them, she didn't really know him all that well, but if there was one thing that Atalia really liked in a boy it was when they were willing to take some initiative and chase after what they wanted (which in Rashaad's case was, hopefully, 'Atalia' and not 'any old girl'). She smiled brightly. This could be fun, "Yes! But on one condition."

She leaned across to him conspiratorially, "We're going to practice dancing together so that we kill it on the dance floor. Also, because it's fair to warn you about these things in advance; I am going to spike the punch when nobody is looking. It's practically expected of me."

If Rashaad was smiling when Atalia said yes, he was practically beaming when she said she wanted to practice dancing together, and also that she was planning on spiking the punch. His kind of girl. "I think we're going to have an awesome time then."

How they would dance would be interesting. She standing, and he in his chair. Still, he had mad wheeling skills that few knew about here. Maybe he'd get a chance to show them sometime... except he was interrupted by Russians.

Europa Undivided wrote:Nikolai and Nikita

Nikita had already finished half of the tray when Nikolai pulled out a metal container out from his sling bag. When he opened the box, a beautiful aroma wafted out of its contents. It was pirozhki.

"Did babushka make that?", Nikita asked as he forked a small piece from the pirozhki. "It tastes... Different."

"I did.", Nikolai answered even as he set a tea cup and saucer in the lunch table. He then set a steel box, and pulled out a tea bag from the cardboard.

The box read "Russian Caravan". It was a traditional type of tea imported by caravan from China to Russia in medieval times. Apparently, this was the last thing that their Eastern relatives sent over to Prefeton before the entire planet went down to lockdown mode because of that DAMN plague. Quickly, he poured cold water from his water bottle and began to stir the tea cup's contents.

Just like a stately gentleman.

"I am issuing a challenge to all those who consider themselves to be gentlemen in this school.", he quietly said as he stirred the tea. "Whoever does the Cossack dance on the tune of Polyushke Polye with satisfactory aptitude, I will give him 50 dollars."

Nikita silently took another bite off the pirozhki. "So what is the hashtag that I will place for the challenge in Facebook?"

"Let's do... #CossackDanceChallenge4Pay. How's that? Allison? Atalia? Ian?"

Then... Rashaad came in, wheel and all. Nikolai faintly remembered him from the class registers. "Not one who can do the challenge.", he thought.

Rashaad asked Atalia for a dance, and it seemed that she responded in kind with a "yes", and it appears she had a mischievous whisper with him.

"Tovarisch Rashaad.", Nikita suddenly said as Atalia finished her whispering to Rashaad's ear. "It would be better if you eat with us, da?"...

Rashaad looked up in confusion at Nikita. "Tovar... what? What are you talking about?"

But that conversation didn't get far, because something got his anger up. Or rather, someone.

Jack almost laughed, until he remembered his boyfriend probably agreed with Steve. That stifled the coming laugh in his throat.

When Jack spoke up about "what possible reason could we have to not trust the military," Rashaad just about lost it. His dad was military. He had grown up on army bases. Knew bunches of soldiers - well, knew them as well as an army brat could. But to hear him disrespect his dad only angered him. So he called Jack out. "What do you mean, 'What possible reason could we have to not trust the military?' You bein' sarcastic or something? My dad's in the military, and I've spent most of my life growing up on military bases. I'd probably go into the military myself, if it weren't for... things." (Rashaad never wanted to use his disability as an excuse, and that was getting close to it there.)

Of course, the conversations came to a halt when Atalia's tray flew out from under her - by what looked like a floating string. Rashaad groaned, then got some napkins on the table to clean up the spilled drinks. Had one of these goons done this to his date? If he found out, they'd be having a conversation with him that they wouldn't like.

Kristen Lane

She had been picking at her food and hadn't noticed Malcom sitting down. When he spoke up, she snapped out of it and sat up more.

Oppermenia wrote:Malcom Jule

Malcom was in his own head, thinking about everything that had been going on. He needed to figure it all out, but he couldn't. They were all just teenagers. It made him uneasy, until Kristen arrived at the table, sitting next to Steve. He smirked.

Not much had happened between them since the beach. He hadn't gotten the chance to get together with her, though he wanted to. He hardly knew her, but there was something about her that he liked. This was perhaps the first person he really liked, that he wanted to actively talk to. He shot her a smile. "Hey. How's it going?"

Kristen liked the gangly, shy guy. She thought she did, anyway. Not that they had bumped into each other much at school. And after school, she was always running.

