Appearance: Despite being of Mandolorian stock, the suns of Tatoonie have given his skin a sun kissed appearance. He stands at 5 feet 11, with shaggy brown hair and noticeable muscle tone. Deep green eyes and a hint of stubble on his face form a tanned, if a little scarred and beaten up face. Coming in at just shy of 199 pounds he is fit as a fiddle and doesn't hide it.

His Garb mostly comprises a simple set of trousers and a smuggler's shirt, with a long poncho and wide brimmed hat to protect him from the twin suns. He wears a set of light duraplast armor, comprised of a light chest and back plate, a pair of shoulder pads, and a pair of vembraces around his arms.

Personality: Laid back and quiet, yet quick to anger in a fight, Ziam is used to having to fall back to his staff and blaster for when his simple and straight forward speak fails him. He has a moral compass, but years of violence and hard survival have blended and grayed the world to him.
Likes: The Shade, pools, redheads and good Whiskey.
Dislikes: Imperials, Tatoonie, Zabraks
Goals: To make something of him self, to learn of his people's history and heritage.
Fears: dieing with no legacy, no one to remember him.

Background:

The tale of a scavenger is an...uninteresting one. Often quick, boring, and coming to a sad, pitiful end...yet every now and then, when the twin suns align, one story goes to some interesting places...

Ziam Cyrus was born to a pair of mercenaries, partners in a trade were most either join large groups or survive on their own. He doesn't know much about them, His Father, Jak, was a mechanic turned power tech who helped maintain the armor and weapons of his mother, Talia, who was a proper born warrior of Mandolore. His memories of them are fuzzy at best, of their quaint little home stead on the edge of the wastes. He does remember much of his older sister. He doesn't remember anything at all really how his parents died. A scream here, a blaster bolt there, its likely he has blocked it all out for his own sake.

His sister raised him on the streets of one of the roughest towns on the planet, and one of the roughest in the Galaxy. She had the fortune of being fluent in their mother tongue and taught him Mando'a before her eventual kidnapping and likely sale in to slavery some time nearing his 11th birthday. By then his family genetics shown strong he was bigger then other street kids, stronger, faster, and held more guile then they did. But the life of a street thug often only leads to more conflict, and around his 14th year on that hellish rock he was forced by an over abundance of enemies to leave the town of Mos Eisly and travel the wastes.

His time out there was stoic, lonely, yet he learned to appreciate the seclusion and introspection it often brought upon him. He found him self yearning to learn, more about his Mother's people, to see the Galaxy, and to build something of him self. He was detached from most of the Galactic events, the Empire, the rise of the rebellion and later the triumph of the New Republic. He has little taste for politics and the ever present Storm Troopers made operating in any real criminal capacity difficult. He learned to scavenge and to scrounge to survive, though befriending a few Jawa merchants made life a little easier. Around the age of 17 he began to grow a little stir crazy, the constant wandering of the same wilds meant that boredom, something he rarely felt before, set in and set in hard.

Wandering in to Mos Eisly one day he found him self short of cash and, seeing no real option, opted to hold up the first off world person he saw. Happening upon a bearded man he tailed him for some time and waited until he was alone, then drew his blaster and told him to hand over his credits. In a flash his blaster was out of his hand and something hit him on the side of the head. He woke up on a ship some time later with the same man, who said his name was Kyle, that Ziam was a force sensitive, and that he had an offer: Join the Resurgent Jedi or spend the night in the nearest Republic Jail.

Ziam chose the former.

Skills:
Pole arm Combat - a self taught style of wide arcs and flurries of motion combined with an above average level of strength and stamina come together to form a strong style of combat with Quarter staffs, spears, and saberstaffs.
Blaster Pistols - The most common weapon of the galaxy, constant use and near ubiquitous in the galaxy, A quick draw and potent aim aided by the force makes even the most old and rusty blaster a lethal weapon.
Speeder bike piloting - Speeders are an expensive yet handy tool for life on planet with wide open wastes, the personal ownership of one, even an old BARC bike stripped of any non needed materials to maximize speed and agility, is a mark of growing up in such a hostile place.
Cooking - More often then not one can find them selves having to cook to keep them selves alive. Food is a powerful tool of trade and properly cooked food is a powerful moral booster.

Weaknesses:
Forceful - One with excess strength and stamina will often find them selves relying on it often, perhaps to often to solve their problems.
Temperament - Even in some one apparently subdued and laid back, a single slight can ignite the fires of anger and rage and one with little training in curbing it can let it control them in the heat of the moment.
Introverted - Some one accustomed to life alone will find it hard to integrate in to a group, to form bonds of friendship and love, this can lead to feelings, often hidden, of loneliness and sadness that can fester and grow to resentment and jealousy.
