After forty minutes, the gunshots were replaced by the clink of handcuffs, Riot Control Androids heading downstairs to secure the area. "Now that the shooting has stopped, you and your dog can get down to business searching the place." Lieutenant Dale said to Ally before walking outside with a perp with a goatee and a barded wire ring tattoo on his forehead. "You have some explaining to do once we get back to the station, Officer Hendricks." Lieutenant Dale whispered to the thug as he escorted him to one of the waiting armored cars.

Zu helped pile a group of thugs into the back of an APC when he noticed a liquid on the ground, he also noted that the tires were deflated, up on closer inspection, he saw that there were bullet shaped tears on them. Zu Walker over to the lieutenant.

"Sir, somebody shot out the tires."

John

He smiled “finally” he saw his target and loaded AP into his gun “death is here” he saw his target through a steel mesh on the back of the armored truck. He fired, hitting his shot landing right in the center of the tattoo. The shot rang out for miles as it started to fade another was soon heard accompanied by a drop of a body, he fired again then changing positions.

"Sniper!" Zu yelled, taking cover behind an APC. He saw movement out of the corner of his eye, and let out a burst of AR fire into the rooftop.

Team Alpha's sniper ran to a nearby building as one of the Riot Control Androids fired tear gas grenades into the building, smoke rising from the building. After a few minutes, the SWAT sniper had gotten to a suitable position, placed his rifle on the window sill, sighted his target through the infrared scope, zeroed in, and pulled the trigger. The stream of plasma hit the assassin between the shoulder blade, knocking him down. "Target down, but still breathing." The SWAT sniper said over his radio as the Riot Control Androids and the rest of Team Alpha headed towards the building to apprehend the downed sniper.

He fired one last shot from the parking garage he was in, killing the cop sniper. “Well it looks like they got the civilian decoy, poor kid” he packed up his gun quickly, picking up his bullet casings before swiftly driving off on a motorbike. He made a call using his ear piece, calling his employer “iv completed the job as requested, I will meet you in due time”

Zu ran over to the sniper, but upon realizing he was dead, swore loudly. He heard the sound of a motorbike tearing off. He grabbed the radio in the APC and put out a dispatch.

"Al units, be advised, armed gunman on motorbike, currently on 49th street. Apprehend all persons on motorbikes until further notice, Bravo out."

"How did you get this number? The reason I hired through The Assassin's Web was to ensure that the demise of that two-timing backstabber could not be traced back to me. Still, you got the job done. Once you have thrown off the scent, head to the Baleful Eclipse Club and talk to Rosaline. You know, the Information Broker you were supposed to meet after you had eliminated the target instead of directly contacting me. She will pay you what you have earned, minus the credits it will take for me to have my friends on the force delete this little conversation." The voice on the other side of the line said to the assassin before ending transmission, his voice filled with anger.

John

He sighed and pulled into an alley way where there are motor junkies “hey this is yours” he got off it and gave it to them as he took his bag and walked out joining a crowd of people “idiot seems to forget that he used his own number” he sighed and went to pick up his money. He began carrying his bag over his shoulder as he lit a cigarette with his free hand, it had writing on it that said “death is in the kiss” he smirked as he walked. “It’s cheap for a crime lord like you to disappear, but it took me a year almost”

"Dispatch. Get a Hoverhearse down here. One of Undercover Division's boys just got whacked. Killer's dead, but his accomplice managed to drive away on a red and black Harley with chrome finish." Lieutenant Dale said to Dispatch before ending transmission and heading back inside. "Area secured, Lieutenant Dale. Any further requirements." One of the Riot Control Androids said to Lieutenant Dale as a crowd began to form, the insignia indicating that it was the leader of the platoon. "Just keep the crowd back until we've bagged up the evidence." Lieutenant Dale said to the Riot Control Android, the machine transmitting the order to the rest of the platoon.