"Hey, Malcom. Things are... things are ok."

And she felt guilty immediately. Malcom was one of the two people who had told her his ability, and had not betrayed her when she told hers. She felt like she should say something else.

Breathing out harder, Kristen glumly said, "Well, it's not really ok. Some jerks on the football team and some people who are on cross country with me were messing around with me during lifting. Just, putting weights in my bag or splashing me with water so I could demonstrate my 'super powers,' thanks to loudmouth Ascot over there." She glared at Ascot, who was beaming with Jack about going to the dance together. They had no shame.

Looking back at Malcom again, she said, quieter, "But I found out what I do. You can't tell anyone, but I'm really fast." She hoped he wouldn't tell anyone.

It didn't help that Maurice, Cecil and Luna were close enough to hear...

"Oh, damn," Malcom said. "That sucks, I'm sorry. Yeah, some people in this school can be real jerks." He inhaled and exhaled, thought not noticeably. He was trying his best to hide his nervousness. This was really the first time he was being this assertive, which was any introvert's nightmare. And then, Kristen told him her ability. He lowered his voice. "Whoa, that's... wow. Don't worry, I won't tell anyone. I'm not an Ascot, if you know what I mean."

Nikita and Nikolai

The Trail of the Cracked Spine

One moment they were happily chatting on the table. In the next, Atalia's tray came flying off the table. What the...

Nikita had just used up a small amount of tissue paper when he felt being picked up without effort from his seat. As his mind was quite preoccupied at the moment, he didn't really notice that his feet had left the earth until a few moments later.

It was Allison, that big, strong junior with years of kickboxing behind her. This woman was stronger than either one of them, and her ability to effortlessly pluck people out of their seats was apparent here.

Nikolai quietly and slowly turned around while puckering his lips upwards, trying to hide his blushing as he kind of saw himself in there. It didn't help that they looked alike, and he was both slightly jealous and relieved. For one, he liked Allison, and for two, he loved Nikita more. "Weeeelll... I didn't expect that.", he muttered lowly under his breath. "I wonder when I'll get that."

Meanwhile, Nikita didn't say a word until Allison let him down, upon which he muttered a single thanks with a sincere expression and sat back down beside his brother.

"So, feeling better now?", Nikolai asked.

"Yes.", was Nikita's simple reply. "Ah, Allison.", He turned back to the girl. "Thanks... For that."

Nikolai only looked on, smiling while taking sips from his tea. "You make me jealous...", he quietly said as he took another sip. "That reminds me, who do you plan to dance with tonight?"

"No idea who.", Nikita admitted. "Who do you think I should dance with?"

"Not me.", Nikolai joked.

Nikita frowned. "You brute.", he said, lightly slapping Nikolai's shoulder. "We may always cuddle but that doesn't mean I'd ever think of you as being a partner in a ballroom dance."

Nikolai laughed, almost hysterically. "Nyet, nyet, brother, maybe just have Kristen as your partner, eehhh?"

"Who?"

"Another of the girls that I am sure has a massive crush on you.", Nikolai chuckled at himself. "Actually, I think one half of the girls of the school fancy you, and the other half on me."

"Err... How should I put it..."

"No, just ask her out.", Nikolai said, wrapping his arms on top of Nikita's shoulders. "I am quite sure she'll accept. Da?"

"Da.", Nikita answered quietly just for his brother to lean in to kiss his cheek with an audible 'muah'.

"What are you waiting for? Adelante!"

"That's 'sail on'..."

"Yes, that is what I am actually saying. Now go! Meanwhile I will think about who I can have as well."

Sofie Elizabeth
(Note, I did not proof read this. Expect grammar/English issues.)

Weeks before the beach party…..“Heh. That’s nice.” Sofie surfed the interwebs, mainly on Amazon and other shipping sites for the time being. Astolfo figures was typed into the search bar. A list of Astolfo figures showed up that ranged from price to price, twenty dollars, two-hundred dollars, and everything in between. Sofie did not settle for cheap. Sofie brought a series of high-priced high-quality Astolfo figures. Everything from Astolfo in a bikini, Astolfo in his battle uniform, Astolfo in casual clothing, etc. All of the Astolfo. Not only Astolofo, but Chloe von Einzbern, Illyasviel von Einzbern, and Rin Tohsaka, from Prisma Illya as well. An upward cost of a two-thousand dollars for the whole series of figures. A hefty cost, but not that much in the grand scheme of things due to Sofie’s mother’s income, and the amount given to Sofie in her debit. The shipment took a few weeks to get to Sofie’s house, but it was worth it. Sofie planned give to Rei at some point, but never knew when. The beach party was a given opportunity, but Sofie had other plans for the party at the time. So, Sofie waited. After the whole incident on the beach, Sofie decided that lunch was a good time to give Rei the gifts. Besides from Rei, there is also everyone else.

