Physical Description: About 5'10", weighs 120 lbs, medium build and somewhat noticeable muscles, buzz cut dark brown hair, pale skin, green eyes. He can be most commonly seen wearing camo pants and a grey shirt, wearing a brown leather belt with a gunmetal buckle. He mostly wears brown leather boots that look well-worn in a men's size 12.5.
Personal Traits: Incredibly clever, strategic thinking, can endure running at medium pace, one hell of a marksman, especially shy around girls, straight, trusts very few people, can carry a decently large amount of weight.
Additional info: Guns. Guns are his thing. He is fascinated by them and learned to shoot extremely well, able to plink 1" groups at 250 yards. He can control recoil very well and has the strength to carry multiple long guns. He tends to retreat to a more quiet area when around girls due to him being extremely shy around them. He doesn't handle cold temperatures very well, having lived most of his life in a hot climate.

Rafe Cochran's Knowledge Of, and Relations with, Other Characters

Calvin Perez: Rafe does not know hardly anything about Calvin, maybe his name and that he looks older than a high school student. Calvin only recently moved into town this year. Rafe is not friends with, nor an enemy of, Calvin but likely does not trust him very much at the beginning of the story.

Dom Dohman: Rafe met Dom at the YMCA beginner's karate class. Dom saw Rafe's school advanced math school books and realized that Rafe had a talent that could help Dom. Rafe considers Dom his best friend and protector. Dom doesn't seem to share much info from his life with Rafe, but can speak in generalities about how tough the world is and give Rafe advice.

Leia Fischer: Leia is Rafe's neighbor, in the home across the street from where he lives. They've met a few times. She is the same age as his sister, Leia and Veronica don't seem to be friends which is a plus in Rafe's estimation of Leia. Still, Leia is an older girl, and based on his experiences with his own older sister, and Rafe is not inclined to trust her at the beginning of the story.

MatroStuart: Mateo is an older boy and an acquaintance of Rafe. Mateo had some kind interaction with Rafe's sister, but it seems to have been negative. That said, Rafe is pleased, but a little puzzled as to why Mateo is something of a pal to him. Both of them seem to enjoy science fiction and imagine that there's probably life on other worlds.

Additional Info he recently moved into the town and had only a couple of weeks to get to know everyone thus resulting in other people not really knowing him either ( who would have guessed )
