Yo, and yes, you read the title correctly. I know that Strike Witches RPs haven't been on NS for an astronomically long period of time, but I want to try something a bit more... experimental, you could say. I've always had this thought in the back of mind, of participating in a modern-day SW RP, and constantly wondering what it'd feel like after seeing lots of 1991 Gulf War fanart and admiring it. Eventually, after many delays and discussion with friends, I decided to myself; Why not just run one myself? I already had experience running play-by-post paragraph RPs a lot on discord, but this will likely be my most ambitious project yet. Why, you may ask?
It might be a fool's errand, but I plan on converting the entire RP into a novel format, and getting images commissioned for various moments that I enjoy/think are significant to the plotline. Even if it dies-- which hopefully it doesn't, I am thinking of pushing on, occasionally asking the prior players what their characters would react like. I'm not sure how I'd do it, but I'd be damned if I didn't see this one through.
...In fact, I've already spent about $130 on illustrating the prologue chapter alone, which will likely be included in the OOC, when I get it up.
So yeah, I come to you all with this offer, a new RP-- one of cute aircraft girls saving the world from the Neuroi once more, to start this new decade with.