Sofie had a notepad, a list of people’s names, and what they want. Sofie forgot when he asked people what they wanted, but that does not matter now. What matters now is the goods that Sofie has brought. First was Cecil. She wanted just a pack of cigarettes, never told what brand. Sofie had David, a full grown adult with kids, go get the cigarettes. A pack of Natural American Spirit Black, cost about twenty dollars for the thing, pricey. Annie on the other hand was much more simpler, a carton of ice cream. What kind of ice cream? Never told. So, Sofie went on to buy a lot of Ben and Jerry's, sixteen-oz to one-pint. Ben and Jerry's One Sweet World Ice Cream, Ben & Jerry's Minter Wonderland Ice Cream, Ben & Jerry's Oat Of This Swirled Ice Cream, the whole lot. For Maurice, he asked for stream gift cards, sweets, and a MINI. Sofie had no way to get a MINI, Sofie could get the gift card and sweets. A one-hundred dollar steam gift card and two bags worth of hard and soft candy then for Maurice. Allison wanted new MMA gloves. Sofie found a pair of Fairtex Sparring Gloves at the local market, about sixty-four dollars. That’ll do.

Nikolai and Nikita, Nikolai wanted a pack of CDs from Russian cinema, and Nikita wanted a T-34-85. Nikolai’s gift was more easier to do. All Sofie did research a lot about Russian movies and literature, and then burn a lot of CDs and then label said CDs before packing them into a disk container, seventy CDs in total. As for Nikita, Sofie got a T-34-85 keychain, and then copied primary source on the T-35-85 design, development, research papers, and production. Ascot asked for video games and books, but the details, she never gave. Given the mass volume of games and books out there, Sofie simply brought two one-hundred gift cards, one for the local book store and one for stream.

Forward to today, Sofie has the job of packing all the items, wrapping them in gift wrap, and then getting them to the people in the middle of lunch, which is not an easy job. Sofie is wearing a plain white t-shirt, short jeans, crappy old shoes, and had his long hair kept in good condition. A hefty backpack Sofie is carrying. First is Rei, who is sitting by his lonesome at a table, eating a spicy chicken wrap. Sofie causally makes way towards Rei. “Oh hey Rei, umhm...I got some gifts for you.” Sofie says, placing his thicc backpack on the table, unzipping it. Sofie takes out five sizable boxes, wrapped in purple paper, and places them on Rei’s table. “I like your style.” Sofie places a lollipop in front of Rei. “Grape.” There is a paper attached to the shaft of the lollipop, Sofie’s number. “I’ll like to talk with you. Also, I sent the rest of the figures to your house. I could not carry all of them with me.” Sofie winks at Rei before moving on. Given if Rei opens the wrapped boxes right now on the table, all of the figures would be Astolfo in a white bikini, doing various actions and posses. One of them more lewder than the other.

Sofie moves on to Annie. “Got some news for you, Annie.” Sofie pulls out a single cartoon of ice cream, vanilla. “I shipped about thirty cartons of Bery and Jerry’s to your ship. I think it just arrived...So...Have fun…” Sofie nods to Annine, leaving towards Nikolai and Nikita. Sofie hands over a keychain of a T-34-85 to Nikita and then the copies of the primary sources. “I can’t really get you a real tank, but I tried. I hope you reading Soviet documents.”

Sofie looks towards Nikolai. Sofie pulls forth a spindle CD container. “I have managed to get seventy CDs labeled in Russian. Those CDs have all Russian films that are deemed to be classics by Russian critics.” Sofie pushes the container towards Nikolai. “Have fun.” As for Annie’s gift, Sofie sent the MMA gloves in a brown package to Annie’s house. A paper attached to the package, saying “Hope you like this new gloves.”

Sofie walks towards Cecil’s table, which also have Maurice, Alis, and Juna. He waves to them all. “Hey Cecil, I got something for you.” Sofie sits next to Cecil as he places his backpack on the table. He slips a wrapped pack of Natural American Spirit onto Cecli’s lap from his pocket. “Enjoy.” Sofie says. “And for you, Maurice.” Sofie reaches into his pocket once more and throws a one-hundred dollar steam gift card towards Maurice. “I got more for you.” Sofie takes out two bags worth of candy and throws them towards Maurice. “Both soft and hard candy in those bags. Plus a lot of chocolate too.” Sofie smiles.