Lieutenant Dale reentered the stash house, everyone holding their guns. "Hitman sniped one of the guys we busted. Someone from Undercover Division. We got him, but his accomplice drove off on a motorcycle. Hoverhearse is on its way to pick up the bodies and the Riot Control Androids are keeping the crowd back. Well, what are you waiting for? I want every possible nook and cranny searched. Narcotics. Guns. Credits. You find it, you bag it up." Lieutenant Dale said to Allison and the other officers in the building.

Zu started going through boxes and crates, he opened on and whistled slowly.

"Hey, Lieutenant, you're gonna want to see this." Zu called over his shoulder. The box was chalk full of cocaine, but more importantly, there was a slip of paper that had the Ming Devils insignia on it, with a message.

Lieutenant Dale examined the letter carefully before bagging it and placing it on a nearby table. "It looks like the new guys in town were buying additional firepower from the Ming Devils. Judging by the exotic choice of weapons and munitions, it is not the kind you can buy from your garden variety arms dealer. At best, this is going to get buried. Great Wall Security will just deny any connection to the Ming Devils if we try to press this and the media is not going to report on something that will give them bad PR on top of a slander lawsuit. Luckily, we can still press weapons charges against the perps we've busted." Lieutenant Dale said to Hou Zi before rummaging through the crate, finding military grade ordinance hidden under the dime bags full of cocaine.

John Is Presented with Big Game

Postby Flarbinia » Sun Dec 01, 2019 4:26 pm

"Don't call me that again, John. The client has already deducted the hush money from your bounty." Rosaline, one of the several Information Brokers who have set up shop in Obsidian Gargoyle City, said to John as she handed him three hundred thousand Credits, seven hundred thousand less than what was posted. "Let's see what The Assassin's Web has in store for us." Rosaline said to John as a holographic projector hummed to life, 3-D images of potential targets appearing in the blue light, Rosaline swiping left with her fat finger before finding a man who had spliced himself with the DNA of a crocodile. "This one is interesting. Leo Granada. Former top assassin for the Blades Of Kali, the best and deadliest Assassination Firm in the business. He broke taboo. Poached a couple of hits from other assassins. They have placed a rather steep price on his head: forty million alive, sixty billion dead, so long as he is presentable enough to be identified. Either way, this is a big payday. Word on the street is that some big game hunter has hired him and several other hired guns to flush out his prey during his trip to the Muramasa Hunting Grounds. Looks like you are going to Saito. I know a pilot who can get you there and someone that can get you a park ranger's badge, but once you arrive in the Las Vegas of the Moon, you are on your own. Are you in or out?" Rosaline said to John as she looked at the watermark on the bounty.

He leaned over the counter and took a look “oh yeah, Anderson is dead or captured, he was at the wrong place and poor timing” he then stood tall, he then put his cigarette out in an ash trey “I’m in, but give me a day to get gear and ammo, I’m gonna need camo” he began counting his money “preferably a ghillie suit” he looked at the large women at the desk waiting for a reply

"You know I don't micromanage. All I expect in return for making the right calls and greasing the right palms is that you pay my finder's fee once this hunt is over. Now, if you excuse me, I have other clients willing to pay for my services." Rosaline said to John as a man in a business suit entered the private booth with a chrome briefcase full of what she could only assume was unmarked Credits, her bodyguard searching him for weapons. "Sorry. Only regulars get to keep their weapons once they enter my booth." Rosalina said to the businessman as her bodyguard gave her the "all clear" sign.

"I know why you are here, Tao Yang. Your employer realized that robbing a convoy carrying Pseudoephedrine is too well planned and organized for the local tweakers to do it on their own, but you can't go to the cops because you would have to explain to them why Nüwa Chemicals would need that much OTC cold medicine, so you turn to me. I provide you with the names of the thieves and the address of their meth lab, for the right price." Rosaline said to the business man as she pointed towards the briefcase in his hand, her bodyguard closing the curtain behind Tao Yang.

"That explains the arrest I saw on front of today's newspaper. I can cover it up so no trail leads to us. Provide me the names and I can make them disappear. Pin it on another cartel to phony up a crime scene."

