Brazil was a disaster at the time and the states of Sao Pablo and Minas Gerais would probably end up independent, Argentina at the time was basically an oligarchy and Buenos Aires would probably become a successor state, places in Argentina such as Cordoba or Patagonia would become independent due to their strong regional identity.

Brief Description of your People: The people of Union are diverse and united at the same time. While nearly all of them fall under the term of Slavic many do not consider themselves to be one nationality if that be Polish, Ruthenian, Ukrainian or other minority but rather recognise each other under common Brotherhood. The most of the people of the union are noted as hardworking and devoted to the cause of Communism, to them the dream of a Communist Utopia can only be achieved through the active work of the Proletariat and spreading the Communist cause to all. This idea taught to them by the central committee of the Communist Party through the means of propaganda
Brief Description of your Culture: For many in the union they see themselves as a collective culture with the old ideas of the world such as nationalism being simply ideas to divide and stop the people from achieving their Communist Utopia. The people of the Union do not see themselves as associated to a national identity but a collective of people working for each other. This may be due to efforts by the Union to create a unified culture so to speak as making Esperanto the national language, rewriting old national heroes to be examples of Communist bravery and the crushing of nationalist thought.

Army: The Army of the Union, officially the Proletariat's Army and simply called the Red Army is like most things under the direct control of the Internationalist Communist Party. It is comprised of around 203,000 able bodied soldiers all with decent amount of training and equipment. The Red Army's military doctrine comes mainly from experiences of its intervention into the Russian Civil War and the Great War, it focus its ability to strike deep into enemy territory using mobile infantry such as cavalry, trucks and armoured cars and with small amount of tanks entering its army however it is still yet to test itself. The Red Army also focuses on communication with infantry being able to receive commands clearly and quickly. The Red Army shares similar equipment to the old Russian Empire, Mosin-Nagants are the main rifle of the red army with the Maxim Machine gun being their support infantry weapon.
Navy: The Navy is near no existence with most of the Russian ships either defecting to the Bolsheviks in the North or remaining loyal to some sort of old Russian government. The Proletariat's Navy has only 12 warships with 8 of these being support vessels. The Four remaining ships the destroyers Volodarski, Zheleznyakov, the cruiser Rossia (Renamed to Kommeniov) and the gun boat Krasnoye Znamya

Brief Description of your Economy: The Union's economy is complex, currently the country is going through a period of industrialisation however this is taking its time. Like most Communist nations the need for a strong industrial base has been a top priority for the Union Leadership. Since the creation of the Union, it has pursed active land reform and redistribution, taking land from Russian, Austrian, Hungarian and German landowners. Through a period from around 1922 to 1932 the Union sought to improve the agricultural sector with it being the basis of developing a strong industrial base in the cities. This has seen success as modern technology has saw people move into cities wanting new jobs. However the Achilles heel to this plan has been the lack of industrial machinery available to the union and as such smaller factories have had to make their own machines. In general most of the countryside is still mostly farmlands and the country relies on the food in order to continue its plans for industry.
Goals: To spread Communism further and further and hopeful to the entire world.
History: The history of the Union can be traced back to the creation of the Western Ukrainian People's Republic or just before it to be exact. With the onset of the Bolshevik Revolution in October and the collapse of the Austo-Hungary Empire, western Ukraine would seek to declare its independence but with the war and impending plague the area would need strong leadership. The Lviv group was a small group of Communist Exiles that had been exiled to Paris, they had been in many talks with the Russian Bolsheviks but were not official members due to the fact that they saw the Bolshevik group as being solely Russian and the Lviv group being a mixture of Polish, Ukrainian and Romanian exiles who called the old area of Ruthenia their home.

This group would quickly change its ideology seeing that Communism was a joint effort and that the old ideas of nationality and ethnicity would not be part of their new revolution since they had seen the divisions it was causing back home. To reflect this the Lviv group would change their name to the International Communist Brotherhood and advertised its self to all people who wished to achieve a Communist Utopia regardless of race, religion or nationality. The group would return to Lviv in 1917 and set about starting a revolution, with the Russian Bolshevik army to busy fighting in Russia the Lviv group and the local communist parties (The Communist Party of Western Ukraine and the Polish Communist Party) would join together to form a united Revolution. On the 2nd of February 1918, armed citizens across the cities of Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk, Mukachevo and Khmelnytskyi would all rise up and take local government offices and strongholds. By the 10th of February most of the area of the former Galicia–Volhynia would be under control by the the joint Communist party, with the declaration of the People's Republic of Ruthenia taking place on 24th of February just as the first cases of influenza began to reach the border of the new republic. In the months that followed the new republic was nearly ripped apart as disease gripped the nation, tensions ran high as fights broke out among local nationals.

