[floatleft]Sera, a planet that has seen it's fair share of violence, is now facing it's bloodiest war yet. Humanity established itself on this planet, forming governments and going to war over imulsion, a valuable chemical used to power cities and nations. The humans mined the planet mercilessly, and treated each other even worse. Their activities awoke something deep below, something dangerous. This new danger burst out from the ground to destroy humanity. Given the name Locust because of their genocidal destruction of everything, they swept over Sera, annihilating huge numbers of the COG armies in a few years. Cities crumbled under the onslaught of the Locust Horde, people fled to cities like Jacinto, Ilima, Montevado, and Tollen. What remains of the COG Gears now are tasked with keeping humanity alive for as long as possible.

In this RP you will play as individual Gears of the COG 9th army, holding out in the city of Jacinto 2 years before the events of the first game. Your backs are to the wall, the Locust are closing in, and your orders are to hold out until Command figures out a plan. Humanity is at the brink of extermination, one thing you can take comfort in is that it isn't dead, yet.