Sofie turns his attention towards Alis. “So..I was wondering if you would like to join me at the dance. I’ll think that it’ll be fun for both of us...What you say?”

Rashaad Pennel

Of course, the conversations came to a halt when Atalia's tray flew out from under her - by what looked like a floating string. Rashaad groaned, then got some napkins on the table to clean up the spilled drinks. Had one of these goons done this to his date? If he found out, they'd be having a conversation with him that they wouldn't like.

Atalia shot to her feet when the tray went flying. She looked shocked for a moment, then hurt, then angry, "Who the hell did that?" she demanded, fuming. While Atalia was nice, inclusive and ostensibly the very model of self-esteem, there were some things that could knock her off her pedestal. Something like throwing her meal everywhere, that seemed specifically designed to upset her did exactly that; it showed that someone really didn't like her, despite the effort she made to be friends with everyone, "Anyone want to own up?" she demanded, "That was mean and unnecessary. If you have a problem with me, you can just say it."

She looked around the lunch hall, looking for someone sniggering at her expense, ready to give them a venomous piece of her mind, but she didn't see anyone. She did notice Rashaad cleaning up some of her mess though. She flushed, feeling embarrassed that he was doing that while she was raging impotently at the room in general, "Sorry!" she said, lowering her tone and grabbing a handful of serviettes to help him, "And thank you... Also, your house or mine?" she said, switching the topic back to her plan for a practice.

Allison Clark

" You're welcome, Nikita. Glad to help." Allison replied as she set him down and went back to her seat. She continued eating her food while watching the twins.

Ever since she's known them, Nikita and Nikolai have always been close, maybe too close. They're always seen kissing each other on the cheek and clinging to one another. She didn't know if it was part of their culture or what. All she knew was that it was an interesting display.

" With how you two act around each other, I'd figure you two would go together. Are all siblings as close as you two are? I'm an only child so I wouldn't know. As for the dance, I'll probably stay at home. Dances aren't really my thing." Allison chimed in as she took some sips of water.

When Atalia's tray flew out from under her, some of the slop on it splashed on Allison's favorite jacket. This set Allison's usual cheery attitude to one of anger. She's always had a short fuse and it helped her in the ring, but here was not the best place for anger. In a school cafeteria with students and no safety precautions, Allison could hurt someone. Allison was disciplined enough to not just beat the shit out of someone, but she was going to make sure they knew that they messed up.

Allison immediately stood up from her chair and began to yell. " Hey!! Whoever did that, that's fucked up dude!! You got my favorite jacket dirty! Just come clean and apologize like man...or woman!" Allison looked around the cafeteria to see if she could spot someone. When she didn't, she sat back down and began to clean off her jacket with napkins, hoping it wouldn't cause a stain.

Nikolai and Nikita

Nikolai drank the rest of his tea cup and set it down with calm disposition. "No, it's just us. Mostly him. I do like to think that we as siblings are unique. Perhaps it's because we are encouraged to express ourselves. However, I would rather not have Nikita as a dance partner. He is... horrible at it."

"What's this, Nick? You tell me to ask out Kristen and now you tell Tali and Alli here that I am bad at it?"

Nikolai only winked. "Just admit it, dorogoy."

"Сука."

"Either way... Well, I was about to ask you to be my dance partner tonight... But, err, it seems that I have to... Uhh..."

Then that was the moment Atalia's tray went flying into the ground. It wasn't much of a damaging affair..m until it bumped over and dragged the teacup along with its fault, breaking the expensive chinaware on the floor.

Nikolai scowled, and then slowly went over the shattered porcelain. "Nyet, nyet, nyet, this thing cost 5,000 rubles for Sasha to buy in St. Petersburg and 200 rubles to send over to this country.", he stated with a quiet yet venomous edge. "This is more valuable than your life."

"Alright, who is the drunkard of Jerusalem that decided to flip a girl's tray for no reason at all?", Nikita questioned. "Pig's snout, mare's arse, slaughterhouse cur.", he began, slowly. "Fool of all the world and underworld, an idiot before every deity, unchristened brow, grandson of the Serpent. Traitor to the state, heretic to the church, goat rapist of Alexandria, lizard sucker of Arabia. Maneater of Mexico, Yokai of Nippon, screw thy self. Whoever flipped this woman's tray is all the above along with a thousand other heinous titles. Remember this all your days."

