Because Kim was killed. They were smart enough to know that that would mean anarchy, so they left after Kim was killed and before the chem weapons hit.

I'm gonna break it down for you. They were watching the broadcast when Kim was shot and the broadcast was cut. They knew that shit would go down, so they left the embassy. After they escaped, it turns out they were right; chemical weapons were launched in Pyongyang. They made it out just in time.

I don't see any reason as to why any of this is any problem; I already retconned the story to fit OP's decision.

Dude, this is the OOC. If you want to offer a country a deal, that happens in the IC. And IC, there is no reason for Pakistan to join a military coalition of ex-Soviet countries. Pakistan hated the Soviets. That's why they helped Afghanistan destroy them.

Also I don't see any reason that my actions in this thread translate to repercussions on the IC thread. Not that they'd warrant any, anyways. I thought that changing it so they weren't in the embassy would fix things. Guess not.

Oh, well. Finals start this week, may as well quit playing around and focus on that. I'll be back soon for IC Prime Minister to give a speech about the mission. The world still doesn't know it happened yet ;)