"A murderer wants to pin a crime on someone who didn't do it or a gang leader wants a scene to be cleaned up before the cops show up, they hire a fixer. Drug traffickers want someone to sneak forty kilos worth of cocaine past the wall, they hire a mule. Businessman wants to know who is fucking him, they see people like me and pay well for what they can dig up. You want the names and address, you better show me the credits in the briefcase or you're leaving this place empty handed." Rosaline said to Tao Yang as her bodyguard growled at the businessman for having the gall to try to boss her around.

Tao Yang opened up the brief case and he handed Rosaline with a list of names: Benjamin Turley, Katel Wang, and Fei Yan.

"These are names of people associated with cartels in our area. However I am not sure which ones though. They maybe even alias so these likely may not be their real names for certain reasons. I know they are in town for some big meeting which I plan to attend."

"I see that you brought me the credits. The tweakers who robbed the convoy are Fabio Danza, Greg Forelli, and John Sobotka, none of whom would have stolen the Pseudoephedrine if they knew that Nüwa Chemicals was owned by the Ming Devils. The address for the meth lab is 658 Omar Little Lane. Send some muscle there and they'll tell you which of Nüwa Chemicals' rivals was behind the espionage. As for the names you've mentioned, your Intel is wrong. They are not gang leaders or even locals. They are the intermediaries you talk to if you want to get your hands on the Tunisian Connection and believe me, Han Tzu is going to need product that good to stay afloat in the drug trade once the Brass Cobra Cartel takes over their rival's cocaine plantations and processing plants." Rosaline says to Han Tzu as her bodyguard counts the credits and scans them for any radioactive dyes.

Miss Li

Postby Elearnia » Thu Dec 05, 2019 11:26 am

Miss Li Sits on top a 1 foot raised platform, in a small hand carved mahogany chair with a lush red fabric woven into the base and back. Beside her stands Minato, a stern man, mid 30's, wearing a perfectly pressed black suit and tie. He stands politely, with his hands together, awaiting instruction, all the while investigating the room for disturbances or trouble.

Several men stand around the walls of the room looking in, clasping onto semi automatic weapons, as if a battle could unleash at any moment. Far to the left of miss Li sits a woman, mid 40's, playing a soft tune on a Ichigenkin.

Miss Li patently starts down at the table in front of her, slowly moving 1 of her mahjong tiles next to another. In-front of Miss Li, at the end of a long red carpet that runs down from the platform towards the door, stands a large man, his muscles tensed in fear.

Miss Li leans over and whispers into Minato's ear, who then stands back into an upright position, while she resumes her game

Minato: "An ancient Chinese game of patience. What one considers only a small failure, in the the end, can be a killing blow."

Man: I dont follow Miss Li

Minato leans over once again, as Miss Li whispers into his ear

Minato: "What was meant to be quick and tidy, has resulted in a tangle"

Man: "Miss Li, the instructions you gave were followed, the shipment was stolen, no-one is the wiser, just some tweakers stea-"

Miss Li picks a tile up off the board and grasps its firmly in her hand, Minato looks at her an interrupt's the man

Minato: "You follow the flea's to a dog, and you follow a dog to its master."

Man: "Miss Li I can assure you..."

Miss Li stands from her chair, facing away from the man stood below her

Miss Li: "Your assurances mean nothing to me, just as the wind's whispers mean nothing to the mountain. Take him. Ensure he remembers this failure"

2 men from the doorway approach the man, grabbing his by both arms and pulling him outside

Man:"Miss Li please, I beg you-"

The man disappears through the doorway, shortly after the 2 men reappear, closing the door behind them as they re-enter the room. Miss Li turns back around to face Minato.

Miss Li: "We must always be 1 step in front of our enemy's. Bring around the car, we head to the broker."

Miss Li begins walking, as Minato follows beside her, picking up an umbrella and opening it above her as they make there way outside.
