Bad news, you died. And you didn't lead the most pious life on Earth, so you came to us. Welcome to Hell. Fire, demons, all that fun stuff...well, fun for us, not for you. Anyway, normally we'd be flaying you with a spoon right now, but you've been selected for a special assignment as it were. Seems in life you were somewhat capable at fighting, killing, generally snuffing out life in all its splendor. Which is probably how you wound up here come to think of it. Anyway, we like to think we're on top of things. But sometimes things...slip by...and by slip by, we mean escape Hell. I mean you try monitoring several trillion damned and see if a tenacious one doesn't occasionally bust out.
Anyhow, the Boss (AKA, Satan, Lucifer, the Dark Prince, so on.) isn't pleased about that. And since he can't very well fetch them himself (You know, cause Satan walking on Earth is kind of a harbinger of the end times and all) you chuckleheads are gonna do it for us. A little demonic power and we're tossing you back up on Earth to clean up the mess. Who knows, maybe we'll fudge your damnation record and get you heaven bound if you do well enough. Do bad, die, generally annoy us...well, I've got my spoon ready. Now get to work.
