I don’t see the issue with me having Central Asia tbh. Like, I get it’s a massive landmass with a variety of cultures and geographical features that would make it difficult for a distant country to conquer, but I’m thinking of investing into paratroopers then landing in their capital to capitulate them. HOI4 is basically just real life politics tbh.

Using Man in the High Castle Songs and not making the anthem Edelweiss.
I'm beginning to rethink our anti-modern alliance.

Lmao no its not, your troops can’t just march into a random land with no tangible benefit of conquest and then just conquer it. With the Russians close by, that makes things worse for you

Government Info
Government Type: Authoritarian Military Junta
Brief Explanation of Government: The Marinerepublik, for all intents and purposes, is not a republic at all. Basically a Military Junta, power is shared between them, though Raeder has been designated as Führer, meaning officially he has unlimited power over dealing with the various issues of the realm: that is until other members of the junta intervene. However, the junta has slowly been transferring from a military dictatorship into a more political one as the Strasser Brothers and Goebbels have entered the scene. Though they aren’t members of the junta, they have accumulated enough power to the point where they, too, have a seat at the table, and have exerted their own influences (hence the various extremely socialist policies).
So in short, it is a Military Junta/Dictatorship in the process of turning into a Civil/One-Party State Dictatorship.

Population Info
Brief Description of your People: With their individualism and self-independence crushed under the weight of the war, the plague epidemic and now themselves heavily influenced by the Reich's intense new education and propaganda services, the people of the new Reich have been bred to be intensely loyal without question to the new regime. Much of the population had fled north towards the coast, however, there has been a slow migration back south to man abandoned farms and mines.
Brief Description of your Culture: Similar to the sentiments of many soldiers, the people of the new Reich have been brought to see the Kaiser and the old Kaiserist regime as the cause for the many misfortunes suffered during the war as well as many members of the old leadership and has since been seen as outdated and useless. This had led not only to sentiments against the Old Order but also a somewhat anti-monarchy sentiment too, though this isn't as strong. As many of the survivors had been workers at the various dockyards on the coast, the population is surprisingly well versed in craftsmanship and manufacturing, and are very hard working. Many in the regime have also lost faith with their religion, and though there are still some semblances of Christian loyalty, the plague mixed with propaganda has led to much of the population swearing absolute loyalty more to the state than anything else.
Military Info
Army: The Deutsches Heer attempts to continue the legacy of German and Prussian Militarism, with a very militarist society where those who are not working to rebuild the fatherland are sent to the armed forces. Soldiers in the heer are heavily and harshly trained, only limited by equipment (reserved for actual combat), creating iron disciplined soldiers. They have also been educated in military tactics, continuing the proud Prussian legacy of creating fine officers. Due to manpower problems, things have especially been concentrated on the capabilities of the individual soldier and their squad similar to those of the elite Stormtroopers. The Heer has an "elite" corp of 30,000 "Sturmgrenadier," with another 60 thousand "regulars," those these are very well trained as well. The uniform, like that of the later great war, has been reduced in quality to make it as cheap as possible; note, for example, the use of short normal boots rather than traditional German jackboots, or the cut down tunics; though there are many full tunics as well in circulation. Though uniforms often vary per soldier, as many Heer soldiers may instead use scavenged or leftover equipment of better quality found or already owned, this is the standard provided uniform.