The disease would push the people to the limit as many cried out for change. During this time the International Communist Brotherhood would take advantage of this pushing itself high up in the new nation. One man would stand above the rest, a Bulgarian by the name of Alexander Kommeniov would lead the brotherhood to new heights. With Tension high amongst the different people Kommeniov and the Brotherhood took the chance, spouting out the ideas of nationalism were leading to death, that the war that caused this plague were due to the old ideas of the world and in order to create a perfect world they must all unite and throw off the shackles of imperialism and capitalism. The local communist parties had descended into simple nation parties and no longer represented the views they once had. As mid 1919 rolled around the International Communist Brotherhood stud alone as the biggest and largest party in the People's republic of Ruthenia. Using the war and the plague as a political tool that soon rallied the whole populace to their side and ideas one of which was rapid expansion of the Republic. Uprising south in Moldavia and Odessa would allow the Red Army as it was now being called to advance, during the assault the International Communist Brotherhood would enter talks with the Bolsheviks to officially federate and create a unified communist party (The Comintern). The white army had not properly taken over the region and the Red Army quickly advanced before the influenza would halt their advance. It is believed that during the advance south the influenza would strike the south Russian region stopping Stalin's invasion.

By 1920, the Red Army looked to expand again with an invasion north into the heartlands of Poland. The people their suffering the same problems they had in Ruthenia called for radical change and with the International Communist Brotherhood actively supporting Communist unrest they would force the Polish Republic to break with the Red Army invading to liberate their comrades. This was at the same time Stalin invaded south Russia as a combined operation organised by the Bolsheviks. With the annexation of Poland the country would become known as the Union of the Socialist Republics of Poland and Ruthenia, however the Socialist Republic of Moldavia would be an autonomous region inside the Union. As the year closed the Union began to look inwards and sorting out party politics as well as transforming the nation into a model communist state. But there would start to be tension between the Bolshevik Communist Party and International Communist Brotherhood about what action should be taken. The Brotherhood believed that while the influenza was rampaging across the world the main goal should be look internal, providing support to the people as well as getting underway Socialism and medical care to those effected. Alexander Kommeniov would be the main spokesperson of this stating that while a ceasefire existed the people should be put first to provide a strong base for what he called "Total War on Capitalism", this would involve revolutionising society to be one unified and common unit with the goal of achieving a Communist Utopia. Many in the Bolshevik Party believed in him, most notably Leon Trotsky a high ranking Bolshevik official and leader of the Bolshevik army.

In 1921 as distrust between Bolshevik and Brotherhood members rose, the International Communist Brotherhood would split and reform as the Internationalist Communist Party (ICP) after they gained the name from within the Comintern. After the split, the country was renamed to the Union of Socialist Republics or simply the Socialist Union it would also officially annex the Socialist Republic of Moldavia at the same time. It was after the split as well did the ICP introduce the One Culture Policy, the aim of this policy was to unify the cultures and nationalities of the Socialist Union. This was to be done like earlier mentioned and in turn was pretty successful in the following years as a new united culture began with it showing no basis to one culture or another. Quickly Esperanto became a spoken language regularly typically amongst party members as well as cities with diverse populations. It was also during 1921 did the last bastions of Capitalism be officially destroyed as land redistribution and nationalisation break the power of the ruling classes.

Over the next few years the Union looked inwards, looking to the Plan that now Premier Alexander Kommeniov laid out in his "Total War on Capitalism". The first step was to improve the agricultural sector turning it from a backwater into a modern system through the use of new technology and techniques. From around 1921 to 1926 these improvements would be rolled out across the whole union and would in turn be successful with an increase in productivity and an overall lower labour cost. The next stage would be to create a strong industrial base in the nation however disaster would strike the Union and the Internationalist Communist Party as the leader Alexander Kommeniov would catch the dreaded influenza just as it was dying out in his nation, as Alexander's days were numbered he spent his time appointing his successor as well creating a plan for the advancement of the Socialist Union. On the 1st of September 1927, Alexander Kommeniov would die in the early hours and by mid-day Iosif Tchaikovsky would be sworn in as the 2nd Premier of the Union of Socialist Republics.

Over the next 9 years, Tchaikovsky would continue with the plans that Kommeniov had set out with mixed results. Although the rich oil fields of Lviv were able to power the new industry the lack of industrial expertise and equipment would slow the plans of a industrialised nation. While the amount of industry did increase it was not at the levels of pre-war France or the UK. While the people were happy and content living in the Union many believed that more needed to be done and that the Communist Revolution must be exported as soon as this would lead to a new faction inside the ICP known simply as the Totalists these party members believe in that the spirit of Communism will carry them across the whole world and that there is no need of Kommeniov's plan since the will of people will trample all in it's path. Totalists have become more vocal in recent years and currently a large minority inside the ICP itself. Only time will tell what will happen will the old guard of ICP stay firm and continue their plans or will the Totalists take control and begin their war on the world.

That could work. Why’s he want to maintain u boats anyways? They’re entirely useless but expensive as hell to maintain lmao.

Also, for the Soviet player, I like the app, but because of your atrocious borders it’s denied. It follows no logic whatsoever, and I feel as if you do not understand the territory you have considering you claim most of your population is Slavic yet you own large chunks of Romania and part of Hungary. If you want to be a Soviet country, just be something in the Russian heartland. Alternatively, be a communist Poland or Romania that may own part of Belarus/Ukraine.
