The Swiss government has sent the body of Wilhelm Gustloff, ex-leader of the Swiss NSDAP/AO back to Germany via train, going from Davos to Schwerin, and made stops in Stuttgart, Würzburg, Erfurt, Halle, Magdeburg and Wittenberg Before finally stopping in his birthplace of Schwerin in Mecklenburg, and there he was given a state funeral with Adolf Hitler, Joseph Goebbels, Hermann Göring, Heinrich Himmler, Martin Bormann and Joachim von Ribbentrop in attendance. Gustloff's widow, mother and brother attended the funeral and received personal condolences from Hitler. His assassin David Frankfurter remains at Bern in prison and is awaiting trial.
In other news, Swiss Winter Olympic team has left for Germany, 28 nations we will be at the winter Olympics with Switzerland among them. Alpine skiing will be at the games for the first time, along with Military patrol, the International Olympic Committee originally refused admission of this sport into the Olympic Program, but the expressed desires of Adolf Hitler forced the IOC to make this program a demonstration sport.
