It is the year 2186 and Obsidian Gargoyle City is in a state of war. The arrival of a new drug cartel has forced the local drug cartel to ally themselves with the Yakuza, an uneasy truce between the city's two Triads is breaking down, the Mafia is in financial turmoil due to events overseas, the Russian Mob has sent two of their best men outside the city to retrieve power armor lost while in transit, and the police are stepping up their game in order to appease both Mayor Rocky MacGru and Ingsoc Industries, all while executives scheme, backstab, and embezzle. Once the Vortex of Blood and Neon has calmed down, nothing will be the same for the various gangs fighting for control of OGC's criminal underworld.

1. No godmodding or trolling. That includes using the OOC thread as your personal soapbox. DO NOT FLAME OR INSULT OTHER PLAYERS. IF YOU ARE CAUGHT DOING THIS YOU WILL GAIN A STRIKE. IF YOU HAVE THREE STRIKES YOU ARE PERMANENTLY BANNED FROM THE RP.
2. You cannot play as characters you created in other RPs without permission from the OP. If your character has an unresolved story arc in the original RP, it can be resolved in the IC of the current RP.
3. Factions are reserved for CO-OPs and the OP. The limit is one CO-OP per faction and one faction per CO-OP.
4. Your characters are not immortal. They can be killed.
5. All backstories have to be at least one paragraph long.
6. No Mary Sues!
7. NPCs can be used by any player unless it messes with the story.
8. Gene spliced individuals gain both the strengths and weaknesses of the animal DNA they are spliced with. However, gene splicing cannot alter one's gender, nationality, and/or ethnicity. Cybernetics, nanotechnology, and combat drugs also cannot change one's gender, nationality, or ethnicity.
9. All player characters that do not belong to a faction in No Man's Land are restricted to Obsidian Gargoyle City unless the character's subplot demands it. Any attempt to leave OGC will result in the would-be escapee being either disintegrated by the automated defenses or arrested by the OGCPD.
10. If a player character makes a decision that contradicts their alignment, the alignment will shift.
11. If a player character is a cop or an Ingsoc Industries security guard that is going undercover, you have to use standard issue weaponry unless your weapons have been looted from the corpses of hostile NPCs (So if the bouncers and gangbangers are armed with SMG's, you can't be carrying around a Gatling gun).
12. All players must ask for permission before putting a major event in their posts.
13. No one liners. All offenders have three days to edit or delete the offending post