Due to the decreased access to machine guns and fuel for vehicles being more sparse than usual, the Marinerepublik has seen fit it re-introduce cavalry units back into the military. These cavalry squadrons carry carbines and pistols but also carry lances and sabres too as the traditional cavalry charge is now once again a somewhat viable option in combat. In total, the Heer retains a core of 15,000 cavalrymen.
Additionally, there is another notable unit called the "Aufklärerjäger," though also popularly known as the "Genesungsjäger" and "Zentauren," whose job is to scout out, do recon on and survey the anarchic lands beyond the borders of the Reich and help in the recovery of said land from any unknown elements which might inhabit it. They also perform general recon and scouting actions, and can also function as commando squadrons when needed, being very proficient in wilderness survival and covert infiltration tactics. Additionally, due to many of the member's backgrounds as former hunters (due to the proficiency of hunters in knowing the land as well as traversing various terrain), many of them are experienced snipers, and are some of the best sharpshooters in the entire Reich. To aid in their duties, they are often given the best horses available, even overruling high ranking officers. Their steeds have become a signature appearance for them, hence the nickname "Zentauren". As of 1936, there are 2,500 Aufklärerjägers serving the Reich.A typical Aufklärerjäger in uniform
Due to the somewhat decent production capabilities of the Marinerepublik, the more common infantry rifles and ammunition are mostly in little actual shortage. Soldiers are mainly armed with a mix of WWI rifles (such as the G98) but also other modified weapons, most notably the latest variation of a carbine version of the G98 labelled the Kar98k (yes, literally the Kar98k). The Heer is also armed with a surplus of left-over MG08s, as well as the significantly rarer MP18, those these SMGs are reserved only for the elite corps. The Heer also has the benefit of artillery, with many of the smaller guns on various scrapped warships, mostly the 88 mm guns, being dismounted and converted into land artillery, often put in makeshift mounts. Though it has no tanks, it does have various armoured cars, either recovered from the Great War or put together from civilian vehicles.
Navy: One notable trait of the Kriegsmarine is its marine arm. The "Marinegrenadier" was first formed from the Seebattailon that garrisoned the various ports in Germany during the First World War as well as the Seebattailon divisions that fought on the Western front and fled. As therefore the only real organised troops that had some original serious experience and veterancy in combat and warfare, the Marinegrenadier have become the elite frontline and ceremonial shock guard of the Reich, with their ranks currently being filled with many Great War veterans, ranging from their late 30s up to their mid-50s. These men have been given the best possible equipment as befits their status as the elite, though this has lead to some tension between them and the regular army. They currently number somewhere in the realm of 20,000.
The current naval assets of the Kriegsmarine are leftovers of the once-mighty High Seas Fleet. Due to a lack of material and the impossibility of maintaining the entire fleet with current resources, a large part of the fleet was either scrapped for material or beached onto the shore as makeshift naval defences and forts, where in many cases much of the ship was stripped anyways for more material. Any ship that isn’t mentioned in the list has been completely scrapped for material except the SMS Baden, which is afloat in Wilhelmshaven as Raeder’s centre of government in the city, but has been stripped of so many components that in all practically, it is simply a floating immobile fortress. All that is left of the fleet is as follows:

Other Info
Brief Description of your Economy: One of the Marinerepublik's biggest products is fish, due to its location on the shore. Fish and the general fishing industry provides the Reich with a large amount of food and resources. The Marinerepublik's also has a large amount of stockpile building material, due to having scrapped many ships of the High Seas Fleet and other sources. This has allowed her to retain some semblance of a notable industrial manufacture sector (also notable due to her shipyards), allowing it to produce machine tools and weapons on a decent scale, though still limited because of the smaller population and lack of too much surplus material and fuel. Recently, however, due to the provisions of Gregor and Otto Strasser, people have begun repopulating the southern areas and agricultural centres to try and rebuild the German agricultural industry into one that could allow the Marinerepublik to be self-sufficient. Relocation programs have so far led to relative success, though only time will tell whether this new venture will assure the Marinerepublik's status as an autarky.
Goals: Reunite Germany and restore her to greater glory, restore the German Reich under the new order.
History: The nucleus of the Marinerepublik would have to have started with the pride of the German Empire, the product of decades of hard work, the crown jewel in its overseas ambition: the High Seas Fleet. Of course, the High Seas Fleet was not so high, ever since it remained in Wilhelmshaven for years on end since the indecisive Battle of Jutland. By 1918, tensions were brewing among the various sailors and officers of the fleet, and upon hearing of the suicidal plan for one last charge at the British naval blockade, the sailors of the High Seas Fleet rebelled in a Socialist uprising. For a brief time, the Socialists and those who opposed them fought viciously; the latter attempting to stamp them out completely. This, however, was abruptly halted by the plague epidemic.
Reports from the frontline of this plague stopped fighting, and as the infected began to arrive, both the Socialists and the opposition quickly secured a truce, realising that only by working together could they stem the incoming tide. The members of the High Seas Fleet, and in general the various naval bases along the entire North-Western coast of the German Empire, coordinated together to try and limit the epidemic as much as possible. This was especially the case in Wilhelmshaven; where effective quarantine zones were established, and many people were barred from entering the city, and those that were allowed access were given thorough and rigorous checks to make sure they weren't infected. Though a notable part of the Wilhelmshaven population fell to the plague, the port city surprisingly got off better than many other populated centres across the German Empire. For years they held out against the oncoming storm. Yet this survival came at a cost, as the High Seas Fleet's willingness to ally with the red rebels lead to the entire fleet being branded as Communists and traitors by the Kaiser regime in Berlin.
This action absolutely enraged the non-Socialist elements of the German Naval Holdouts: was not survival more important at the moment? Could the Kaiser not see that? Many began to rage about the blindness of the Kaiser, the outdatedness of his regime and its corruptness. Slowly, this began to develop into the sentiment that it was his incompetence, as well as that of his various high ranking associate lackeys, that led to not just the Empire's fall to the plague, but the general downturn that the Great War resulted in, rather than the stunning German victory many had thought possible. Though they still loved and hoped for Germany to once more rise out of the ashes, they saw the "Antike Regierung" as having no place in it. So it was ultimately no surprise that when the Kaiser one day rode into Wilhelmshaven, strutting about the place, that a mob of both these Socialists and "Nationalists" crowded him, beat him, and ultimately hanged him before being dispersed by government troops.
It was with the death of the Kaiser that a new government took form. For the first few years of this newfound independence, a "republic" was formed, mainly dominated by Socialist policy and ring leaders who formed a "Wilhelmshaven Soviet" to lead it. Though this new democracy was relatively well received at first, many, especially the more hardline Socialists and the Nationalists saw it as too weak and indecisive, themselves not so eager on the idea of democracy. So in 1927, a coup d'etat, led by the Nationalists, as well as the various Seebattailon soldiers and the limited yet still notably sized Army units that had been allowed into the cities, overthrew the Wilhelmshaven Soviet. Establishing a military junta, the Nationalists began to purge political opponents en masse and integrate the remaining Socialists. It was around this time that the plague epidemic finally began to calm down, and by the end of the 20s it had mostly subsided. To the people, it had to be a sign.
The authoritarianism and militarism of the Nationalists and the workers-centric and welfare ideas of the Socialists soon combined together to create a new ideology: the ideology of "Neu Bestellung" or "New Order". With one Erich Raeder having been "crowned" "Führer" of the Marinerepublik, and surrounded by his fellow junta members, he went on a program of rebuilding and reorganisation of society and the republic. The military was more concentrated on and the Marinerepublik finally began once more expanding back inland into former German lands, integrating more people. Though there were at first organisational issues with this integration and reorganisation due to the more military orientated skills of Raeder and his junta, these soon disappeared entirely upon the appearance of three men who had heard rumours of the recent resurgence of an organised German government in the North-West that wasn’t just non-monarchist, but even Neo-Socialist. These were Gregor Strasser, his brother Otto Strasser, and their protege: a clubfoot named Joseph Goebbels.
Immediately recognised for their talents and intelligence upon being granted entrance into the Marinerepublik, Raeder elevated them into positions from which to begin their work. The Strasser brothers proved essential in the organisation of the Marinerepublik into various regions, each with their own local governments and law enforcement, and an effective and simple command hierarchy. They also proved essential in effectively organising labour and food productions; with Gregor turning the Marinerepublik's labour force into a disciplined and efficient workforce, as well as helping figure out welfare for the people. Goebbels meanwhile, with his natural affinity with fiery speeches and propaganda, entranced the populace to the new ideology and the regime, creating a loyal and fanatic populace, and making the integrating of new peoples that much easier.
Now elevated to very high positions in the new government, thanks to them the new regime has established itself once more upon the German and European theatre. Now with dreams to expand and restore Germany under a New Order, only time will tell in what direction this new Germany goes...