Nikolai picked up the broken porcelain, before putting them all in a ziplock. “Well, I guess I’ll just have to improvise with this... I might as well have someone do a Kintsugi on this.”

As he finished, Nikita took another piece of piroshki and bit it down quite aggressively. “Anyway. On the topic of dancing, I was thinking if I can... err, have you as my partner... tonight, Allison.”

Alis was pleasantly surprised that Sofie approached her with a proposal to be partners for the dance. She blushed lightly at his generosity. Cheshire, meanwhile, was dumbfounded. This trap has the audacity to ask his owner out?

"You seriously not considering a dance with that gender-confused anime weeb?!" Cheshire hissed as he moved away from Henry's hand to growl at Sofie. "I mean, look at him! I seen crossdressers in Thailand that's more feminine than him!"

"Cheshire, don't be rude!" his owner scolded as she grabbed hold of him. "Don't be afraid of Cheshire, Sofie. He's just worried that he might not attend the party with me."

The grey cat would've hotly contested that notion since he could have easily wandered into the dance room on his own but he was too busying hissing and cursing to argue.

"So, are you gonna were a dress too?" Alis asked Sofie while she held Cheshire down in order to prevent him from scratching Sofie.

“Don’t worry. I dealt with worse.” Sofie stares at Cheshire. “Interesting cat. What breed?”

“And, uhm, yeah. I’m going to wear a dress.” Sofie reaches into his left pocket, pulling out his black Iphone 9. Sofie goes to his photo app and scrolls. “Give me a second...Here.” Sofie hands over his phone towards Alis. On the screen of the phone is a library of two-hundred photos. The photos themselves are Sofie in various dresses and poses. Anything from a simple black tunic to a shoulder dress to an empire dress, and everything else that the women’s fashion industry has to offer. “If you want, I can give you a dress too. Just ask.” Sofie smiles at Alis. “So?”

Allison was busy cleaning off her jacket when Nikita initiated his rant. She didn't pay it much attention, opting to focus on her jacket. It was a vintage leather motorcycle jacket that her grandfather gave her as a gift for a local tournament win a few years back. She's worn it every day since then, treating it with the upmost care. So of course, she did what she could to clean it.

When Nikolai mentioned her name and asked her to the dance, Allison immediately looked up at him. At first she was confused, unsure of what she had just heard. When she realized that he did indeed ask her to the dance, Allison devoted her full attention to him.

" Oh...ummm...yeah sure, we can go. Nothing wrong with friends going to the dance together. " Allison said with a genuine smile.

Kairo heard the reactions to the commotion he caused, and smirked. Focusing on Annie, however, quickly wiped away that smile. She was taller than he expected. While he stood at six foot three inches, she was only about an inch or two shorter. Not only that, but Annie dared Kairo to light the fuse for this explosion. Might have taken it a little too far, but I can't back down now, he thought.

Backing far enough to allow for either an easy escape or use for his threads, he put his hands up in a surrender position and forced another smile. "Oh, my apologies, Daphne Blake from Scooby Doo, 'ol David Bowie from Life on Mars lookin' ass. Did I strike a nerve? I was just saying I wasn't expecting prissy rich girls to be going down that route, if you know what I mean."

When the twins made a fuss, Kairo was tempted to whip around and announced himself, but he forced those thoughts down. Instead, he waited to see how much Annie could be pushed. If things got a little heated, he could take care of himself. Kairo was sure of that

Ascot Rider

Ascot took Sofie’s gifts, put them in his jacket pockets, and said, “Thank you very much, Sofie!” before deciding to, sigh, follow Jack’s lead with whatever happened… Until a certain prank spilled Atalia’s tray’s contents over her and Allison.

He grit his teeth, and looked around for the person who did it, not finding anyone. He then whispered to Jack, “The world is in danger from plague and people keep thinking of themselves.” Then, to Rasheed, he followed up with, “Rasheed, it’s okay, Jack did not mean anything anti-military. And I’m going to face the person who did this.”

Kairo, after getting Allison's ire, had begun teasing Annie, trying to provoke her into rage - What an asshole. Walking up to the basketball player, Ascot says to him, knowing full well his disadvantage in height, “Stop that. Just stop. I don't really know Annie and I already have someone in my life, but just stop.”

A frown as he looked around. “Anyway, who spilled food on Allison?! If the one who did it is here, they should come forward and face me!”
